- Verified traveler (8/5): Tranquil relaxing stay - Great spot to explore McLaren Vale wineries. Peaceful
- Graham (10/5): Homely B&B - Single unit close to McLaren Vale and to pleasant walks. Well looked after by Richard. Lovely, well decorated bedroom and conservatory where the excellent breakfast was served.
- Paul (10/5): Great B&B in SA - Super stay - unfortunately only for one night stopover on way to KI. Hosts fantastic, area lovely, pub great, and a really comfy sleep.
- Al (10/5): Your Own Oasis in a Beautiful Setting - My wife and I had a wonderful 4 nights at this gem, your own cabin with comfy bed, bathroom and eating area. Everything was very clean and the breakfasts were excellent (including a picnic breakfast made for us for one very early departure day). Our hosts Richard and Elizabeth were extremely pleasant and helpful to us in many ways. First class service and plenty of helpful advice about the area. We used this as a base to do wine touring in McLaren Vale which is minutes away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hospitality second to none. Quaint quiet private rustic. Great value for money
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We made our booking only half and hour before arriving. Host Richard responded wonderfully well.
- Jodale (10/5): GREAT PLACE TO STAY - The facilities are first class. Richard and Elizabeth are great hosts available but not intrusive. Well situated in McLaren Vale area. We were there for a wedding and everything was perfect. The breakfast were beautiful prepared and presented. We had access to the pergola and conservatory in addition to the room and all were of the highest standard.
We would have no issue referring our family, friends or anyone else to using this beautiful B & B.
Keep up the great work Richard and Elizabeth.
- Daniel (10/5): Lovely BnB in great location - Wonderful stay. Wonderfully warm and friendly hosts - beautiful breakfast - extremely comfortable accommodation
- Nancy (10/5): Lovely place, fabulous hosts - After a late arrival due to our flight being cancelled and delayed we arrived to a very peaceful and charming house that took all our earlier stresses away. Richard and Elizabeth were wonderful. Great breakfasts, great local knowledge. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thanks for the lovely experience. Nancy
- Rebecca (10/5): Superb place with the best breakfast - Highly recommend staying here if you want a fantastic location, exceptional service and a breakfast to die for. Richard and Elizabeth are perfect hosts, taking care of your every need. We will be back, thanks you so much!
- Nikiesha (10/5): Cozy and comfortable - Stayed here for an over night get away! And we loved the whole experience.
The little house has so much character. I would definitely recommend!
As for the service we woke up to a huge breakfast bought to our door which was exactly what we needed to start our day!
- Chris (8/5): Lovely ambience - Was a central location to the areas we wished to travel to.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay, close to wineries - This is a fantastic B&B and close to wineries (5 minutes drive). Great breakfast! Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. A very homely feel. Great service. What more do you need.
- M & D (10/5): A great start to our Easter holiday - Thank you for the lovely hosts, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast. The Anzac biscuits was a nice treat. Richard provided us wonderful ideas about our drive to Kangaroo Island. Will definitely be back if we are in the McLaren Vale regions.
- Well travelled (8/5): Comfortable stay in close proximity to McLarenvale - Friendly hosts & cozy accommodation. Good substantial breakfast with choices, served in a choice of venues; ours enjoyed in the very relaxing Conservatory, a gorgeous little taste of Tuscany, the highlight of our stay. Maps of local area & magazines etc available. A pleasant experience.
- Elaine (10/5): Nice base outside of Adelaide - We stopped for just one night. We were looking for a place outside of Adelaide as a jumping off point for Kangaroo Island. Chose Peppercorns based on reviews, not disappointed! The property is part of the neighborhood - we heard activity at the nearby community center, but it was not late so sleeping was wonderful. Apparently we missed a koala in the tree a few nights before!
- Steve (10/5): - Perfect location for our function on the weekend, great host, lovely room.
Very comfortable, we stay again!
- Rowena (8/5): Clean, cosy and tranquil. Very good breakfast. - Very spacious and cosy chalet style accommodation with beautiful furnishing. 5-10 minutes drive from the heart of McLaren Vale and major wineries. Clean bathroom with thick hotel grade towels (in our case it was Country Road). Very good hair dryer. The room also has a 3 seater lounge plus 2 chairs so you don't have to sit on the bed to read or watch TV. We only stayed for 2 nights so did not have to unpack our suitcases, however, may need a wardrobe for those who stay for longer. We would have given a "5" for room comfort and only mark 4 because the mattress on the bed is not firm and it was a bit uncomfortable for our backs.
We were given a choice of having breakfast in our room, the outdoor patio or the conservatory. We chose the conservatory because of its nice setting with a water feature, indoor plants and hammock. The breakfast is scrumptious and delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, not from a carton.
Richard and Elizabeth are nice hosts. Attentive but also leave you to yourself. The price we paid is good value and we recommend to other travellers.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quaint - Peaceful and relaxing. Quiet location but not too far away.
- PATRICK (8/5): Top quality B & B. - Comfortable accommodation. Elizabeth and Richard provide a marvellous breakfast, are great hosts with valuable tips on all points of interest in the area.
- Alison.E (10/5): Amazing B+B - From the moment of arriving at this beautiful property to the warm welcoming! My husband and I had the best time! Wonderfully created and maintained was just so lovely..the bed! Best!! Didn't want to leave ! We will be back!
