- Joanne (7/5): Good -
- Janis (8/5): Good stay that suited the purpose for my stay In Broken Hill - Quiet in a convenient location
- Maxine (7/5): Very homely property - Nice to meet host in person. A lot of personal memorabilia gave a cluttered feel but it didn't impact on our stay.
- Denise (10/5): Highly recommend this property and host. - After several nights in one room cabins this spacious cottage was a home away from home. The host had thoughtfully provided anything you might need. Comfortable bed, good towels and reading lamps by the bed. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Comfortable lounge and dining room. Easy to use laundry. Very close to shops and maps and local info was provided. Nothing could be improved upon!
- Kathie (8/5): Very comfortable and clean - Definitely the heating
- Chris (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed this wander down memory lane. - This fully equipped period country cottage is totally evocative of my earliest memories of living on a remote farm with all the quirks and tweaks that that brings. The inclusion of family mementoes throughout is also very engaging. The kitchen's simple effectiveness and its collection of utensils and dinnerware was also a pleasant surprise. Internet access would have been appreciated but may have led to us not visiting as many of the regions attractions as we did. The often-heard barking dogs from near and far was a memory refresh we could have done without.
- Vickie (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (10/5): A gem of a complete house! - Such a lovely" lived in home" full of the owners memorabilia. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was catered for. Host met us on time and provided clear and accurate information. Great to have a washing machine and dryer. Property could not.be faulted.
- Ian (9/5): We enjoyed our stay - The place was lovely and clean, it was comfortable to stay in. Like staying at our grand parents house, a lot of interesting history with in the house and the host left lots of pamphets on what to do in Broken Hill.
It was central to everything

- Paul (10/5): - Beth is easy to communicate with and very responsive
- Lisa (10/5): Perfect - The house was clean quiet and comfy, and kind of retro style. Beth the host was really helpful. She had many interesting stories snd tips but she gave us complete privacy. We liked everything
- Christine (9/5): Very comfortable and well located. - It was staying with my parents or grandparents. It was well provisioned there were condiments, washing powder, plenty of kitchen waste and crockery etc We did have a misunderstanding with the owner, however that was sorted and Iām happy with the outcome. We will stay there again when we visit Broken Hill.

- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Bronwyn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Glenn (7/5): Good house, bad host - Very well presented, comfortable house to stay in The host was very officious demanding to be paid in cash despite my being prepared to pay her by bank transfer immediately, and had a big list instructions of do this and don't do that. When we got into the house it was full of little signs everywhere of this, that, and the other of what we were not allowed to do. Left a very bad taste to the start of our stay. When we had left got message complaining about a couple of things that had not been left exactly as they had been
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - The place was clean and had everything we needed. Woollies was 5min walk and Coles was 10mins walk away. Capon Cottage is a perfect 3 bedroom house to stay in and the owner Beth is a delight, very helpful. Nothing

- Bownray (9/5): A comfortable, well located house replete with the owner's memorabilia. - Located close to shopping centre. Collecting keys from the opposite side of town when coming from Adelaide.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a very cosy older style house with plenty of room. The owner Beth was very nice .Would stay again .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Heaps of homely , very dated (70s) decor and memorabilia, great deep bath tub, good aircon, firm beds, piles of kitchen equipment, everything you would need to live for weeks. Quiet part of town except for noisy next door dogs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A glimpse into life in the past - Comfortable house with lots of knick-knacks and memorabilia. Great atmosphere and an insight into life in another era.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved that it felt like home with all the photos, books, paintings and furnishings. It provided everything we needed and felt really comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely cottage with a lot of history. Great location
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cottage was very homely and had everything we needed for our three night stay. It was located in a good area and the owner was lovely to communicate with.
The beds were super comfortable!
- Ted (8/5): - Very comfortable and well appointed. Location a short drive to town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The house and location was perfect for us and the grandchildren.
- Michael (8/5): Comfortable homely cottage. Close to shops. - Comfortable homely cottage. Everything you need for self catering.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value - Value for money. Cottage was spotless, plenty or room, quiet area with shopping minutes away. One small downside was cottage only had heating in lounge room & strip heater in bathroom so on chilly winter days couldn't warm the entire house but did have electric blankets in bedroom. Advance/Pre-arrange meeting for key drop off & collection is required so a little difficult to leave when you want knowing you have to wait for key collection rather than lock in cottage on way out.
- Dennis (10/5): fabulous home with a lot of history - Wonderful place to stay. Every amenity supplied in perfect condition. Owner's communication great and extremely helpful. Easy commute to town (2mins by car) and sights offered by the area. Will certainly recommend as a great place to stay.
- Brian (10/5): Good house in a convenient position - The service from the owner was very personal and we enjoyed our stay, which I think was more pleasant then a hotel, as there were not lots of other folk with noisey children disturbing our time at the Capon Cottage
- Enuff42 (8/5): - Caporn Cottage is a very homely stay stocked full of personal memorabilia. For the price we would have liked internet to be included and or a dishwasher.
- jennie (10/5): Close to town and shopping centre. Central - A home away from home. The cottage has everything
- Tom (8/5): Good disabled facilities - The disabled facilities were adequate for a person with limited mobility .
- Sue (10/5): Perfect spot to relax for a few night stay - We were visiting Broken Hill to attend a recent conference and this was the perfect place for us to stay for four nights. We were comfortable and warm throughout our winter stay in this lovely cottage. Although it is a drive to Argent Street, this was part of our attraction to this accommodation as it is in a quiet but convenient location. The home had everything we needed to cook our own meals and allowed us plenty of space for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the electric blanket kept us warm at night in July! It was the perfect 'home away from home' to return to after busy days at our conference! Thank you!
- Nick (10/5): 3 Nights at Capin Cottage - We had a great few nights at Capon Cottage - very cosy spot for the middle of winter in the outback!
The kids loved the electric blankets and everything was conveniently available!
Books, the organ (which the girls played) and loads of mags for a holiday read.
Great stuff!
