- Richard (3/5): We stayed 2 nights and I was very disappointed. On arrival the whole frontage of the motel was in the hands of builders. -

- Tim (9/5): Regent of Rye was a Great Buy 👍 - It was a good location. Very nice room and ensuite. Comfortable and warm. The facilities were good.
- Martin (8/5): - Location and clean Room a bit small, noisey outside the front early morning
- Gabrielle (10/5): -

- J (9/5): A perfect place to stay for your visit to Rye. - We had an excellent experience all round. Sara our host was friendly, helpful and gave us an overall excellent stay. You can tell this hotel is 'family run' as the whole establishment is spotless with a very warm and friendly feel. The location is ideal being just a couple of minutes walk from the High Street and lovely side roads with their multitude of restaurants, galleries and interesting shops. We will definitely return here on our next visit to wonderful Rye.
- Linda (9/5): We would re visit, good stay and the weather of course helped!! - Check in with Scarlett was warm and welcoming
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.
Excellent central location All was good
- Pamela (7/5): - Location was great.
Clean and friendly staff. It was noisy, between people
coming up to their rooms.
People outside drinking and people starting work early in the morning. Besides that it was great.
- Deborah (9/5): - Convenient location for our stay
- Angela (10/5): FAB little hotel - Lovely little hotel within a few minutes walk from the high street. Check in was easy & staff were very friendly & welcoming.
Room was really clean & although quite small was very well set out. Good size bathroom & great shower with plenty of fresh towels. Twin beds were really comfortable.
Honesty box with soft drinks, water & snacks was available, which was really handy. Nothing...was a great stay.
- Apolloniya (10/5): -
- Rieke (5/5): - Die nette Besitzerin Sehr hellhörig. Viel zu weiche /durchgelegene Betten.
- Gary (9/5): Great Location & Stay - Location. Staff were professional and helpful. Clean and well maintained. Little bar and reception area but I didn't use this but looked nice enough. Had a parking space for vehicle too which was good. I had extra time to leave the car to go into town after check out as staff said it was OK which was super helpful as I wanted to spend another hour or two before departing.
- Michael (7/5): Very clean property but lots of extras you have to pay for in the room. Charging for bottle water which I have not exper - Very clean and good location Charge for bottled water, shower was cold in the morning. Very limited parking.
- Bob (10/5): Friendly service, beautiful room, comfortable bed, & great location - Friendly service, beautiful room, comfortable bed, great location and was lucky to secure a parking space. I'd highly recommend.
- Lucia (9/5): Perfect weekend stay in a picturesque town. - Very handy location, parking on site. Good fixed room and discount at the Bar. No issues at all
- Anabelle (10/5): - Had a lovely stay with everything that we needed.
- Anne (8/5): A good value for money delivering clean and well presented facilties. - This is a very clean and well presented room with everything you need. Including dressing gowns is a lovely touch. We needed a car parking space which in Rye is sometimes a challenge and this was provided at the back of the property. For us not having breakfast available is our preference and there is a good choice of cafes in Rye to choose from. It is well priced and delivers what you need well. A drop box for the key in the morning to make sure that it is secure.
- Susan (9/5): Excellent stay, 2 nights for the price of 1 in a hotel on the high street. Fantastic value for money. - Excellent location, large clean rooms with everything you need.fantastic value for money compared to elsewhere in Rye. The entrance could do with a bit of a make over, it’s not very welcoming or appealing to look at, and I was a little concerned when I arrived, however, thankfully the room, price and location made up for it.
- Nicola (9/5): - Clean comfy location No breakfast facilities although plenty of snacks in the room if needed
- Sam (9/5): Very comfortable and everything I needed - Great location and very clean. Tasteful and with thought put into the little details. Nothing
- Murray6296 (9/5): - Friendly team, great location and bed was very comfortable Nothing... All good
- BArry (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Great value alternative to The George and The Mermaid, where we have stayed on previous visits. - Lovely room. Great shower. All immaculately clean. Great position with easy access to all parts of the town. No breakfast, steep stairs, insufficient tea bags
- Ivaylo (9/5): -
- Louisa (10/5): Really nice stay in a great central location. Lovely staff. I would recommend and stay again. - Great location, great staff.
- Chris (10/5): Absolutely great - Perfect stay, lovely room, very comfortable bed and great shower.
Lots of advice and local information given upon arrival
Great location and the cheap parking is a massive bonus
- Elizabeth (8/5): Good location & very nice budget hotel - Spotlessly clean room & bathroom.
Great to have parking too.
Very helpful staff. The butchers next door were working from about 5am and were v noisy. But unfortunately that’s not the property’s fault!!
- Adam (10/5): - Lovely one night stay in The Regent, nice size rooms that were clean and location is great for getting around Rye. Lovely staff!
- Joseph (10/5): Reasonable prices and well thought-out rooms. Excellent stay. - The price was very reasonable, so our expectations were very reasonable as well. However, we were really impressed with the quality and practicality of the fittings in the room. Small touches, such as wireless chargers on the bedside tables, an excellent shower, contactless lighting in the bathroom. Someone has clearly thought about how guests would use the rooms and designed things to enhance the experience. Everything was clean and pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked everything. The building doesn't look particularly attractive from outside, but that stopped mattering the instant we were inside.
- Sarah (4/5): Location was good for visiting Rye but lack of sleep due to comfort and quality. - The accommodation was clean and in a great location, close to the high street. The room was much smaller than the photos suggested. The bed was very uncomfortable, as were the pillows that were lumpy.
The room was overpriced for the size and overall comfort and quality.
- Juliann (10/5): I would stay here again and recomment this hotel to others. - The Regent Rye was an excellent choice of stays. The room and bathroom were so incredibly clean and comfortable as well as spacious for 2 people. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location is in the town center and perfectly located near attractions, shops, restaurants, and the train station. When damp, the towels smelled a bit sour.
- Rodica (8/5): -
- Kerim (9/5): -
- Suzanne (8/5): Basic room and facilities but provided comfort in central Rye. - Central location yet quiet even at Christmas time. Good parking. Friendly welcome. All basic facilities in room and comfy bed. Rear entrance poorly lit and unstaffed. On leaving no one was available to speak to or hand key too.
- Rachel (8/5): - Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. Not a fault of the hotel but there was a lot of noise outside from 7am. It was a week day...
- mark (7/5): -
- Oliver (9/5): -
- Tia (8/5): - Location, on site parking Nothing we didn't like.
- Katie (10/5): Very clean, great location and friendly staff. - Very clean, lovely staff and great location for town.
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Teresa (9/5): Excellent from arrival to departure - Rye is a beautiful place and everything with to pkan
- Shelley (10/5): -
- cleo (9/5): Great accomodation, great town. - Room and location are really good. Staff friendly and helpful. We were advised that there was no need to book parking at extra charge on the nights we stayed- very generous.
Rye us a wonderful place to visit - lots to do, see and lots of places to eat. Lovely cinema in town.
This hotel is near everything. Highly recommend. Nothing to dislike
- Douglas (8/5): -
- Clare (9/5): Great location, parking, helpful staff. - Location, decor, attention to detail.
- Helen (9/5): A real find - room was spotless and smartly decorated . - Central location .
- bornagainbiker52 (10/5): Overnight visit to Rye - Small motel with parking at rear conveniently located in centre of Rye, Staff were friendly and welcoming, room was very clean great spot from which to explore this quaint town. Nothing at all.
- christine (8/5): Lovely relaxing one night stay for a couple of days in the historic town. Left luggage after checko - Proximity to the station and easy access to the rest of Rye. Cafés/restaurants etc nearby for breakfast. Light and airy rooms Stairs were a bit problematic for older people but we coped.
- Amy (7/5): -
- Sidney (10/5): -
- Amy (8/5): -
- Dodson (8/5): Great place to stay - Really friendly staff and very accommodating. Very clean. Snacks if you needed any. Comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Maybe just a little bit cold. The bathroom window had been left open to let fresh air in, but we couldn't get back to close it, so it was a little cold when we got back. Maybe a thick blanket for those odd colder days in the autumn. Otherwise, great.
- Caren (10/5): We will def be back! - Clean, tidy and great location
- Pip (9/5): -
- Simone (9/5): -
- Fiona (8/5): Great accommodation in the heart of Rye. - Lovely clean room with everything we needed for a one night stay. Friendly and helpful staff. The room looked onto a main road so there was some traffic noise.
- Sonia (8/5): Confort dans un charmant village. - Chambre très confortable et bien aménagée. Chambre sur la rue donc un peu bruyant.
- Arthur (9/5): Geweldig en super toegankelijk! - De kamer Nvt
- Zuzanna (7/5): -
- Julie (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay - Great location. Clean, nicely decorated room. Parking at rear. Nothing
- Annette (7/5): -
- Adele (9/5): Lovely unexpected stopover in the quaint village of Rye. Great restaurants, interesting shops and easy to explore. - Conveniently situated to explore. Parking at the property and staff friendly and helpful.
- Valerie (8/5): Lovely rooms, in an ideal location for visiting Rye - The property was ideally situated for visiting the town of Rye. The rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful
- Andrew (9/5): -
- andrew (9/5): Beautiful medieval stop over. - You’re right in the centre of Rye; only a short distance to everything you’d wish to see in this beautiful olde town. The room was comfortable, modern and clean. The parking option also takes away any worries you may have, perfect. A lovely overnight stay. Happy.
- Wendy (10/5): Great weekend in Rye. - Clean, friendly staff, great location.
Recommend booking parking space at hotel for £7 per night.
- Ivan (9/5): -
- Theresa (8/5): The accommodation was suitable for our stay in Rye. The staff were excellent - This is a Motel and does not offer breakfast. The room was basic and clean and comfortable. It was situated in a busy road opposite a car park but near a supermarket and restaurants N/A
- patrizia (8/5): Camera accogliente in posizione eccellente - Posizione eccellente, stanza accogliente e confortevole. Host molto disponibile e gentile. Possibilità di prenotare parcheggio privato.
- Amanda (9/5): -
- Alex (10/5): - Good location N/A
- Annalisa (8/5): Very comfortable and clean accom. - Comfy and clean, great location. A little pricey for what it was, though I guess we were there in high season…
- Elena (7/5): -
- Danielle (10/5): - Staff are lovely and really helpful! Also perfect location and only a short walk to main high street.
- Lindsay (8/5): -
- Linda (6/5): Disappointing and overpriced - Facilities in the room were very good - nice touches like robes provided. Staff were very welcoming and efficient Sadly, the location is noisy, not just from the traffic on a surprisingly busy road, but also the bar below. It does close quite early, but it was warm during our stay and we were directly above where people were sitting at tables on the street from quite early in the day. Too hot to close the windows. Felt rather overpriced as a result - the rooms are priced for a ‘boutique’ market, but the back street entrance is shabby and the bar is very noisy - there was also a smelly portable burger bar just outside our room for several hours
- Kathy (4/5): - No one was at the property, even though we checked out in their “ Working hours”. We walked around guessing where to drop off the key.
- Susan (6/5): Good location to town but not a good nights sleep due to a very uncomfortable mattress. - New bathroom & honesty supplies a good idea. The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress seemed to be old with a dip in the middle, so didn’t get a good nights sleep.
- Madushan (6/5): -
- Derek (10/5): - Great location, twins bed, clean
- Johanna (9/5): -
- Alan (9/5): - Clean and comfortable and well situated
- Jennifer (8/5): Well equipped room. Rather have a mug than a small cup and saucer. Very little space for suit cases. - Good location. Room access ie reception and stairs rather scruffy. Room rather noisy road side. Car parking charged for which adds another £7 per night. Actually we didn’t need it, but just another add on.
- Maria-Cecilia (8/5): Good overnight stay - Staff very friendly, excellent location The price could have been lower
- mokta (10/5): -
- Tomoko (10/5): -
- Ulrike (10/5): Rye ist ein zauberhafter Ort und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. - Es war alles ganz toll, so dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen möchten. nichts
- Ragnhild (8/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Good location and friendly - Convenience to town center. Triplemroom
Fab. Nothing
- Valerie (8/5): - Room was very nice and clean. Very close to the center of Rye by walking and with parking. All night the noise coming from a split unit ac outside our window.
- Philomena (9/5): -
- Jessica (9/5): Super comfortable would highly recommend - Room was really cute, great facilities. Big windows, had a hair dryer and a tea set up! Staff were so friendly, let us check in early! Lovely area! Only thing it could have done with if I had to pick something, is a small fridge. However it didn’t impact the trip!
- Charlotte (10/5): Great room, great location - Lovely clean room, great location, friendly staff Nothing to not like
- Anneliese (8/5): -
- Annette (8/5): Geen gezellige locatie - Schoon Het lawaai van de doorgaande weg en het lawaai van het cafetaria onder onze kamer.
- Alkesh (10/5): Great central location in Rye - Great location, super clean and very friendly staff especially Sophie and Freya who had top tips to do in the area and made us very welcome. Nothing
