• Two-Bedroom House

  This luxury cottage features two bedrooms and is designed to accommodate four adults or a family of four. While there are no cooking (hot-plate) facilities inside, a BBQ is provided for guests' use. The main bedroom includes an ensuite with a spa, and the second bedroom has access to a separate bathroom with a bathtub. The cottage features a comfortable family area with a wood fireplace and a dining space. It is located approximately 361 feet from the main building but on the same property. Guests in the cottage have access to the main building’s pool and gardens. Additionally, the cottage offers its own separate outdoor space and parking.

• Di (9/5): Looking forward to our next visit. - Really enjoyed staying here —- could wander into Clare along the riesling trail in one direction or a short hop to Tim Adams winery in the other. Lovely green pastoral outlook. The layout was good for a couple. Not a crammed and it has worn its years well. Had forgotten how nice a jacuzzi can be. And very comfortable bed and pillows. Very little … if I was being picky I’d say swap the white sliced bread left for breakfast for something more wholesome, and the assorted jam sachets looked pretty average. Maybe provide something local. But certainly a lot of choice.

• Henk (10/5): A great quiet place for couples only with everything available to enjoy an amazing time. - Location with great views, spacious with lovely lounge, small but well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed with crisp linen and an amazing spa bathroom, very classy decorated and attention to detail. Lots of candles to make it extra special! Complimentary bottle of local wine and chocolates were much appreciated and plenty of breakfast provisions ie bacon & eggs 😊 No dislikes.

• Tracy (10/5): Romantic getaway - Beautiful, peaceful location. We stayed in the Tim Knappstein suite with a huge spa, comfortable bed and everything we needed. Generous breakfast provisions and welcome bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Highly recommend
• Jo (6/5): Clean property, good location, instructions needed much earlier on as to access/location etc. - Location was great, property very clean and great to have a dishwasher. It was very cold and there were no instructions for how to make it warmer. I didn't understand how to work the aircon and all it did was blow out cold air. Instructions to get to the property/entry etc were not received until we'd left Adelaide and I am not on data roaming so initially I couldn't find the property, didn't realise you could just walk into it (I thought we'd have to check in) so that needs to be rectified.

The hosts supplied generous breakfast supplies and “extras” that added to the ease and enjoyment of our stay. Brice Hill Country Lodge is positioned with a lovely outlook across the property and beyond. A good location for accessing the Clare Valley vineyards and attraction.

We stayed in the Seven Hills suite which suited our needs as a couple and included everything we wanted. Small but complete kitchen, large bathroom and spa, nice size lounge/dining with a bay window. Well equipped with small details like pool towels, a good lot of food provided for breakfast. A very good stay. Nil

• ALISTAIR (8/5): A haven of peace and quiet for a short stay - in summer the pool is a bonus! - The location is very good and it’s a lovely quiet comfortable property. We loved the pool every day of our stay and enjoyed seeing Kangaroos at various times of the day. Host KD was very helpful.

Whilst not cheap, there were little added touches such as a bottle of wine, chocolates, and certainly more than enough provisions for breakfast. The outlook was excellent as the front faced the pool and cabana, whilst the back had its own private area although too hot to enjoy. N/A

• Juli (9/5): Excellent stay - Although check-in was a little confusing, the stay was very good. The house has plenty of space, with two separated areas: a bedroom, dressing room, large bathroom, and a combined living room, dining room, and kitchen. There's a shaded back patio where you can relax outdoors in the shade. The pool is a fantastic addition to your stay. You're close to Clare (about a 20-minute walk) and the other towns in the area (Sevenhills, Mintaro, Penwortham, etc.), and the Riesling Trail passes in front of the property. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine. If we come back to Clare Valley (sure) we will repeat.

• Susan (9/5): Lovely retreat from life and cool haven in 40C heat - Travelling in a van and roof top tent we were looking for air conditioning and the pool was a bonus. Excellent breakfast supplies! A little tired in places. Torn curtains in the main bedroom. Worn woodwork in bathroom furniture.

I would suggest drapes in front of the bathroom door/windows

Lovely sunken spa, well appointed with great breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine. Decent sized fridge, dishwasher and good cooking facilities. Didn’t use the pool but close by and clean. Fantastic value for money! Sofa is a bit outdated (Eldridge Suite) and queen sized beds would be nice (vs doubles).

Very comfortable apartment comprising a large bedroom, great lounge and well stocked kitchen and an absolutely huge bathroom, featuring a plunge bath/spa. The pool wasn't quite in operation, but we were there late October!
