There was a lovely restaurant connected to the hotel that made breakfast easy. The food was very good. My husband and I found the staff to be somewhat distant. They did not feel welcoming.

When we arrived late in the evening, they came outside assist us with the luggage. This was a great help, as we had a family member with mobility issues. They were the best staff I encountered at a hotel! The room was a little too warm for me. The breakfasts had a great variety. However, if you went later for breakfast, the fried eggs and egg dishes did not look the freshest.

The hotel is lovely but is situated in a run down area with graffiti everywhere.this doesn't detract from your stay but be aware it's not in a picturesque location Download the bolt taxi app.it cost us £8 from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the main square was £2. The hotel inside is lovely,modern and very clean. When we arrived we received a room upgrade and our room was fabulous. It was huge and with the biggest bathroom we have ever seen with huge bath and walk in shower and 2 sinks. Shampoo, conditioner, hand wash & hand cream are all supplied.we didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. Pros.. Good location Modern hotel Cons..all hotels 4 star and above need to have signs in the corridors for guests to respect other guests and to be quiet in hallways.also there needs to be signs on every door to close your door quietly. As other reviews have stated some rude guests do not observe hotel etiquette and can be kept awake by shouting and slamming doors. The hotel receptionists were all very stern and not one of them smiled once. I expect more from a 4 star hotel and to be made to feel welcome. I went to the desk to ask for help to check in on the Ryan Air app as I was having issues and the response I got from Gabriel? was and I quote..what would you like me to do about it !!!! In a stern manner.when I replied curtly her attitude changed. Your staff work in hospitality and a smile and willingness to help goes a long way and is expected. All in all we had a nice stay and loved the room we were in.

- kirstwellens (8/5): Comfortable and fairly clean - We stayed here for 2 nights, in a triple room: 1 adult, 2 teens. The hotel is in a great location - close enough to walk to many places and explore. The room cleanliness wasn't the greatest: other people's wrappers under the beds.. bathroom could do with a better clean. First world issues: the hairdryer would only work for the first 4 mins or so, then it'd stop. You could see the internal wires! I didn't report it in person (everyone seemed busy/stressed) but I wrote a note about it on the evaluation sheet. Toiletries included shower gel, hand soap, and shower caps. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment. The kids only ate a dessert in the restaurant, which was nice. I took advantage of the happy hour cocktail menu and it was good - taste and value. No idea what the restaurant is like. Our room was facing internally, 4th floor so no street noise. The noise inside the hotel was a bit much - people speaking loudly and banging doors morning/late at night. Not really 4 star for the sound proofing. Overall it was comfortable but I think for the price, it could have been better.

- Leanne (9/5): We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel. - The room was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants close by and an easy walk into the main square. The menu in the restaurant was the worse part of the hotel. The options were very limited and there was nothing for children to eat. The restaurant itself was very pleasant however the evening and lunchtime menus were very limited.

- RandGCumbria (6/5): Persistent Odour, Poor Follow-Through - I was disappointed with my stay due to an ongoing issue with a strong fusty smell in the room. I reported it to reception and I was told the hotel was fully booked. I was assured that an air “oscillator” or purifier would be placed in the room while I went out to dinner, which seemed like a reasonable temporary solution. However, when I returned later that evening, nothing had been done. The smell remained just as noticeable. I was advised to keep the windows open, despite already explaining that I had done exactly that throughout the previous night with no improvement. Even after being out all day with the windows left open, I came back to the same persistent odour. It had a damp, musty quality—like carpets that had been recently cleaned but not properly dried. Overall, the lack of follow-through and ineffective handling of the issue made the stay quite uncomfortable. I understand that hotels can be fully booked, but I would have expected more proactive effort to resolve or at least mitigate the problem.

- hannahhK648IY (4/5): Great Location, But Noise and Cleanliness Ruined Our Stay - We’ve stayed at the Metropolitan Boutique Hotel in Kraków a few years ago and had a fantastic experience, which made us excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit has been very disappointing, and it feels like the hotel has declined significantly since our last stay. The only thing that has remained consistently good is the central location—it’s ideal for exploring the city. The staff are also mostly present and appear to be working hard, although they often seem too busy to engage or address issues. However, cleanliness has been a real concern this time. One of our rooms had a strong damp smell, and in another, we even found a bogey on the wall, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 4-star. The biggest issue by far has been the noise. It has completely ruined our trip. Hotel etiquette seems non-existent—guests shouting in corridors, doors constantly slamming, and loud music thumping from rooms. Noise seems to briefly settle around midnight, only to start again at 5am. If you’re unlucky enough to have a room at the front of the hotel, you can forget about sleeping altogether due to traffic, people outside, and even the rubbish collection early in the morning. We chose not to complain during our stay, mainly because the staff always seemed overwhelmed, and we were only returning to the room to try and sleep—which we increasingly dreaded due to the conditions. We also didn’t want to risk moving rooms, as we were located just next door but one from other people in our party, and there was no guarantee we would be placed near them again, which was important to us. The rooms themselves are also uncomfortable and poorly set up. In one room, what appeared to be a double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, and the duvet was essentially just a single duvet sheet folded over, which provided very little comfort or warmth. The mattress is extremely hard, while the pillows are overly soft—but not in a good way. There is a fridge, but it’s packed full of paid items, leaving no space for your own things, which is inconvenient. Overall, this no longer feels like a boutique 4-star hotel—more like a hostel in terms of noise and atmosphere. Sadly, it has lost us as returning customers. That said, this may not be every guest’s experience, particularly depending on the behaviour of others staying at the hotel during your visit. However, as someone with high standards and based on our previous stay, this experience fell well below expectations. Hopefully improvements can be made, as this hotel clearly has the potential to be great again.

- Rodrigues (9/5): Un très bel hôtel - Les personnel est très agréable et aux petits soins pour les clients. Les chambres sont superbes mais elles manquent de insonorisation. Nous entendions le bruit dans les couloirs et parfois le bruit dans les chambres voisines.

- davidcV1660LL (10/5): Family Stay on Trip to Krakow - We stayed at the hotel for two nights at the end of March, a family of six visiting Auschwitz and the Salt Mines. Hotel location is excellent and just a short walk to Krakow square. The rooms were clean and tidy. We had dinner in the restaurant on Thursday 26th March, the food and service were both excellent. The staff at reception were always attentive and so were the staff in the restaurant and bar. We would recommend this hotel 100%.

- Jose (6/5): Todo bien salvo un detalle bastante feo. - El hotel estaba bastante bien No me gustó que realizaran una carga en la tarjeta nada más llegar al hotel alegando que se trataba de una fianza y luego te la compensarán diciendo que una mini botella de vino que habían dejado junto con el té y el café gratuito finalmente era de pago y no se trataba de una atención al cliente como parecía y finalmente tampoco entregarán una factura justificando dicho gasto.

In bagno e vicino ai letti sarebbero utili delle prese elettriche. Sarebbe stata utile una crema per il corpo tra i prodotti a disposizione in bagno.

We've just come back from a 4 night stay, an excellent quiet location, friendly efficient staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Only ate in the hotel on our last night but wished we tried it sooner, the food was amazing.

Restaurant was delicious also the breakfast choice was very good . Lovely peaceful hotel and with a four star rating you can’t go wrong here. Room was excellent also.
