- Safari42434218696 (10/5): Excellent Stay Feb 19th to March 10th 2026 - Great Location,Hotel Food was very good and very reasonably priced. The Hotel has very nice gardens, excellent Frangipani Trees,very Balinese,well maintained as was the room I stayed in for 19 days. All staff were very accommodating and made me feel welcome. Komang the young man who goes to the local gym,and is 1 of the local staff who was grateful for all the weight training tips and health tips that I gave him during my stay,and for the occasional use of my weights, which my wife was kind enough to drop off for me for training. The Manager helped me personally with a situation during my stay which was much appreciated,and very professional of her. The Swimming Pool ,was maintained to perfection by Gede,which was the cleanest swimming pool I've ever swam in. This young man as all members of the hotel staff took pride in their work. The Hotel Restaurant which is located at the back of the hotel ,near the swimming pool,overlooks the beach at the Lovina location in Lovina and it was extremely relaxing at night eating my meal and watching the sun go down. This was a different holiday compared to the hustle and bustle of Kuta/Legian/Canggu A lot more relaxing. The ideal scenario would be 3 days in Kuta / Legian/Canggu at the start of a trip to Bali ,then head up North to Singaraja/lovina ,stay 1 week (or more) then back down to Kuta /Legian /Changu for 3 days to do extra shopping,and then return to your home country. The Lovina Beach Hotel like all hotels has different levels of accommodation. I am a 71 year old Male Pensioner who found that the basic room( no aircon,no TV and no Fridge more than suited my needs. In Australia,I have ,no TV ,no aircon,I have a Fridge,so the room with a large ceiling Fan was more than adequate. Double check ,what room you are booking into , regarding what facilities the room offers,so the room will meet your needs. Wifi was extremely reliable and very Fast. Outside of the hotel entrance ,if you go right you come to ( after a 3 min walk) a Pepito Bakery / Western type Supermarket.There is 1 in Kuta as well. Across the road from the Bakery is a very large money changer( with very good exchange rates) Before the money changer on the same side of the road ,is a Chemist (Apotek) for your medical needs. Going left out of the hotel is a Chinese Restaurant right next door(Was busy at night time) I only had meals at the hotel. After the first set of traffic lights on the left side of the road ,in the morning,a fruit and vegetables market operates. I walked that way every morning for an hour ,and after the second day the local Balinese people recognized me and were extremely friendly in their greetings,during the remainder of my stay. Long review I know. I'm a very thorough person by nature,and like to include a lot of detail . Hope travellers to lovina / Singaraja region of Bali find this review helpful and the Lovina Beach Hotel continues to do good business. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the Northern Regency of Bali ,Buleleng.

- Seaside08405312335 (10/5): Beautiful old hotel on the beach, great food, great kitchen staff, very clean pool, very peaceful. - 3rd time here for my daughter and I, the food is great, they are such great guys who work in the restaurant, very helpful as I have celiac disease and can only eat Gluten Free food. The marlin & mahi mahi fish dishes were beautiful. My daughter loves all their dishes. They are open nearly all the time. The pool was perfect. The only thing bad I could say was I think our room had no fly screen in the bathroom so hundreds of little bugs come in, think the light attracted them, I got help straight away, a guy sprayed a little and picked up every bug by hand. Other than that yes I recommend this hotel, we love the place and will go back a 4th time definitely, North Bali has the best sunsets, this hotel you can sit in the restaurant area, looking out to the beach or step onto the beach and watch the sun go down.

- Exploration93712 (6/5): Sleepy Town - The hotel is well-located, with easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants. Built in the 1950s, the rooms are clean and comfortable, though they feel a bit tired and would benefit from an upgrade, particularly in the bathroom. The gardens are neat and tidy, though some work could be done to restore them to their original glory. The pool was cloudy, though I’m not sure why, which somewhat diminished the appeal of swimming. Breakfast was enjoyable, but note that the selection isn’t vast. The juice took me back to the ’80s, as it tasted like Tang.

We were concerned about the large gap under the door thinking we may be plagued with mosquitos or other insects so put something against it at night to block it up. Only 1 towel each supplied. However, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day & the staff were lovely. The food that we had at the restaurant was quite good. It is also very handy for Lovina town so not too bad for a budget hotel.

Tæt på indkøbsmuligheder, restauranter m.m Hyggelig bolig/bungalow, hvor der kun manglede et lille køleskab. Dejlig mad til billige penge. Et rigtigt dejlig sted, med mange muligheder. Kan anbefale delfintur hvor vi så mange delfiner og tur til Hot springs.
- kaylenev2023 (10/5): Relaxing few days with family and friends. - We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Lavina Beach Hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the restaurant food very good. The gardens were beautiful and the hotel is right on the beach. The rooms were basic, but clean. However there were a few minor maintenance issues. For a budget hotel, it was really good value and I would stay there again.
- philtT61VJ (10/5): Enjoyable week at Lovina Beach Hotel. - As a budget hotel I was wondering what the accommodation would be like. I was very impressed with the overall place. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily to a good standard. Pool spotlessly clean. Food at restaurant was well above expectations by all of us. And the ground's well maintained. Very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, for whom the customer experience seems to be a priority. Does still have some maintenance required as a hangover from COVID shutdown, but well worth a consideration.

Room and Facilities: The room is a good size and simple with the basics, but the cabinet is a bit old. Bedding: The bed is okay, but the blanket is quite thin. - lizzy41black (10/5): Wonderful Hotel highly recommend - Booked 1 night here with family in 3 separate rooms. Staff very friendly checking in easy. Rooms nice size with king bed nice pillows and good air conditioning. Large fridge in room wurh tea and coffee. Bathroom very nice great shower my only complaint is small very thin towels. Has drinks and late lunch in the sunset bar beautiful views. However this sand is black and I didn't like the sea even though it was warm. Too muddy and slimey under your feet. However free paddle boards and canoes available. Nice pool and free pool towels to use. We all went dolphin watching at 6am and they didn't disappoint so cheap to.

We checked out immediately because we didn't want to get sick. Don't go there! Personnel was friendly and refunded us without questions.
- janlS11HK (8/5): Quirky - The location is fabulous, right on the beach and within walking distance of restaurants etc. The pool was lovely. The breakfast is yummy as was the dinner we had at the hotel. It's a quirky wee hotel and we enjoyed our stay there, but the rooms are basic, everything you need though. Did have some issues with hot water in the shower. The rooms are clean and serviced every day and the grounds are beautiful.

The detached bungalows are good value especially if you get one close to the beach. Great to hear the sea from your room. The room itself is clean, large and comfortable. - Kathy-jo (10/5): - We stayed one week here. Loved Lovina. The ever happy smiling staff were always friendly and helpful and took time to learn about us, nothing was too much trouble. I mistakenly booked a room with no fridge. I need one to store my medication. The management allowed me access to their private fridge and put a fridge in my room once one came available. To me this was above and beyond good service. The pool is a comfortable temperature. The food from the kitchen is very good. We ordered a lot from the hotel and was never disappointed. Also the food and beverages are very reasonably priced. The hotel is beach front with beautiful views and close vicinity to the main part of town. I will be returning and am a bit concerned that my glowing review will make it too crowded!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Value - We stayed in a limited sea-view room on the second floor. In hindsight, I would choose a bungalow. We really liked this hotel for its reasonably priced restaurant and outstanding location right on the beach. It was excellent value. The room was recently refurbished and painted but strangely lacked a TV. Who doesn't at least have a tablet these days? Internet was as good as any hotel I've been to. The room was just the right size too. Other than a brief moment, shower water pressure was good enough and there was hot water throughout our stay. Hopefully, they've addressed the issues mentioned by others and it was definitely not an issue for us. The dolphin tour is good value and definitely should be done which they can arrange, though, the other local tours seemed overpriced. The hotel allows you to charge expenses to your room which I always refuse for budgeting and fraud reasons. The spectacular feast charged to my room, resplendent with copious, ahem, "vodka shooters" worth almost two nights stay, proved the effectiveness of this policy. The hotel relented within a reasonable amount of time and I am sorry that they are out the bill. I hope they require showing a room key to solve this problem in future. Uncomfortable check out aside, I would stay again. The area was less crowded with tourists than other parts of Bali but still touristy. A good area for a quieter beach holiday.
- Deb (6/5): - Lovina Beach Resort is in a great location on the beach at Lovina - there is a wall and gate in front of the property beach side making it safe - the beach path runs along the beach either way and within 5-10 walk you have small shops, warungs and eateries - the resort is olde style - lovely gardens - however it is quite run down (as are many after the Covid era) - we paid extra for a bungalow which are at the beach side of the resort and have air con - however they are very basic but adequate - the shower area needed a really good clean - the pool area is quite small with a few loungers and umbrellas - the pool was ok but could do with a 'detail clean' but it was good for a quick dip! The staff a very friendly - the inc breakfast was basic but nice - the other food was good and the prices were good - the restaurant area overlooks the ocean and catches lovely breezes! We came up from Kuta by car and it will take you approx 3.5 hours to do the trip - a good supermarket is 5 mins walk away

We were upgraded to a huge room which was lovely however we were rudely awake by guests in the next room and had to ring reception to complain. However management were mortified and served us with a plate of fruit and two half hour massage as a compliment.

The grounds around the hotel are lovely, they are well maintained and a feature of the hotel. Being located right on the beach is a major plus. There is free parking at the hotel. The staff are friendly. The water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent which was disappointing.

The property offers paddle boarding, canoeing and water sports included in the room price which was great. They also organised snorkelling for us for an additional price. Room was lovely with gorgeous bathroom features. Very quiet spot however Lovina in general is quiet. Nice infinity pool with beach towels provided. Restaurant is nice.

- 877lynnew (8/5): Better than expected - We only stayed one night to catch up with a friend but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price it was very good value. We got the bungalow (room 12) right at the front facing the beach. Aircon great bed very comfy room great size. Yes I was very happy.
- dominique (10/5): Un peu défraichi mais tellement bien et sympa - Hôtel qui a eu son heure de gloire (le 1er construit à Lovina) mais qui aurait besoin d'un rafraichissement. Le staff est aux petits oignons pour vous...adorable. Il reigne une belle quiétude et la vue sur la mer depuis le resto est splendide. Le petit dejeuner est très bien (café ou thé à volonté et jus d'orange aussi), fruits, un choix entre continental (pain grillé/oeufs) et indonesien (Nasi ou Mie Goreng). Proche à pied du centre (Dolphin statute) et des magasins et restos. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Préférez les chambres supérieures ou les bungalows. La piscine est très belle mais attention, il n'y a pas de joint entre les carreaux de carrelage, j'ai failli m'entailler la paume de main car le bord du carrelage est tranchant. L'eau y est très propre et très bonne. On y reviendra !!!

- J4000XRalisong (8/5): Great location in North Bali - regular guest - I have been travelling to Bali for 30 years and found this special hotel 18 years ago and have been returning ever since to find serenity and peace , This hotel has the best beach front in Lovina . The superior rooms are clean with A/C and the view is priceless. The pool is sparkling clean and cool and you will receive a descent breakfast with a variety to chose from . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is only a short walk from the restaurants and bars near the dolphin statue . Always Looking forward to my next stay

- Jonas (10/5): - Mycket bra rum på stranden väldigt lugnt med få försäljare. Bra med restauranger följ strand ner till höger ca 400 m. Bra och billiga drinkar i hotell baren endast och riktigt starka. Billiga utflykter, delfin sightseeing så boka där de på stranden försökte bara blåsa en. Skippa snorkling då det var ett litet rev och inte mycket att se.

- Avinash (10/5): Beautiful Lovina - I enjoyed my stay at the Lovina Beach Hotel. It is very central to many locations to visit to like the hot springs or a beautiful Buddhist Monastery just 10km away. Of course Lovina is most famous for going on a Dolphin watch, which should not be missed in my opinion! The Hotel is directly attached to the local beach and as it faces the beach you don't hear much from the main road. Many great restaurants are located just in walking distance but there are also some cheap and good "Warungs" along the main Jalan (road). Right from the hotel you can go on a long walk at the beautiful black sand (lava) beach.

Værelserne kunne godt bruge en kærlig hånd, men man kan ikke forvent meget mere når det er så billigt. Det er en super hyggelig hotel, som ligger godt. Morgenmaden (specielt Mie gorengen og pandekagerne) er god. Wifi’en er ikke eksisterende.

- Benjamin (8/5): Nice beachfront hotel - Lovina Beach Hotel is in a great location, you can walk straight on to the beach from the grounds and is a short stroll into the main part of the town for restaurants etc. The grounds are stunning, beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, really lovely to walk through every day. Our room itself was old, dark and dingy, but the bed sheets were clean and the air con worked great. Our outside seating area was also lovely. Breakfast is fine, nothing special, but it is lovely to sit overlooking the sea. The pool area is dated and could do with some love, but was clean and a nice place to pass some time. We booked a dolphin spotting trip through reception, our guide was great, wasn't aggressive to get in the middle of the dolphins like some we saw. He took his time and made sure we saw lots of dolphins without making us feel like the dolphins might get hurt. Definitely recommend! Overall a nice little hotel, it they spruced the rooms up with the same love they show the garden, it would be wonderful!

- Yunju (8/5): 비치바로 옆 운치있는 오래된 호텔 - 에어컨방 2박, 팬 방 2박했었어요. 더블북킹이 되어서 4박으로 변경해줄 수 있냐고하니 그렇게 해주더라구요. 조경이 특히 예뻤고, 뒷편은 바로 비치라 좋았어요. 아주오래된 호텔이라 왠지 더 운치있는 느낌이었지만, 오래된 건물이라 상태가 다소 좋지는 않고, 방음이 잘 안되어 주변 가게 공연소리가 고스란히 들렸습니다. 그리고 팬방이 더 깔끔했지만 찬물만 나왔어요. 따뜻한물 나오는 수도꼭지 자체가 없다는거ㅋㅋ 하지만 수영장은 괜찮았고, 바로근처 비치에서 돌고래투어 스노클링 등을 할 수 있는데라 좋았어요. 동양인 자체가 없고 한국인은 거의 안 온다며 저를 신기한듯? 맞아주는 직원들이 인상깊었네요. 호텔에서 바라본 아침바다와, 바로앞 비치에서 본 석양사진도 올려요.

- Janb23 (6/5): Lovina Beach Hotel, on the beach. - This hotel is towards the end of Lovina Beach in a property which has existed in one or other forms for over 50 years. We visited Lovina in the '80's and the area has become much more tourist orientated. We loved it as an experience during that time. This hotel is in wonderful grounds with an adequate well priced restaurant and a small but shady swimming pool. The cottages are quite tired, with some mould in the bathrooms, and well used towels and linen. There are no pool towels but if you use your room ones they replace them happily - not a good arrangement but acceptable. The verandas of the cottages are nice to sit on in early morning and evening time, there is a security guard on duty during the night. When you walk onto the beach there is a path but a short distance to the right you must climb over a high steep steps which are not safe after dark, the other way to walk along the beach is available but you must walk through a creek's water to get to the other side. After you get past either of these hurdles, there are quite a few restaurants and properties available. In answering the question of whether to recommend to a friend, I wavered, certainly the property is quite cheap but a I think others around have more to offer with little price difference.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 移動の足がないと... - 私は30回以上バリに行っているのに、初ロビナビーチだったので、夜間ホテルからバイクでウロウロしましたが、渡航歴の少ない方や、ホテルから移動の足がない人には、少し不便な場所です。 ホテルは清潔感もあり、スタッフの対応も良かったですが、次回ロビナビーチに遊びに行った際には、別の所に泊まろうと思います。
- ahrault (10/5): Très joli hotel calme sur la plage - Nous avons passé un très Agréable séjour dans cet hôtel avec nos enfants. Directement sur la plage. Plongée et dauphins. Chouette piscine. Bon petit déjeuner. Les repas sont également très bon. Petite préférence pour les bungalows plus loin de la route et qui sont très calmes.

- Haydn (6/5): Lovina Beach Hotel - The setting was pleasant in well kept gardens and the staff very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained and the breakfasts adequate. However the room was very basic and the bathroom hadn't been decorated in years and was rather depressing.

Pool was nice and the staff were Excellent, especially in the restaurant. Small menu but good food. Beach could not be closer, it was wonderful. Dolphin trip was well worth seeing.
- Janelle (8/5): Good location - This is an older hotel in a good location it is beachfront and also very close to the main area where the shops and restaurants are. We did have a water leaking in our bathroom so we changed rooms and the new room was fine. The breakfast was very basic and there was much of it.
- Maren Skullerud (6/5): Good value for the money - The room was clean, the bathroom did not look very clean. No minibar/fridge. Nice pool. Cozy hotel outdoor areas. Ok breakfast. Right in front of beach. The hotel reception helps with booking of snorkelling tour, dolphin safari etc.

- Tom (8/5): - Everything was fine. Lovina beach is a beautiful place to visit. The hotel was budget and as such expected. The food there wasnt as good as nearly every other place I had visited in Bali ,But their pineapple pancakes wete pretty special. The view was 5 star... especially at sunset.

- Luqman (6/5): STRESSFULL STAY - The hotel review that i read before was really fake...nothing much here except the sellers or local keep on trying to sell and really pressure you into buying something from them and i am not able to enjoy the view or the sea peacefully. Upon arrival i sat in the restaurant with so many sellers looking and asking to buy something. My daughters is even afraid to venture out from the gate to the beach. It's really so annoying. The staff in the restaurant was such a great help thou. The manager was such a weird guy and not helpful at all but the other staff was great. Never would i comeback to this awful place... big mistake...really nothing much. Hopefully the management would look into this problem...
- Anthony (6/5): Lovina overnight - The Hotel is situated on the main road and is easy to find. It is being renovated at present. All rooms are at the rear adjacent to the beach, the rooms are clean and presentable. Down side No Fridge and No tea/coffee making facilities. A good restaurant, which opens at 8am and closed at 10pm. recommend for overnight or extended stay eg 2months but not a one week holiday,all restaurants and nightlife within walking distance.

The rooms are basic and clean in the main traffic areas but this is Bali. .The hotel is showing it's age, but I'd stay again..loved it. - c (6/5): Close to the beach - The room was pretty good, we liked the surroundings. The bathroom was a bit old but the room was clean and the pool was a plus. The beach is near by but not so clean. Restaurant was really good and staff there were very nice. Hotel staff were not very helpful they didn't want us to take a shuttle and wouldn't give us the info, we basicaly paid way to much to get to Permuteran so I would recommend you to ask around before you book with them a taxi.

Great location right on the beach, breakfast area was very pretty facing the ocean and breakfast was very good, nice swimming pool, within walking distance to restaurants, some shopping and places where you can book tours. Only one complaint we had was that the beach was dirty since it was rainy season when we went but that was not the hotel's fault, just beware of the season when you go.
