Comfort level not good due to heat and no air conditioning available on the island. I would strongly recommend ceiling fans as fans provided did little to alleviate the heat. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable with plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day exploring the island.

• Robyn (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay. - Sue the receptionist was amazing. I annoyed her for quite a few days with little issues we were happening and she was always happy to help. The internet was dreadful but that's not Aloha's problem although they could have Starlink for the accommodation not just the office.

Dylan and Sue were excellent and were more than helpful. Just a minor thing - sensor lighting at night. We came home one night and a bit dark down some of the apartment access walkways but not to detract from the standard of our stay.

• Genevieve (9/5): Fabulous, family friendly, clean and welcoming - The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and allowed us to use the pool and facilities all day after checking out. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Norfolk. The apartments were also next to the largest kids playground on the island, which was fantastic for us, with kids. Great BBQ facilities and immaculately clean and tidy apartments. Our apartment decor and carpets were a bit dated.

• Lynette (10/5): A great place to stay on Norfolk Island. - Absolutely loved Norfolk Island and the Aloha was a big part of that. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and, being near the centre of Burnt Pine, we were only minutes walk from the supermarket and the Bowling Club. The staff were both friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again.

The owner of this property was so accommodating. Internet connection - how hit and miss it was. Probably need to look into star link or something - even though the infrastructure on the island has its own set of challenges.

• Samantha (9/5): The staff were so friendly and everything was so easy and convenient - In the middle of town so very convenient to go to the shops but still very quiet as the rooms are back from the road. There's a park next door which was a life saver travelling with 2 young children. There are portable fans in the apartments so the only thing that would have made it even better would be ceiling fans.

Amazingly good quality mattresses, soft fluffy towels and excellent kitchen facilities. The children’s play ground was a God send as many of had little children at my son’s wedding. Fantastic swimming pool with a great shallow end for little ones. The property was amazing.

An excellent central location, spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could want. Close to everything and an easy pick up point for any tours. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Full kitchen facilities. Flat screen TV. Portable room fan. No air conditioner. Though, staff explained that electricity consumption would have been too costly as whole island runs off solar charged battery power.

• Jessica (10/5): Wonderful centrally located accomodation, perfect for families. - Aloha is in an absolutely fantastic location right in the middle of town. You can walk to the supermarket, the shops and a range of cafes and restaurants. The two bedroom apartments are spacious, modern and very well appointed. The beds are huge and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is great, only thing missing is an oven (but there is a stove top and a microwave, along with a full-size fridge & freezer). Lounges are comfortable and all living spaces are great sizes. There are multiple towels provided per person which is very handy when the weather is so humid and things don’t dry all too quickly. The pool area is fantastic, as is the close proximity to the playground. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. We requested a cot for our baby and one was provided at no extra cost. We also extended our stay by an extra night as we’ve been enjoying our time here so much, and the staff were able to shuffle things around so we could remain in the same room. Overall we’ve had a wonderful stay and would recommend Aloha to anyone looking for central accommodation on Norfolk Island that’s well suited to families. The only negative was that there was only one fan provided for a two bedroom apartment. Being that it’s so humid, a fan for each room would have been appreciated. That being said, we didn’t ask if a second was available (as we have family also staying on the island who lent us a second fan), but I have no doubt that if a second fan was requested we would have been provided with one if it were available.

Tour bus pick up at the front of property which is well lit at night. Unit recently renovated by the looks and was very modern, clean and well maintained.

• Julie (8/5): Wonderful Place - It's a perfect location. It was fun having a whole apartment with a separate bedroom for each person. The staff were amazing, especially Ryan. They didn't have breakfast available at the time, but recommended an amazing restaurant right across the street. The place was very clean. It was fun to have a separate little bungalow. There isn't any heat and one night was FREEZING. I wore a lot of clothes and a parka with hood. Perhaps they could offer a space heater or electric blanket on those nights. Very clean but a bit of a bug problem that they seem to be addressing the best they can.
