Zoe (10/5): amazing place for a cozy weekend away! loved every second - we loved it so much! second time staying here and it was just as cozy as last time :) we would’ve loved an extension lead to go to either side of the bed so both of us could charge our phones at night. an ice cube tray would’ve also been a nice touch so we could have cooler water for the hot days :)

Andrew (9/5): Superb - Loved the bush surrounds and proximity to the walking track, VERY clean, all amenities that we needed, loved the bird life right outside the windows. The nearby road noise though not a lot of traffic was noticeable, the rock garden in front of our cottage needs some love and attention, and the fry pan needs replacing as bottom is bowed and therefore doesnt sit flat on the hotplate ... but all these were minor and didnt detract from the enjoyment of the stay.

Amanda (8/5): - We stayed four nights in “Jewel”, a beautifully appointed one bedroom cottage set amongst natural bushland on the property. Check in / check out was super easy, if needed the hosts were available and easy to contact. The cottage was clean, spacious and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing, uncomplicated getaway. Perfectly located between Cowaramup and Margaret River making it easy to get out and about to explore everything the region has to offer. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Maggie (10/5): I’d go again and I will recommend. - The relative isolation, ie distance between units. The interior practical luxury. I would have loved to find cosmetics - soap, shampoo, body lotion - to use in the glorious bathroom.
Katalin (9/5): It was a relxing, carefree stay, just as we hoped. - We loved the cottage, and the design and the comfort of it. It was perfect for what we needed. We loved sitting on the verandah, reading and staring into the bush, listening to the birds. I have one suggestion. Two little bedside lamps for reading would be wonderful. The ceiling lights are not nice to use for reading at night. The table lamps would also add to the lovely ambience.

Tom (10/5): - Wonderful private and comfortable cottage nestled in the bush. Right next to the Wadandi walking and cycling track and an easy walk to Cowaramup, possibly the friendliest town in the South West, and a longer hike/easy bike ride to Margaret River. The Golden Jersey petrol station/general store in Cowaramup is a great place to hire bikes if you don’t bring one with you. The cottage has a great cleared outdoor area for the kids to run around and kick a ball, plus there’s a nice little playground with swings and a slide. The wood fire makes for cosy evenings with a glass of red from a nearby winery or cup of tea from the quirky tea shop in Cowaramup (if you can’t be bothered building a fire the reverse cycle AC warms the place up nicely too). We would unreservedly recommend Ellensbrook to anyone looking for a relaxed holiday down south.

The cottage was very luxurious, romantic and well appointed, and the location is very convenient - just 10 minutes to Margaret River Township or the closest swimming beach, and surrounded by wineries, food producers etc. Loved it.

Mike (10/5): Private cottage near Margaret River - A very enjoyable stay. The cottage is fully self contained and while there are other cottages close by, it is still very private. A short ten minute drive put us in the town of Margaret River and there are many things to do and see and do within easy distance. The air conditioning was most welcome on the hot days and when it cooled down, a glass of wine on the verandah was also very relaxing.

The cottages were very comfortable, not the most modern, but very clean, very comfortable and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Our host was lovely, very helpful and accommodating. Only suggestion would be to check the address details prior to setting your GPS...we got lost...twice!
Verified traveler (6/5): Mixed Feelings - Nice place to stay and relatively close to the things we wanted to do. Our first night, we found dead bugs on the sheets which one wouldn't expect for the price. The price was too high for the cottage overall but it was all we could get at the last minute.
Verified traveler (6/5): Probably a nice place to stay but too expensive. - What ruined the cottage for us was that it was so very expensive and then we found little dead bugs under the pillows of the bunk beds. The kids refused to sleep in the bunk beds and we ended up squishing a family of 5 in two queen beds. We were tired, it was late and nobody had been around when we checked in so we didn't call to report it until the next morning. The lady was nice to fix it but made me feel responsible because I didn't call her to clean it up when we discovered the bugs. (We were tired and it was late...) She ended up spraying too so I am glad we didn't sleep in the room right after she sprayed. The location was pretty good for us. This was our first time in Margaret River.

Well equipped kitchen and loved the little touches; fresh bread, milk, butter and jams. Only complaint is we couldn't stay longer!!
