- Zoe (10/5): Perfect stay - The whole stay from start to finish was perfect Alot of thought has gone into the decor and the comfort of the clients ,room was very spacious and clean ,Owners were really chatty and friendly,amazing breakfast choice too . Rooms were quiet with hardly any outside noise due to new windows ,lovely views and close to Betw-y-coed. Lovely walk by the river just over the road ,highly recommended.

Everything was perfect: spotless, comfortable room, great shower, delicious Welsh breakfast, easy walk to town, available books and maps, teapot and biscuits in the room, and great WIFI. Heartily recommend!!

You could go walking right across the road to a bridge and waterfall. Very lovely place! It was the nicest B&B around; you could tell! We will definitely book again if we are ever in this area again!

The walk into the town was around 10/15 minutes and the bus stop to Pen-Y-Pass car park for the Pyg/Miners track was literally just outside the door - £7 each return. Overall a great B&B and will definitely return in the near future. Lee

Ensuites spacious with efficient showers and a really good supply of bathroom accessories. Excellent breakfast. Within reasonable walking distance of eateries for evening meals. Jeanette and Steve friendly and helpful. Would certainly be first port of call if we visit North Wales again.

Jeanette and Steve were wonderful hosts, advising where to eat when we arrived late, and fuelling us up with the best choice of breakfast’s in a very long time. - Matthew (10/5): - I've been visiting Betws-y-Coed for a number of years, usually choosing to camp, however I thought I'd try Oakfield House as a place to rest my weary legs after climbing Snowdon. I'm glad that I did! I was warmly welcomed by both Steve and Jeanette to their lovely inviting B&B. The room was perfect for my needs being a great size and clean. The location is a short walk into the village either alongside the road or along the river (highly recommend - thanks Steve) and has plenty of space to safely park your car. The following morning I was served a lovely Welsh Breakfast with filter coffee and this was alongside a continental buffet. I'd definitely recommend staying here and will look to book a family room once I can encourage my 8yr twin girls into 'walking up a hill'. Thank you Steve and Jeanette!

Breakfasts are a magnificent feast! With a superbly cooked breakfast, vast choice of cereals, seeds, nuts, fresh fruit of the season, dinky bottles of milk, apple & orange juice, fresh yoghurt, toast-a-plenty to quality percolated coffee. Rooms are fastidiously clean, very well appointed! Plenty of parking. Oakfield House Bed & Breakfast is the best of the very, very best!! Thank you very much Jeanette and Steve.

All facilities you need were present and everything had been well thought out. We walked to Swallow falls, the forest and the ‘ugly house’ and managed a trip to zip world and Snowdon. It seemed close to loads of things to do so will be returning with the grandchildren. To the rear is large car park where you will find a key safe to enter the property and your room ( What an excellent idea) you can turn up anytime day or night without disturbing anyone. When we entered the room we both thought wow the place was spotless clean and tidy like home from home. 10 minutes in and Jeanette came in to introduce herself and tell us about breakfast, and the local restaurants and bars, what a lovely warm friendly person. After a comfortable nights sleep we went for breakfast, the choice for breakfast was excellent with cereals, fruits, yogurts etc, full English even salmon. ( Stephen did the cooking) good chef. The tables had tablecloths and proper napkins. We stayed a week and Jeanette and Stephen couldn’t do enough for us. You don’t need an information centre Jeanette is a fountain of knowledge. We felt more like friends than guests and would recommend this B& B to anyone. Thank you Jeanette and Stephen for a wonderful week at your B&B. Danny and Barbara. (Croydon).

The bag was filled with enough food (lovely sandwich according to our taste, fruits, snacks, juice and even yogurt. This certainly helped us on our hike to Snowdon. Following day we had lovely breakfast and great discussion. We had 2 rooms booked for our family and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. - Christine (10/5): Perfect stay! - We stopped off at Oakfield on our way to Caernarfon. On arrival we were made really welcome and invited into the dining room for a pot of tea and welsh cakes. The room was comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Excellent breakfast. Perfect stay!
- Dave (10/5): - Fantastic stay. Excellent service, friendly, clean and very welcoming. Bright, modern room with great view and bed was so comfy! Superb breakfast in the morning. Key safe was a great idea too.
- Rene (10/5): Amazing Guest House - Beautiful Location - What a great place!! Could not have been more pleased with either the room or the location. Owners were so warm and friendly. Very efficient, helpful and kind. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. House is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Excellent cooked breakfasts. Lots of choices, all delicious. Location is amazing. Easy parking in adjacent lot. The whole area is beautiful. Great walks just across the street and longer more serious walks begin in town. Town is picturesque and full of little shops and great restaurants. Idyllic, really.

- D J (10/5): Worth seeking out - Nice too see that under new ownership the quality has improved if anything (and it was already good). Some really nice attention to detail like safety guards on all electrical plugs. An offer to drive me into town was unexpected but welcome.
- PETER (10/5): An excellent B&B - I stayed only one night, but it was memorable for the warmth of the welcome, the standard of the accommodation and the quality of the breakfast. I was made to feel very much at home by my hosts, the en-suite room was both comfortable and extremely well-appointed, and the traditional Welsh breakfast was first class - I even had a view from the table of Welsh lambs frolicking in a nearby field! I'll certainly be looking for an excuse to visit here again.

- janet (10/5): Great B&B - We were met by B&B owner on arrival and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The whole building is immaculate and well maintained. Our room was lovely with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice. Overall nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly staff and well informed of the local area.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Booked online in the early evening, arriving 10 minutes+- thereafter; pleased to see the house's handsome stone facade in the diminishing light, and the large car park area for our rental vehicle. Our husban-wife hosts were out walking their dog, arriving home just in time to greet us. She escorted us immediately to our room, inquiring about our needs, discussing our options for breakfast the next day. The room was nicely-maintained/clean (as was the entire building, inside), well-equipped, it being on the smaller side, but, sufficient. Everything was supplied that one would expect in a B. & B, including a coffee/tea set-up, bath toiletries and sufficient towels, working tv, little notes to the guest, etc., as well as the bonus of a small waterfall across the st. in the wooded walking/hiking path (where we walked the following morning). It was a quiet night overall, despite our room facing the main road through town (the house has thick walls ,and the draperies blocked out the light and any potential street noise). The breakfast room is spacious/attractive, filled with light, and nicely decorated with newer accoutrements. There were fresh fruit bowls on a buffet table; numerous cereals were within reach. She was there, waiting for our warm meal requests, making certain that my special food needs were met. We chit-chatted some with her, and another guest couple. Though the mattress in our room could have offered better support. Overall, it was a great experience!
