Guest Reviews
- Leon (10/5): Great stay - Absolutely loved it
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice place, couple of things could make it better - Overall we liked the location and the staff were friendly. It was nice to be in the rice paddies and see the local ducks. We enjoyed our stay in Ubud and were close enough to go to spas and restaurants without being in the hustle of it.
However there were a couple of things that could have made the accommodation experience better:
1) on our second-to-last night the AC had a terrible smell (I’m not sure if it was related to the rain, but we first noticed when we came back to the room after a downpour). We couldn’t keep the AC on without smelling it. We let the staff know. On the first night we were able to get some incense to help with the smell but it was not a good sleep. The next day it was still smelly and we let the reception know again - they did a clean and sprayed one of those horrible Glade air fresheners on it. In the end we couldn’t use the AC which wasn’t ideal for getting a good sleep on the last night.
2) the breakfast was nice but for us (being gluten and dairy free) some of the options like bakery pastries weren’t suitable. Not a big deal, but it was a little annoying when we asked for a minor alteration like adding an egg to the Bihan Goreng for this to be a fuss and charged extra (it was a small cost, just annoying, especially as there were so many things we weren’t eating from the breakfast (waffles etc)
- Michael (10/5): - People are complaining about the golf cart but it’s literally a 60 second drive, you could walk for 5 minutes if you prefer and the walk is pretty.
- Sevasti (10/5): - Loved our stay here, was our first visit to Bali. I have never met so many nice and friendly people very accommodating and always there to help . Will definately visit again.
- Jiechuang (10/5): - Great service and friendly staff.
- philip (10/5): - The staff were super nice and friendly. The care and attention they bring to us was top notch. The food was great especially dinner with the romantic option for my wife. The bathroom that connects to the outdoor is an interesting concept if you like to connect with nature. Overall a great experience.
- Jonatha (10/5): - Padi Villas is a gem in Ubud! Our room overlooked rice fields and was so peaceful. All the staff were so lovely and attentive. The food was excellent. We also used the spa and had massages, body scrubs and herbal/flower petal baths. All at the hotel, so extremely convenient. But when you’re ready to explore, there is a super cool path through the rice fields to a great street in Ubud. Definitely eat at Naughty Nuri’s for an authentic experience. And got to Dharma Cafe. We also ate at Orbit which was yummy. Go to Neka Art Museum too which is across from Nuri’s. Will definitely come back to Padi Villas. Simply amazing!
- Glen (10/5): - The property and our room was excellent. The staff and their service levels were outstanding and they helped meet our needs in a timely manner. The staff were very friendly and helpful
- Zita (10/5): - Beautiful property. Small with very friendly staff. Great service and food. Good location overlooking rice paddies. Golf cart to take us from the property to the shuttle pick up area.
- David (10/5): - The perfect getaway.
- Latrice (10/5): - Great property. Friendly staff, clean, organized, and very accommodating.
- Rita (10/5): - The property is only accessible by golf cart or bike, makes the location quiet, which was nice. The rooms are excellent with great views of rice fields and a private pool. Staff was amazing!
- Wendi (10/5): - Ubud Padi Villas was a idyllic beautiful place to stay in Ubud. The staff was great im accommodating our needs. The food was excellent and the floating breakfast is a must. We had both a valley view and rice padi view room and we nejoyed both but the rice padi view was really great!
- David (8/5): - The property is beautiful, although the rice field was a cross a road. So the view of the rice field from our Villa was not what I thought when I saw the on line pictures.
The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and they gave us a welcome cake which was a nice touch.
The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is the location. You had to be picked up by a golf cart from the drop zone since the villas were further down inside and only driveable by golf cart or Motor cycle. This to me was a bit of a hassle especially for my driver to find. I had to send him a picture of where the drop zone was located.
- Esther (2/5): - Worst experience. Hotel was bad. I was bitten by ants and had an allergic reaction.
- Suki (10/5): - Love the private pool, outdoor hot tub, amazing staff service.
- Patsy (10/5): - Great place to stay, amazing friendly staff, shuttle provided daily if you want to visit Ubud city…….having a private pool was fabulous, you also have the choice to use larger pool near reception area………
- Oscar (8/5): - Padi Villas was as described and presented on the site - accurately described.
The villa was private and we loved the outdoor/open air feel of the shower and bathroom area, of the private pool and gazebo was fabulous!
The staff were very courteous and attentive, service was quick and attentive. Menu could have been a bit more extensive....and maybe priced a bit less. Food quality was good. The 24 hour golf cart at your disposal was great. However, the shuttle service to the city was only 3 times a day, this could be improved.....say every 2-3 hours or so - since there is not much to do around the villas. Overall, we really loved this place & will definitely consider returning.
- Joseph (10/5): A Beautiful Place to Stay When in Ubud - A beautiful place to stay while in Ubud. The inner courtyard is a beautiful garden setting with an outdoor dining area. We had a riverview villa which offered a personal plunge pool and its patio area was totally private to everyone else around us. The staff were great and transportation in and out to the road was easily arranged. There was a free shuttle that would take you right to downtown Ubud and pick you back up again. Their breakfast cost was higher than expected, so when the opportunity allowed, we rode the shuttle into Ubud centre and had it there rather than paying the price that they were charging. We stayed for four nights and loved it especially the plunge pool annd open air shower.
- Amy (10/5): - absolutely amazing . beautiful property and rooms . beautiful gardens well kept and incredibly hospitable and attentive staff . absolutely will be back
- tiffany (8/5): - Great Customer service
Great hospitality

Safe
- Tess (10/5): - My partner and I stayed here for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer! This place was amazing!! It was secluded enough to feel like we were in the middle of the padis, but it was only a short car ride from the main streets of Ubud. The staff was phenomenal, super friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home here. The villas are gorgeous, the beds are comfortable and the pools are stunning (we had rice field view). Cannot recommend the in home breakfast enough. Just don’t forget some bug spray for your trip to Ubud!
- David Jason (10/5): - The rice field views were majestic, access to own swimmingbpool was phenomenal, the staff were fantastic.
- Eliane (6/5): - I’ve booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday, which I’ve pre planned with reservation to ensure everything was done properly.
Unfortunately the communication was very poor, with misunderstandings that are very annoying, I’ve booked 3 full days - so an early check in and a late check out - so we could do the hotel activities, but the communication didn’t get passed across and we didn’t have anywhere to stay in a very hot day.
On my husband’s birthday the breakfast was somehow messed up, leaving my husband with an empty tray for his floating breakfast.
It is set on the beautiful rice fields, which unfortunately is exactly where our private swimming pool was, no giving any privacy and with people working in the fields, it made us feel guilty for being there, guess that was my issue more than hotel’s but is worth to keep it in mind.
The staff was friendly but I would not recommend due to the problems we had.
- Madeleine (10/5): Fantastic!!! - One of our all time favorite stays! We absolutely loved staying at Ubud Padi Villas. The villa was even more beautiful than the photos. The private pool was luxurious. The price was amazing. The indoor outdoor bathroom made us want to move to a climate where we could have this at home! The massages were literally the best we have ever had. But by far the best part of staying here was the hospitality of the staff!! We have never experienced service like this. We arrived on my husbands birthday but didn’t mention or think much of it. The check in team noticed on his passport that it was his birthday and later dropped off a cake to our villa and sang him happy birthday!! That was just the start- every single thing we needed the staff were so happy to accommodate. Every person we interacted with was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had the best stay and can’t wait to be back. If you’re looking for where to stay in Ubud, look no further!
- Lynette M (10/5): - Great place to stay for 5 days. Had villa with rice fields view. Very pretty plus interesting. Actually very quiet apart from the occasional bike as no vehicle access.
Gardens lovely and staff fantastic. Spa and massages excellent. Plus a 15-20 minute walk to lots of cafes and shops.
- Benjamin (6/5): - Over rated. Drop off zone across the street on a busy street. Some noise behind the villa until 8:00 p.m. rice field is obstructed by overgrown plant. For the price, better choices other places.
- Satyaprakash (10/5): - Staff was excellent and made the stay comfortable, quiet place for a relaxation if you want to stay away from all the noise . Good food and affordable menu. Private pool facing rice fields was awesome!
- Adam (10/5): Slice of Heaven - Above and beyond amazing service! We stayed around Bali during our trip and this was by far our favorite. The staff were all so friendly and kind. The food was spectacular. We will stay here every time we return to Bali without a doubt!
- OlindaR (10/5): - This place was truly extraordinary! The staff was extremely nice, the villas were amazing, food was incredible and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to plan a vacation in Bali! A dream stay and experience :)
- Tarnz (10/5): - Amazing villa very private and relaxing. Would stay again and for longer great service from staff and location in ubud
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely hotel with amazing views of the rice fields ; my family loved it! True to pictures the amenities were great. Only thing is park at the top of the road - and call front desk for a buggy to come get you . Difficult to locate but that is just Ubud for you . Thankyou !
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff was amazing however the room did not have enough light, food was alright. My room was suppose to come with breakfast but staff said I didn't have that option so started off being unpleasant with having to call Expedia .
- Rachel (10/5): Wonderful, peaceful villa in Ubud! - Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff and romantic, relaxing environment!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Private villas, each with their own private pool, beautiful tropical gardens, a restaurant and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
- Monique (10/5): - Having your own pool and the floating breakfast was amazing with beautiful view 👍
- G. (10/5): - I like the location where it’s hidden and quiet. the food is good. the staff are nice and the room is always clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our private pool was sensational. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent and the villa was clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing villas - Amazing experience. Its so beautiful and service is beyond excellent. Must recommend for couples specially or even families. They take care of every tiny detail. Thank you for a great stay
- T (10/5): - Great views, location and property. Looked amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay here was fantastic. The staff were helpful, friendly and good at offering suggestions, the room service was excellent. The facilities were great! We stayed for 5 nights, however we wished that we had booked for longer. I would love to go back and I intend to visit again.
- Morgan (10/5): - It was a beautiful villa in the quite area of Ubud. Easy to get around on their free golf buggy and shuttle from Ubud centre or just walking through the streets. The room was great and we loved the outdoor shower and pool. Was perfect for our honey moon and first time in Bali
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, private villa. I had a very relaxing holiday.
- PlymptonGardene (8/5): Village of Angels - Ubud Padi Villas is located in the village of Kedewatan, which I am told translates as "Village of Angels". It is set on a lane off JL Raya Lungsiakan. There are 14 villas, 7 either side of a central "garden". The villas all look outwards, half are situated above the lane and overlook ricefields, the remainder are on the opposite side of the garden and overlook a steep valley. The view from the valley villas is limited due to the jungle growth in the valley, but you do get to see lots of squirrels in the trees.
The staff here are wonderful and always willing to help out, nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile on their face. We spent a lot of time sunbathing by our villa's pool, with visits to Ubud for shopping and the occasional meal out.
The sister hotel to Padi Villas (Black Penny Villas) hosts a local dancing group twice a week and you have the opportunity to attend, if you like Balinese dancing (Barong) this is a must as although they may not have the fancy costumes of the semi-professional groups in Ubud there is a lot more emotion in their dance.
We came home tanned and rested and will stay here the next time we visit Bali.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff are really friendly.
The villa isn’t as I expected from photos online, not very well sealed so mosquitos can get in pretty easy.
We had the villa nearest the outdoor reception, we could hear whenever the phone was ringing and people talking and reception which did get annoying seeing as it was meant to be such a peaceful place around the rice fields.
Food was pretty average/bad. We ate in a few times as we were so busy during the days we didn’t have the energy to go find restaraunt to eat at night, most meals were not that bad but I had pork ribs one night which were horrendous. I couldn’t eat any of it, not even sure if it was pork.
Was given milk with our coffees which had expired and actually turned the coffee lumpy when poured into it.
I wouldn’t stay at this villa again.
- Francesca (10/5): Everything amazing, can't wait to come back - We loved everything about our stay; from the lovely welcome in reception to our beautiful villa. We had a one bed villa with a valley outlook and unexpectedly the valley outlook was just as beautiful as the rice fields and felt like you were in another world. The villa was really private which made it romantic and relaxing. The food was incredible (who knew I'd have the best carbonara in Ubud?!), service excellent and wifi was really strong. It's down a long path which they take you by golf buggy and there's a few free shuttles to Ubud centre (15mins) - it would be great if there were a couple of extra free shuttles in the afternoon but it didn't cost much if we paid (70,000RPH)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely getaway - We fell in love with this place 2 years ago and just had to come back. It’s a great hideaway with all the amenities you could possibly need. Food is beautiful and the staff are very lovely. Make sure to check out the spa!
- Mads (10/5): Lovely family getaway - Amazing place. Nice and quiet surroundings. 10 minutes from Ubud with hotel shuttle. Very sweet and helpful staff. We had a lovely stay with an 8 months old baby.
- AJ (10/5): Great hotel with kind friendly hotel staff - Our stay in Ubud Padi villas has been one of our favorite stops, the hotel staff are very welcoming everytime you re-enter, also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is huge and delightful! The hotel is quite and tucked away but with hotel staff assistance it’s very easy to access Ubud town. I would highly recommend to anyone
- Giselle (10/5): Gorgeous View - Took the rice padi fields view, was so beautiful, wanted to wake up somewhere gorgeous the day I turned 30 and this did not disappoint!
- M (6/5): Great for dry season but not during the wet season - We stayed 2 nights at the villa with valley view. The staff was friendly and the room is very nice. However there were problems we encountered as it was the wet season.
1) the open shower means we could not shower when it rains. The alternative is to use the bathtub. But it looks dirty and worse the hot water is not hot at all. Even after running the water for 5 minutes, it is still cold
2) no proper drop off point to take the buggy to bring us to the hotel ( the small lane is not accessible for cars). We got drenched as it was raining heavily at our arrival time
3) there is a flight of stairs to the hotel and is not recommended for those on wheelchair
4) no complimentary shuttle to Ubud central between 11 am to 4 pm . It is quite a far walk to the central from the hotel
5) nice pool but water is too cold for even a dip in the wet season
Plus points are the nice breakfast and the friendly staff. I will recommend staying here during the dry and hot season but not the rainy season
- Verified traveler (10/5): Honeymoon stay 3 Nights-Rice Terrace view 103 - we enjoyed our stay so much and nothing was to much for the staff of Ubud Padi Villas...they bent over backwards and kept on exceeding our expectations day by day...From the Spa treatments to the Food...The views over the Rice terraces..everything was almost as beautiful as the people that work here...passion...commitment...Thank you Agus and Team for making our Honeymoon in Ubud Super special!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - great, staff were friendly, gave us welcome drinks upon arrival
- Chris (10/5): Amazing stay in Ubud - Ubud Padi Villas was AMAZING... From the moment you walk into the property you know its going to be great. The property was beautiful. The room was better than it appears in the photos, and everything was super clean. The breakfast options change each day, and as such you are required to fill in a form every day to say what time, what you want and where you want breakfast with the options being in your room or out in the common garden (both amazing locations). Food at the villas is quite cheap but very very good. The massage service at the villas is top class and very cheap, being only 180,000 IRP for a 60 minute massage. Would highly recommend staying at this accomodation.
The location is about a 5 minute drive into Ubud, but the accommodation offers a free shuttle bus service multiple times a day, and a taxi only costs 45000 IRP anyway.
One piece of advise. When you are dropped off at the villas, get dropped at the car park which is located across the road from the villas, as the walk from the road to the villas is about 200m (its all down hill anyway), but the villa will bring a golf buggy to pick you up from this location.
- Joel (10/5): Perfect hideaway - Extremely accommodating staff and such an fantastic location. These well designed villas have an amazing atmosphere, and in our opinion for such an affordable price.
- Angelica (6/5): Potential to be AMAZING - We had the pool villa with a view of the rice terraces and it was absolutely beautiful! The villa has an outdoor bathroom, which was really nice... but be cautious at night as there can be a lot of insects when you are trying to shower. The room was great. The service was OK. When we arrived to check in it was before check in time and they were able to accommodate us (yay!) but the hotel itself is far from town and they have a free shuttle with very very limited times. We asked to rent a scooter which they said they can help us with, but after 30 mins they told us that they could not get us one. So we had to walk 40 minutes into town in the heat to get one. Another disappointment was we asked if they could help us to get transport to Gili islands- total RIP OFF! We paid double of what others had paid AND we had to wait two hours in the heat after checking out early bc supposedly our shuttle was going to arrive. It was a nightmare from then on- the overcrowded shuttle with no A/C, them hassling us to pay more for return boat (which we fought and refused) and the dated overpacked boat. Very disappointed in the hotels "partner", they should consider losing there number and finding someone better to connect their customers with!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location. - Excellent staff and beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable. The private pool is a great feature.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel, nice staff - Stayed 2 days at this hotel in Ubud. The room is very private, and the view is excellent, hope I'd stay longer
- melfar (8/5): Nice Stay - Hotel is very nice, staff more than friendly, breakfast and lunch are very good
Rooms are clean except for insects inside due to surronding wild nature
I would rate it 5 if i did not experience the insects in the room and the three cats in the garden
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful location!! - The most relaxing 3 nights ever. The staff were amazing!!
- George (10/5): Paradise Found - Fabulous stay in a quiet villa overlooking rice fields away from the noise and fast pace of Ubud
- Fran (10/5): Great place to stay, away from the madding crowd - This was a great place to stay, a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Ubud, or a 50 minute stroll.
When in your private villa you could be the only people in the world. So relaxing. Having breakfast delivered to your room each morning.
The spa treatments were good, and the whole staff were so friendly.
If you don't fancy going far there are lots of good eating places within walking distance
I'd highly recommend Ubud Padi Villas.
- Bridget (10/5): Beautiful Villa in quiet location, friendly staff - We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Ubud Padi Villas. This was our last stop in Bali and it was perfect. The staff were very accommodating and professional. We had a valley view villa which had a beautiful view of the jungle. Each villa has it's own pool as well as the main pool near reception. You can only get to the villa via walking or by small vehicle (scooter or golf buggy) as it is a narrow path, however the hotel can pick you up and drop you off on their golf buggy to the main road whenever you need. There is a shuttle bus to the town centre which leaves multiple times throughout the day - it's about a 7 minute drive to downtown Ubud. Room service is great also - would definitely stay here again.
- vincent (8/5): - Nice ricefield view villa
The bed was really comfortable
swimming pool was great too
- Zoe (10/5): Brilliant location, pool, and staff - Our stay at Ubud Padi Villas was incredible and without fault. The staff were kind and friendly, the food was delicious, the room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing view! The private infinity pool was an absolute delight!!!
Getting to the villas by golf cart was exciting and made the location feel very secluded and romantic. (Please make note: you cannot drive right up to the villas and with bags the walk from the road is a little far (although only 5 minutes it is down hill for some time), do call the number on the sign beside the road entrance so that the staff send a driver in an open air golf cart to collect you!)
The staff at Ubud Padi Villas were the highlight - especially the driver who kindly waited for my husband and I, while I saw a doctor at the medical clinic, to drive as back to the hotel as there were no other guests on the shuttle at that time. The massages at the villa spa were divine.
Another huge positive for Ubud Padi Villas is the closeness that you can experience to the natural world of Bali, you can hear all sorts of animals, birds, and insects during the day and very, very loudly at night. We loved the open air bathroom. The supply of insect repellent and mosquito repelling candles was a helpful and thoughtful touch.
Overall, an amazing place to stay. We will be back in March 2017 (hopefully!!!)
- Alexandra (10/5): Tranquil getaway - Loved our time here from arrival til the end. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to help and had genuine sincerity. The grounds are quiet and peaceful, room wonderfully spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again and happily recommend. Thank you to everyone at Ubud Padi Villas for making our stay just perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice private villa - Quiet and calm place. Lots of nature's friends around such as ants, bugs and etc.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Most amazing villa I have ever stayed in. - The accommodation was always beautifully cleaned the staffs customer service was fantastic. The layout was amazing. It is far from town, but a shuttle service is avalible and the walk is very enjoyable.
- sh chia (8/5): Hotel with excellent service, great view, gd food - Excellent service, great view of padi fields, nice room with pool & outdoor shower. Good wifi and food. However, international channels not available on tv. Also water pressure was low & on last day only hot water while showering. Ouch.had to inform staff to switch off hot water. Not located in city centre altho they hv a free shuttle to n from hotel.
- Christine (10/5): "I will be back" - I had one perfect night and two days at Ubud Padi Villas and loved my villa. The room, decor, pool and out door bathroom were lovely. The view from my room was beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.Just wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back....Thankyou to the staff for looking after me.
- Erikson (10/5): We didn't want to leave - Too perfect. It's one of those "you just have to be there" places.
- Roshan (10/5): Best Experience! - Nothing but the best! The staff is very considerate and treat you like family, and cater to your every need. The food at the villa is excellent with great options. Rooms are awesome and very cozy and the private pool (Each villa has a private pool) is unbelievable! Already planning our next trip back!
- Katie (10/5): Home away from Home - My boyfriend and I stayed at Ubud Padi Villas for 10 days. Our private villa was clean, organized, and well stocked with linens, beverages, and toiletries. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The breakfast that is provided in the morning is not only delicious, but also filling. The entire staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. They offer suggestions as to what to do in Ubud and in the surrounding areas. There is a shuttle that is provided by the villa that takes you into city center and picks you up at specific times. We took advantage of this service many times. The villa also provides drivers and day tour packages. We had a guide for a day who took us to see the many beautiful temples and answered all of our questions about Balinese culture (thank you Ketut!!). We had a wonderful stay at Ubud Padi Villas and would highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very gracious service BUT 1000 sq ft "1 Bedroom" villa which we booked to accommodate 3 was in reality about 200 sq ft single room woefully inadequate for 3 and tight even just for 2. Turns out that most of the 1000 sq ft was private outdoor lanai / pool, which was nice, but not what we believed we had booked. An extra bed in the room left no room whatsoever. We ended up booking another room at a nearby hotel for our 3rd.
- Pohan (6/5): proximity to the nature at Ubud - We stayed in Ubud Padi Villas for 1 night. The room was spacious, wi-fi worked well, staff were very friendly, breakfast was quite nice. However, we were surprised to find that the hotel was not located on the main road, but we needed a golf car from the hotel to pick us up - from the drop-off zone in the main road to the hotel itself (very small path up). This was not a big issue - but we just did not expect this. Because there are many plants surrounding the private pool and the outdoor bathroom, we had a lot of insects in the pool and in the bedroom - a trade-off for a traditional, 'natural' villa.
The location was good - not far from Nuri's, Ubud town centre, and water rafting spots. We were able to travel to Sobek water rafting and the Ubud market easily.
- rhys (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing - The hotel was amazing from the time we arrived to the time we left. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean and the outside bathroom was super nice. The spa was well priced and very relaxing. I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel other than than the muffins weren't toasted in the morning. I would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and peaceful hotel or those on a romantic getaway.
- Chantelle (10/5): Stunning Padi Villa - We stayed at Ubud Padi Villas for 3 nights and it was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Our room had a Padi view, we were accidently put in a room on the forest side but then was quickly changed to a padi view.
The villa was pretty amazing. Bedroom was a good size with a good working condition tv. Outdoor undercover bathroom, with plenty of bench space. Lights were a little dim for night time though. Outdoor area was beautiful pool was surrounded by lush tropical plants.
Room service was excellent, very fast and food was yummy. Breakfast was included and there's 3 menus they change for each day. They serve it to your room at a time of choice.
They have a FREE drop off and pick up shuttle service to Ubud Center.
The also have a x1 each 15min complimentary foot massage and a complimentary afternoon tea.
Rice Padi walk out the front of the Villa.
We had a Balinese massage which was very relaxing aswell.
There are some restaurants about a 10-15min walk down the main road or you could get a taxi.
Great place for couples to stay!
- Christopher (10/5): Home away from home !!!! 5 stars - When we arrive and being escord to the room. The staff is so friendly welcoming us and everything is better and more than I expected. We were amazed to have a private villa just like a home away from home. From a two bed bed room, to semi outdoor bathroom, the beutiful court yard and garden over look the padi field and the swimming pool.
I like the dim light setting of the room but it would be nice if the hotel can provide an extra bright light control in seperate switch penel for woman who like a brighter light when she do the make up. In the dim light will be challenge for them. You know woman like to be perfect when it comes to be a beautiful woman. ( Just a suggestion ) other than that, the dim light setting is perfect for the deco and taste of the room.
Love to have the breakfast in the court yard outside of the room .
We can stay here for a long long time, feel like at home.
Next time we like to stay long for a week or longer.
Thank you all the friendly helpful staffs from the front desk, to house keeping, driver, chef.
I think the team work from you all make us a happy guest.
Thank you, thank you and thank you.
See you soon.
- Mervin (10/5): Good customer service, especially friendly! - I stayed there with my girlfriend for 3 days 2 nights and the hotel was in very good condition, it was clean and everything was what the pictures shown. The receptionist and everybody working at the hotel are very friendly. They would go the extra mile to make you smile and be of help to you, I'd recommend this hotel to any couple that wants to relax and have a quiet time by the nature.
- Bangsa Maluku (8/5): Super relaxing - After visiting Kuta this is what you need for the Bali experience. The rice field view was just great and we enjoyed staying at Ubud Padi villas so much. Don't force yourself for having dinner or lunch anywhere else, as the restaurant is also very good and you can enjoy at the villa or in the nice and quiet garden. We stayed with our two kids and they loved it as well. Unfortunately the private pool was a bit cold, but that was also because it was pretty chilly outside as well (we live in the Caribbean), but of course we used the pool not only for the view :).
- Laura (10/5): Hands down, one of the most beautiful places ever! - The staff were brilliant and so warm and friendly. The villas are absolutely superb and the views were to die for. I have nothing bad to say about the place. The food was lovely and very reasonable. I will definitely be returning.
- Nelly (8/5): 7 days in Eden. - The Perfect place to relax in Ubud.
20mn walk from ubud center but a free shuttle is provided by the reception.
We loved every night and every Day of this week, the villa is luxurious, the pool is magic and the staff very friendly and kind.
Thank you !
- joseph (8/5): nice peaceful hotel - Great staff and service. Food was nice and room was very comfortable. Hotel location is rather remote which is great. Of course this means some effort needed to explore ubud center. Free shuttle to shopping area but delays happens. Great if they provide bicycle for guest to explore the area as an alternative.
- S (10/5): Ubud Padi Villas is the best! - Ubud Padi Villas is a must accommodation in Ubud, Bali Indonesia. I have NOTHING negative to say about this resort and the amazing staff. After doing exstensive research on many resorts/hotels in the Ubud area because I'm very picky it was so gratifying when I arrived at the Ubud Padi Villas. It's extremely private and a close free shuttle ride to the Ubud city Center. This resort/ villa property is a true Balinese experience/gem from the decor, staff, rooms excursions and the food. They accommodated our every request. I was there also on a girls trip for 8 nights and I would highly recommended this place for family's, couples and even solo business travellers. I'm even looking forward to going back next year with my husband. I also want to add again about the amazing staff. They make you feel right at home and they are family now to me and my girlfriend that stayed there. Thank you to Penny, Eka and Wayan July for your incredible kindness. We will never forget you or the spirit of the Balinese people:)
- Angela (10/5): Charming villa - I had a great time at the villa. The food was excellent and the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well kept by the staff. I had a room with a private pool and it was absolutely wonderful. My in-room massage was excellent, and an extremely good value. Overall I was very pleased with everything and all the staff were great!
- Ed (8/5): Private Pool and welcome staff - We stayed a month in Bali and traveled around the island. Spent 4 nights at Ubud Padi Villas in February 2015. We loved having our own private pool and the staff couldn't be more accomodating. The boutique hotel is remote next to a large rice paddy. To reach facility you will be picked up at a small parking lot by a golf cart (you have to call, so you or your driver need phone) and driven down a narrow passage approximately a mile to the hotel. Half the rooms face the dense jungle and half face the rice paddy. The rice paddy side is preferred. Location is 15 minutes out of central Ubud, but hotel provides free shuttle van in and out of town 4 times a day. While in Ubud we attended evening dance(7:30-9:00) at Puri Saren Agung, went rafting down the Ayung River, visited Monkey Forest and Neka Art museum, visited Big Tree Farms chocolate factory and the holy springs at Tirta Empul. How do you get around? Hire a driver and it should only cost you $20 U.S. for the day!
- A (8/5): relaxing experience - Stayed in Padi Villas for three night during the New year it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We mainly just hung out in the pool attached to the villa most of the time as we have a 3 year old. Pool pretty small but ok. Staff were good and food was very reasonably priced and overall very good. Would definitely recommend the massages as very nice its actually done in your own villa. Ubud itself is just crazy busy so was nice to be away from it. The transport from ubud to Padi Villas is a bit sketchy as you have to get golf cart from the main road but its workable.
- Hector (10/5): great experience - I can definitely say that this was the best place we've ever stayed in. The staff are out of this world, they all call you by your first name, extremely helpful and very pleasant. The villa was stunning, having your own private garden with a small pool was brilliant, not to far out of Ubud pretty cheap to get a taxi in and out. Ideal for couples but probably not suitable for young families.
- Calvin (10/5): Great Service, Great Stay - Great service, Excellent place to get away
- Tessa (10/5): - Facilities: State of the art, Home away from home; Value: Great deal, Fantastic; Service: Flawless, Remarkable; Cleanliness: Spotless, Gleaming;
what a great place - wonderful villas, close to town (but far enough to be peaceful), but best of all, lovely staff.
- amanda & freddy (10/5): Great private villa with amazing view - My husband and I had two nights in UBud Padi Villa's. Waking up to the most amazing view on the first morning, watching the sun rise across the paddy fields. The staff were the most attentive we have experienced over our three plus week vacation. Would recommend to all, only down side was we wished we had stayed longer!!
- Paul (10/5): - Facilities: Distinctive; Value: Affordable; Service: Go the extra mile, Outstanding; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
Food was suprisingly good. Crispy duck to die for.
- Rory (10/5): - Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Amazing; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Pleasant;
The car services is very convenient, definitely take the walk into town along the main road as there is some great places to see or through the rice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Incredible staff - Quite a long way from town but the staff are incredible. views out over the padi's are nice, pools are good.
- Danielle (10/5): Retreat in Ubud - This is a gorgeous small hotel over looking rice paddies. It is quiet with superb service. We could imagine a nicer hotel for our stay in Bali.
- Shawn/Nicolle (10/5): Little sanctuary - A little gem that overlooks the beautiful paddy field. Perfect for couples to escape from the city. We didn't wanna leave.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Peaceful retreat - Spent 6 nights at Ubud Padi Villas and loved it. Small, intimate accommodation that was quiet, private and luxurious. The outdoor bathroom, plunge pool and day bed were wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and we got to know them over the week. The shuttle into Ubud was handy and we enjoyed the meals at Ubud Padi Villas too.
- Cecilia (8/5): Lovely villas, especially for couples - We initially picked Ubud Padi Villa because it has excellent ratings online and they did not disappoint us. The staff welcomed us warmly and we got upgraded to nicer villa for 2 nights. the rooms are immaculate and spacious. We really enjoyed the views, rainforest and padi fields, beautiful during the day and at night. The staff really made us feel at home, they remembered our names during our stay! The breakfast was fantastic, fresh juices, rice, noodles and fruit in our own room every morning....cannot ask for more! One night, the manager of the hotel kindly organised a trip down the road for us to watch the Barong dance, whhich was a really nice touch. We would love to go back one day and we thoroughly recommend Ubud Padi Villa if you are visiting Ubud. Kind regards from Ireland to Eka, Mega, Penny, Giant, Ketut and all of padi villa and villa santun staff, who made our stay a memorable one.
- Rachel (10/5): Relax and enjoy yourself - We stayed here last week for 7 days in Villa 1. We arranged an airport pickup with the villa and he was patiently waiting when we arrived 2hrs late due to the queues at DPS airport. He took us to the villa (80 mins) where we were checked in efficiently and friendly. The villa was beautiful and the private pool and views over the rice fields to die for. The staff here though are the big winners. Every day they ask after you and if they can do anything to make your stay better. They learn your name very quickly and it is a very personable service. Breakfast can be eaten in your Villa or in the communal garden. The choice is good and the food is cooked and prepared beautifully ( as were the dinners we had there too) . All this with smiles and warmth from the staff and reasonable prices too. The shuttle service to ubud was reliable and timely and was available whenever required ( a tiny charge if you want it outside of the set times). No real insect issues here either, no mosquito problem at all. The big plus of these villas is definitely the staff though and if you go, speak to them as much as you can. They are genuinely friendly. Thanks to all staff at Ubud Padi Villas from Mr Matthew and Miss Rachel. We hope to come back soon.
- Adrian (8/5): Quite, good service, - Book ubud padi villa for my gf bday..it's a good hotel, far away from city, private pool is facing padi fields which is peaceful.if you are lucky u get to see firefly at night.service was superb.the hotel staff give my gf a complimentary bday cake.it was a surprise
