- drmichellep2025 (10/5): Tito is Tops at HIE!! - What could have been a stressful check-in turned into one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a long time. We’re in town for our kids’ graduation weekend (which is already a whirlwind), and I realized I had booked the wrong date. Cue instant panic. But Tito at the front desk handled it with incredible professionalism, kindness, and grace. And here’s the thing—he wasn’t just standing behind a desk. He was actively managing shuttle drop-offs, pick-ups, and helping multiple guests at once, yet somehow still made us feel like we were the only people there. He fixed our reservation, found us a room, and never once made us feel foolish for the mistake. Instead, he made us feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for—which matters, especially as longtime IHG Hotels & Resorts members. Our room is lovely, comfortable, and exactly what we needed at the end of a very long day. But honestly? The real reason we’d come back in a heartbeat is Tito. Exceptional customer service turns a stay into an experience—and Tito delivered exactly that. Thank you for making a hectic day end on such a high note.

- Tregoning (4/5): Wasn't worth the money. - Didn't have breakfast there. The elevator was broken and having to drag bag up stairs. We should have been offered to be relocated, either to the first floor or another hotel. Neither of us are supposed to be going up and down stairs!!
- GRAHAM (5/5): Wouldn’t recommend staying there again - Location Elevator didn’t work and we had to carry all Our luggage up to the 4th floor. They charged a $50 incident fee to my card that was supposed to be refunded at the end of the stay and a week later it’s still being charged to my card even though we left the room clean, tidy and didn’t have any charges.

We cannot do stairs easily due to personal injuries and definitely not carry luggage up. They grudgingly had their shuttle driver taken our luggage up. Then the bed was just uncomfortable. Overall for 1 night it was aweful. Plus we booked the place for our return trip...not happy about that either! Everything. No elevator , bad bed.

- Frances Lee (8/5): Nice economical choice - This location is excellent for a one night stay near the St. Louis Lambert airport. Though the room lacked any additional seating besides the desk chair, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ample but fruit beyond apples would be nice. Safe area and they offer shuttle service to a few local restaurants and facilities which is a nice feature.

When we left and came back the two staff members upfront were providing us cookies and having great conversation with me. The last day we left i asked for some tissues and the kind women upfront provided a box for my fiance in the car for her allergies. This place was very quiet and homy, ill definitely stay again moving forward! Give everyone raises there!!!

The room is great with snacks and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby area. Things are clean, the bed is comfortable, the area is quiet.I appreciate the free breakfast and the shuttle to rhe airport tomorrow morning.

- CRFjockey (4/5): I wouldn't choose to stay again. - Ignore the picture provided of the king-size room. The only chair provided to guests in this hotel is the old desk chair. This is a one-person room! I recently spent two weeks at this hotel and this became a big deal to me. Ignore the picture of the beautiful pool on the Google listing. The pool at this property was dry, and the windows were all painted black, so you can't see through them. (We peered through a small hole in the paint in the exercise room to see if there really was a pool there. Yep, but empty.) If you don't need a pool or a second place to sit, this hotel was, in all other aspects, a fine place to stay. Although some in my group reported extremely slow internet speeds, mine was fine. The bed, pillows, shower, and breakfast were all good.

- 502monical (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - This was our first time staying at the holiday in select airport. The lobby entrance was very nice. The desk clerk on duty, Harry, was great! We arrived late but Harry was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were wonderful. Very clean, thank you Mercedes and well appointed with s mini fridge and microwave. Upgrading for the jacuzzi was worth it. The bed/pillows were very comfortable. All in all we would certainly stay there again.

Really nice and professional. Had to drop a rental off which ended up being right up the street- bonus! He insisted in having me picked up by the hotel shuttle. It was only a couple of blocks and I needed to walk. Immediately upon my return, he scheduled an airport shuttle for first thing in the morning. Much appreciated, Harry! As for the hotel- very clean, spacious and comfortable amenities. Surprisingly, though outside of the hotel is a bit hustle and bustleI, I honestly experienced a very quiet stay with minimal airport noise. You have to be realistic- after all the airport is directly across the highway. No problems here. Being I travel for work and stay at IHGs, I’d rate this Holiday Inn a solid 5 outta 5. - Teresa (2/5): Cockroachs - When checking in there was a rather large cockroach in the middle of the lobby. After finishing that process the elevator was said to be broken and no assistance was able to be had with our bags. When entering the room it smelled terrible. The carpet seemed to be newer yet the smell was apparent because a car air freshener was in the air conditioner. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and hard along with the pillows. I had left a cup at the front desk and called for someone to bring up blankets and my cup if possible, there was no one to do either. Again, the elevator was broken as well. My spouse and I had a very early flight and both woke up to take showers to prepare for our day, the shower knob was broken and the water was ice cold or scalding hot. Upon our return from vacation we called the number provided to send the shuttle to pick us up. 20 minutes after calling and no shuttle I called back to find out the shuttle wasn’t dispatched and the information we were told of the meeting point was not even possible. After 45 minutes of waiting the shuttle arrived and the strong smell of marijuana filled the vehicle. The man did not offer to even get up and assist us with carrying our bags up into the shuttle. The stay was not cheap for us, and I am a fan of most Holiday Inns. This was an atrocious stay and should be mended. The hotel is within 5 minutes of a very busy airport and has the potential to be a thriving business. Yet at this rate I can assure you no one is stay

The airport shuttle was timely( a short ride) and everyone was nice and helpful . Nice free BF buffet with eggs , toast , potatoes, cinnamon buns , assorted fresh fruit and homemade oatmeal . Also , my king bed room was very large and the bathroom looked new .

My brother has bursitis in his knee which went septic last year and he nearly died. I have arthritis in me knee. Stayed one of our two nights but between the hotel, Orbitz and the insurance company we bought trip insurance from no one will refund me for our second night. I am done with Holiday Inn Express and Orbitz.

- Holly (8/5): - Only thing I didlike is with hig hotels miss the comfortable rooms & price but slso see how they are cheap with towrls, they are chinzy. Breakfast miss their signature biscuits n gravy. For the price we pay we get jipped in service. Upgrade or no upgrade. Utensils sre cheap too. Guess I better look for a better hotel with higher standards.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - We chose this hotel because of the shuttle service to the airport. The way there was good. Now the pickup and way back from the airport was awful. We waited for over 30 minutes to be picked up in the freezing snow and ice. All other hotels and properties had multiple shuttles picking up people every couple minutes. Not this one. Ruined the whole experience. Especially after arriving back from having a surgery done and stuck outside in the snow/ice.

- seejaybee87 (10/5): Outstanding Staff! - We ended up stranded in St Louis for a couple of days due to a snowstorm. Every member of the staff was so kind and helpful! We had no luggage, since it was stuck on a plane, and the hotel shuttle took us to a nearby Dollar General to get clothes and supplies. I was so grateful to everyone who we interacted with our entire stay. When I mentioned all of this to the manager, he gave kudos to his staff, and took no credit himself. Which demonstrates what a great manager he is. In addition to the staff, the hotel was very clean, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the coffee was really, really good!
- Moss (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - The staff was very friendly and helpful. We utilized the shuttle to and from the airport with no issues. We landed at 11:30pm on our return flight. We called the hotel and the shuttle was there with hardly any wait time. When we got to our room we were tired and ready for bed but the room next door was having a party and going strong. The desk immediately got us a new room and handled the situation very professionally. The rooms are clean, the beds was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. Really only have good things to say about this hotel.

- kwQ9178GC (10/5): Modern hotel, GREAT staff - The whole experience was great. Everything from friendly staff to the clean and modern room I stayed in. It was, I believe, one of the most up-to-date Holiday Inn Expresses that I’ve ever been to. The thing that made me write this was just how incredibly friendly the staff was. The front desk at checkin, to telling me “have a great day” everyday when I left for work, to the person checking me out being super quick and asking me how my stay was. I asked why my name wasn’t on their board they have for members who check in. The person immediately not only apologized, but also gave me a couple bottles of water and let me spin from their prize wheel they had. I was so impressed with the level of dedication to customer satisfaction that I needed to write this. Even the guy working in the breakfast room was really friendly. I would recommend to anyone staying near the St. Louis airport just because of the staff
