- Sanja (4/5): Nicely designed property with a potential but needs improvement. - It is a nice, spacious property with excellent original design that includes plenty of green area and sufficient parking space, swimming pools, gym outside...The access road to the property is of good quality and security seemed good and well organized. It is a pet friendly facility with plenty of space to walk the dog. While the outside area was well maintained the inside, buildings themselves, looked like they need a bit more maintenance. I entered the room in which it was 31 degrees. Only when we entered the lady put on the air-condition and it took hours for the room to cool down. I wanted to go to the beach and they told me the transportation left at 10am (I arrived at 3pm which is the check-in time) and that the (bus) driver is not available...As I was with the car I asked for directions which they kindly provided. They did not explain that the club they directed me to is not affiliated to them, I needed to pay an entrance fee... I could not sleep well as my dog was hunting sizeable cockroaches the whole night...I took the picture of the 2 cockroaches (that did not manage to run away from him) and showed at the reception and the reaction to this, same like for the temperature of the room and non-availability of the driver, was yes sorry and no action whatsoever. Mosquitos are aggressive and my repellent did not really help outside but in the room it was ok...

- Lindsay (7/5): We would stay again. The property and unit were cleans and the staff was helpful and polite. - The kitchen was not well stocked: No coffee maker, no toaster, no sharp knives.
- Jennifer (4/5): - The common area (pool, bar) and the staff were all exceptional. The unit-C224, was terrible. It was dirty, the exhaust hood over the stove was dangerous and about to fall apart, in one bathrooms, the sink leaked, in the other bathroom the shower head was broken. There were nails exposed in the floor-so keep your shoes on. There was a dank odor through the unit, bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The amenities in the unit were zero-no coffee maker, no hair dryer-really nothing, including the tv didn’t work. There is nothing nearby-no groceries or restaurants other than the complex bar/restaurant-at which the staff were excellent, but if you are there more than a couple days-you’d need a car to get anywhere to get any type of provisions. Cooking in this particular unit would no be advisable-dishes and appliances were in terrible shape. The complex was quiet and the grounds and pool area really well kept, so it was relaxing for a night or 2.

- Lorri (10/5): The place to be - It was beautiful, friendly service, comfortable, and non intrusive. Our apartment was a senior suite, which was located at the golf course. We had a private pool with beautiful deck furniture. It offered all of the comforts of home but also had the feel of a resort. I would have loved a coffee pot. And a traditional pot to cook rice in.

- Indhira (4/5): Overpriced for what they offer . - The breakfast was overpriced. They charged more for a few pieces of cheese than their own breakfast. We lost power. They made sure I didn't get into the place before the check-in time and seeing that I was already there they didn't even make an attend to. The staff was not very polite. Save some money and go to a resort . I learned my lesson .

- willie (2/5): Dont stay here - Bed couch bathroom was dirty the room was very noisy due to construction work says bilingual was accepted but no one there speak English batteries in TV remote controls did not work rear patio window did not lock I also left the room and came back and the door was unlocked someone had visited my room the door lock is a deadbolt lock so it had to be someone from the hotel

- Marino (6/5): Regular - There was loud music past 2AM tried calling front desk and nobody answered the phone, had to sleep with earplugs. Room are decent but could be cleaned better.
- Julio (2/5): - We rent 3 apt. and one include a sofa bed, but was not in condition to sleep. 2 persons had to sleep in a small bed. Air conditioning was broke and took one day to fix. We said don't come to clean because i am allergic to chlorine and in spite of that, while we were having breakfast, they went to clean up and that made me feel ill. That day they took the dirty towels and did not return them, we realized at midnight and there was nobody to take care of us, only security. One day they changed the towels and one of the ones they left as clean was dirty from another apartment with lipstick. The bathroom had spider web in the shower and one of the beds was full of hairs as if they had not changed the savanna. The hot water did no wort for the two shower simultaneously. I spoke about all of this to the manager and he promised to give a refund but he never did. It's bad business when you pay for a service and do not reward it in return. I really do not recommend this place.

The resort itself is nice with only one place to eat. If you are looking for quite, relaxing is good place to go

- Luis (10/5): We had a great weekend. - It is not a hotel but an apartment complex, therefore my expectations were not that high. But really I was surprised ,is a very nice little apartment complex, with a pool, a bar, a small restaurant and the breakfast was pretty good. They also have transportation to take you to the beach, The beach is about 5 miles from the hotel takes a few minutos to get there , is worth the ride since the beach area is private and very good.
- YvetteR803 (10/5): Excellent stay specially if spending weekend with friends, groups or family - I stayed over the weekend with my family and friends at Sybaris...room 106 block B, ground floor and 1 bedroom apt. only good things and comments about the service and staff... The place is really well kept.. super clean! nice safe environment for kids and very quiet grounds... Our package included breakfast, simple nice variety.. loved the pineapple juice! Ample rooms, with AC, fully equipped kitchen, modern setting, linens in great shape.. Bathrooms recently refurbished, cute backyard. Staff really go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and feel at home... that's priceless... Even though it is not a beach front property it does have 2 pools, playground for kids , bbq area and bar... the only 3 things I could think of (thinking really hard) that could improve: -hairdryer in the bath room and iron (though I'm pretty sure if I needed it and asked they would have found one for me. -kinda loud music in the mornings at the bar -weird episode with our expedia reservation, they couldn't find it and even when i showed the printed version, wouldnt let us enter the compound for about 30 minutes to speak with reception... they did apologize several times though. overall great stay, great service and will definitively visit again...

If you want to relax and away from the rest of the world I recommend this place. My room had a private pool so there was no need for me to leave my room until it was time to check out. The room looks exactly like the photos online. They serve daily free breakfast and free WiFi in the room and throughout the whole property. The employees are great, however I recommend for them to take at least a basic English class. I didn't have an issue as I understand Spanish but English is a universal language that they should know the basics.

- smokey (8/5): Quiet place to relax - First of all getting to hotel is a challenge if your planning to stay there, ensure that the person know where he's going cause you would be driving on the opposite side on high way and difficult to find turn off to get on the other side of highway to get where your staying. there is also directions to get there, but that too can be challenging, all in all my stay at the hotel was excellent.

With a little work they could do much better. When we arrived, we had to change rooms because part of the appliances was not working properly and there were a few other details that do not make for a five stars. I do give 3 stars though because the staff is very nice. They try hard to please you.
- JoseOviedo56 (10/5): Excellent - One of the best accommodations in the East near Santo Domingo. Sybaris suites are located in Guavaberry golf club. They are surrounded by georgeous trees and gardens amd the apartments are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. I think this is a place of great taste!
