Even saved me with a bottle of hair conditioner when needed some ( I brought 2 shampoos 🙃 ) Only thing bad was the weather and that wasn't their fault. If it wasn't such a nice stay the weekend may just of been ruined.... Thanks again Guys 😘

Very comfy bed, tea/coffee facilities in our room also a fridge. Extra little touches in the bathroom. Breakfast every morning, great location. Look forward to staying there again.

It is in an amazing location right across the road from the beach and within a few minutes walk from the pubs, restaurants and amenities. We had a breath-taking view from our room of the harbour - we sat in the bay window to see the hustle and bustle of Weymouth. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Our daughter is glutton intolerant and they offered to make her sandwiches every day to take away with us. They also offered to adapt her breakfast and told us of restaurants which offered a glutton-free menu. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Cavendale. In fact, our stay surpassed our expectations. We needed a relaxing break this year and the owners certainly ensured we got it. Thank you so much.

The Cavendale has lovely views of the beach to the front and across the harbour to the back of the hotel so it's a lovely location to stay
- P (8/5): Excellent short stay - Hotel is in an excellent location just yards from the beach and the harbor. Our room had a lovely view of the harbor with all the different boats coming in and out. The room was clean but could do with a revamp at some stage. Really clever idea in these C19 times to provide breakfast delivered to your room rather than in a restaurant. Excellent made sandwiches and rolls, with Croissant, Yoghurt and Orange juices. Hosts were very friendly and even provided extra cups and lollipops for the kids. Hotel also provided free parking in the streets around the esplanade area, nice touch. Would recommend this hotel.

- Kelly (10/5): Fabulous stay - I stayed at The Cavendale for a week and had a thoroughly relaxing time. Richard and Sam are great hosts and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean, as were the public areas of the property. The room had a comfy bed, great extras and fab views. With Covid around you can feel safe at The Cavendale. There are plenty of santitising areas and places to safely dispose of rubbish. The breakfast options were fab and they cater for food requirements (gluten allergies etc.). I would highly recommend staying here. I had a great, relaxing time and look forward to returning.

- Marcel (10/5): Ticks every box - If you want somewhere that ticks ALL the boxes this it. Location, opposite the beach, opposite the harbour. Stunning views. Rooms. Mega comfy beds and pillows which is SO unusual! Tea/coffee and milk in room plus biscuits and on first homemade LUSH cookies! What a nice touch! Rooms were spotless. Food. Due to COVID your breakfast is brought to your room. These owners are organised! You order the night before and it is brought to your room in a paper bag and all wrapped up, pipping hot. It is put in a bread or roll for the best ever one you will order! We had bacon, sausage, egg, mushroom sandwich first day, OMG! then was recommended it in their homemade roll for 2nd night OMFG! I can eat but wow (see pictures it was massive!). Mrs had 1/2 on beach for lunch! The owners Lovely couple who know how to run a business and adapt with lovely touches. Loads of tea/coffee/ mugs etc by reception. Lastly the reviews. Most are great as they are true but you get the knob. Ignore them.

Nothing was too much trouble. The location is excellent ,overlooking both the beach to the front and the Barbour to the rear,and is close to the thriving restaurant scene on the quay where fresh fish dishes are available in abundance with both indoor and outdoor dining. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Room was comfortable, well appointed....even had a small refrigerator. Only negative was that the bathroom, toilet area was terribly cramped....a large person would be in trouble. Definitely would return when visiting Weymouth. Very, very good value for your money.

Really friendly staff and exemplary breakfast served in a lovely bright and airy dining room. I asked for extra toast at breakfast, which was provided without hesitation, at no extra cost. Imagine that at a Premier Inn? Parking permit issued by the Hotel is a great idea. Small, family run hotels like this need all the support they can get, and here at the Cavendale they really do go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a good one. Recommended without hesitation.

Owners very nice and friendly, always ready to help. Room confortable with beautiful sea view. Only problem is with parking as area is quit busy. But you can park in public car park not far from accomodation. You can get whole day parking ticket from owners just for £4 for whole day.

The owners gave us a permit to use in the area around the property but it was often difficult to find a vacant spot. The room was small and the decor was awful. The shower was temperamental and noisy. The towels were of poor quality and we only had one each for the three nights we were there. However, on the plus side. The breakfasts were excellent. We had a lovely view from our room and the position of the hotel was convenient for the harbour and seafront.

- Spencer (10/5): Weymouth's little gem - The Cavendale is situated in a great location with some awesome views of both the harbour and the beach. The bed is so comfortable and the room facilities are plenty. Richard and Sam couldn't have done more for us, in addition we had some nice little touches over the Easter weekend, Richard, Sam and Chloe are lovely people and made us feel so welcome in their home. Now for the pièce de résistance, the breakfast , fresh cut fruit, cereals , yogurt, hot cross buns, fruit juice, tea ,coffee , full English however you like it, omelettes, rolls, toast and more..... You won't be disappointed. Good luck Guys on your first summer season , keep up the amazing hospitality you showed us and you will never go wrong.
- Robert (10/5): April Bank Holiday - Great place to stay, yes a bit basic but nevertheless nice and clean. Run by a very friendly and helpful couple. Fantastic views of the Seafront or if you are staying at the rear a view of the Harbour. We will definitely be using this lovely B&B again

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I spend my birthday in Weymouth every year and stayed at the Cavendale for several years with the previous proprietors. New proprietors own the Hotel now and I was very pleased to meet this new couple. I was made very welcome and was given a room with a view of the harbour which I enjoyed very much as there is usually something to see from the window. I found the new couple were very welcoming and friendly, the bed and the room were comfortable and the breakfast was very substantial. I look forward to staying with them next year if possible.
- Anthony (10/5): - Had a great welcome. Hotel was lovely and on seafront with brilliant view. Breakfast (veggie) was absolutely brilliant and Great choice. Both staff were attentive and extremely friendly. Facilities in room very good. Bed excellent, slept like a log. Would recommend and will return.
