Guest Reviews
- Escape40107676646 (10/5): Value for money! - The rooms were clean and very spacious. Water heater connected to shower for hot water when required. Staff was courteous and quick check-in and check-out process. Location is very near to aiport CDF bus stop. It is some distance away from the night market and pub street though. Good Value for money!
- Sandra (6/5): - The place was in a convenient place walking distance to the palace and night market, The property itself was ok. It had a bed and a shower. but nothing else. the property was outdated. The WIFi hardly work , the TV didn't work. If oy need a place to crash after spending all day walking then this serves the purpose.
- Rebeca (8/5): - Relación precio calidad buena.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic Clean and Comfortable. - Very basic, clean and comfortable. Value was ok. Area ok.
- Aurelie75008 (10/5): Excellent value for money and service - Super well located, small boutique hotel walking distance from the river, the night market, Pub Street (10 min), the Cambodian market and Wat Bo temple. Small, nice swimming pool which is really great after a day walking in the temples! Accommodation is basic and really clean, there is a small supermarket for kids across the street in front of the hotel if you want more water bottles or other simple things. There is also an ATM which is super convenient. The other supermarket (like 7/11) is just 3 min walk from the hotel. The staff was super helpful and nice, Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast can be taken in the hotel with choice of pancakes, eggs, toasts and fruits, 4 USD per pax, really good. Definitively will book again!
- saayt2022 (10/5): Beautiful little hotel in central Siem Reap!! - Beautiful little hotel in central Siem Reap. Gorgeous exterior with a lovely sun area and pool. Rooms were lovely, air conned and en suite was very clean and functional. Attached restaurant serves great food well worth a try! Staff incredible helpful and friendly.
- dra_ng755 (10/5): Good budget accommodation in the city center. - Excellent location, we were given a room on higher floor as per request with unblock view. Staffs were really nice and helpful, swimming pool and restaurant are great additional, good budget accommodation in the city center.
- Dhanushka (10/5): - Hotel is nice and clean. Each staff was very friendly. Looking forward again, thanks.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- dara7555 (10/5): My favorite hotel in Siem Reap - Siting along Watbo road took me 10 minutes walk to pub street with many choices of restaurant nearby, the cleanliness of the room. the staff, especially Sara who was responsible for us, was extremely attentive and always friendly with a smile on their faces. The breakfast was just amazing with a wide choice and we loved the fact that there was a free of charge tuk tuk pick up from Airport. enjoyed my stayed.
- MariekeK973 (8/5): Charming - This is a pretty and traditional house, very conveniently situated in Siem Reap. Not too close to the bar street but close enough to easily get there. We booked the hotel because it had a pool. Unfortunately the levels of chlorine in the pool were such, that we went in only once for about 5 minutes. Our eyes were watering, skin irritated and the smell never got out of our bathing suits.... The staff is very friendly, but only one speaks a little English. The first night was a bit of a drama, as the bed was as hard as the wooden floor. We changed to another room next day, with a much more comfortable mattress. The bathroom is a bit small and hhas no power outlet. In the room there is a fridge but no safe. The room lacks power outlets. Only one and if you unplug the TV, another hidden one. Breakfast is basic but fine. We had a good time all in all.
- Sa (6/5): - シャワーカーテンが無かった。
- Orammeharg (8/5): Lovely pool - We stayed at the villa for 8 nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small no closet space. The shower is installed next to the toilet ( no separate stall). The lightening was poor making it difficult to read. Internet was very slow.
On a positive note . The pool was a welcome event after visiting the temples. Breakfast was fresh. Choices on menu. There is a nice court yard and sitting area on each floor. Walking distance to markets.
- Allyn79 (6/5): Convenient & Clean - Overall our visit was quite good. Standard of room was good for price paid. Service was good.
However we had booked the family room as we are 2 adults & 3 children (2 under 5yrs old), but arrived to find we had been assigned 2 separate rooms. The excuse given was they thought we we 4 adults! Not sure how as it clearly stated on the booking confirmation 2 adult & 3 children. Fortunately on our second night we were able to move into the family room.
Breakfast was ok. But too bad if you don’t like fried eggs & toast as that is the only choices. The fresh fruit served with the eggs was nice though.
- 380ja (6/5): Stayed a week - It was nice and clean, the wifi was slow however who cares we are on holidays. It’s a bit far in the dark from the market although only a $1 tuk tuk rise. Would recommend it’s great value and the staff try to be very helpful
- andrewjY2773KL (10/5): Almost perfect! - I’m came over from Thailand for my friends wedding in Siem Reap.
Well I just can’t enough good things about this.
The rooms, small bit but clean and all in working order.
Breakfast, again basic, but good and for the money.
The restaurant food is very nice and reasonably priced.
But what made the place is the staff, so friendly and helpful;
I was late for breakfast a couple of times but was no problem.
I was still in my room at 2pm but the still cleaned my room.
I ended up staying a few days later but was not a problem.
They were always smiling and pleased to help.
The swimming pool and surrounding area was clean.
Would recommend for solo or small groups no problem, but small for families with “small” children ( no sure rooms are big enough but can check)
- Jswitts (8/5): Fantastic and comfortable place to stay in Siem Reap at a great price! - If i could, i would give this 4.5 /5. I stayed in this hotel for a total of five nights and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect base to visit all the sights in Siem Reap.
POSITIVES:
- Great price/quality.
- Lovely swimming pool in the front entrance, perfect after a day of sight seeing.
- Great accommodating staff who do anything for you to make your stay better.
- Fantastic breakfast included in the price.
- Comfortable room with TV, fridge, hangars and a large, comfortable double bed.
- Great location, 10 minute walk to the central markets and pub street but far enough away from all the noise if you want to get away from it all.
- I was able to get a reasonably priced tuk tuk outside to take me to the temples (15 dollars for the whole day).
- Tip, I went to the Kompong Pluk floating village and thought it was a bit of a rip off. I was travelling solo and they charged me 30 euros. I would choose another floating village or activity when you are in Siem Reap.
I don't really have anything negative to say about this place. It is a family run hotel who, in my opinion, are doing everything right.
- Iii55 (2/5): WORST massage ever - I went to this place to have a 60 mins full body massage. From the beginning I got a strange feeling when the massager made some fake cry sound when she had to give me a massage. I anyway followed her to the room and there was a mattress on the floor. The lady started the massage and after 5 minutes she laid down between my legs and leaned on my hip pretending to do some massage thing. I waited for a minute and then looked at her and she was chatting on a phone?? She looked back to me, pointed her arm on my hip and said ”5 minutes, okay?”. After couple minutes she continued the massage for 2-3 minutes and put my leg to some stretching position, started to chat on the phone again and pretended to do the massage. I again waited for a moment and then looked at her and got the same answer ”5 minutes, okay?”. I felt so uncomfortable as I could feel her anger and didn’t want to be impolite. After couple more minutes just laying there & no massage I asked her if I could just leave, and she didn’t even care. So eventually I left after 10 minutes ”massage” and paid the full amount. I have never felt so uncomfortable and experienced this bad massage anywhere in Asia.
- tracypang (8/5): Good location - Close to pub street. Lots of places to eat nearby. Room was clean. Only the toilet could have been separated as the whole place is wet after a shower. Placement of shower head was funny. Other than that, it was okay
- Cambotripper (10/5): A gem in the city - A fantastic stay in this beautiful small hotel - in fact we enjoyed it so much we booked an additional night!! The location is great - an easy walk or tuk tuk ride into the centre, the reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the pool is a godsend!! A gem in the city.
- 965means (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! - We love everything about this hotel...evryone (inclding the owner) is extremly welcoming, we felt very comforttable at moment they pick us up from the airport, our room was magnifiction and the pool is fabulous, central location with less than 10 minutes walk to pub street. much better than i expected.
- james (10/5): siem reib - very nice smaller place, very clean pool area with nice seatin, always nice breakfast ncluded in stayr
- ptitgar1 (2/5): Not good - From my previous advice, the owner speak about the price of 15$/night for AC room.
Unfortunately the owner ask 22$/night for AC room. And nobody use the AC because it's old and smelling.
Really, really not a good place to stay.
- 661ksenian (6/5): It depends - We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in the end of May'18. The first evening we saw and killed several cockroaches in the bathroom, we informed the reception, they were very suprised and said they never had them before and changed the room for us. Perhaps it is true as when I read reviews I did not see anyone saying about them so perhaps we were just very “lucky”. After that we did not see them so we stayed in the hotel. The room is okay, but the shower is not separated in the bathroom - so when you take a shower the whole floor is wet in the bathroom and toliet as well. Staff is pretty helpful. But WIFI did not work in the room, very bad connection, you could catch internet only near reception. We did not take breakfast so do not know about the quality. So overall, with our experience, we would not come back there. PS.
They really need to fix WiFi as it is pretty important nowadays.
- RockingTravelQueen (2/5): Harassment and Bad Behavior by Staff - Upon check-in there was a Tuk Tuk driver sitting in the lobby of this hotel. He disguised himself as the check-in staff, and was asking me about my trip. I though it was the check-in staff so I told him I was relaxing and staying in. Then the check-in staff arrived and checked me in. The Tuk Tuk driver proceeds to follow me back to my room, and harassed me trying to get me to take a Tuk Tuk. I was THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED and he then suddenly BECAME ANGRY AT ME, "DON'T YOU DARE TAKE A BIKE, TAKE MY TUK TUK IF YOU THINK YOU ARE LEAVING". He literally THREATENED me, and attempted to assert control over me. This entire experience was slimy and creepy AND RIDICULOUS. SIEM REAP and this hostel, appear to encourage this type of behavior where male Tuk Tuk drivers are allowed to creep on single foreign women in hotels and on the street. Not to mention how bad the room was. When I entered it, it was full of mold, and smelled disgusting and damp. The hotel restaurant was the worst meal I've ever had in my life. A stale tomato sandwich that made me choke. 6 USD. This hotel was just one of the last and horrific creepy encounters in Cambodia. I could not wait to leave. AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE STAFF IS INAPPROPRIATE AND ENCOURAGES HARASSMENT OF FOREIGN WOMEN BY CAMBODIAN MEN.
- ptitgar1 (2/5): Not good - For the same price, you can get much better than this hostel. The swimming pool looks nice but the water is very dirty and smelling. The owner she is piker. The room are OK.
The keys of the room are accessible on the desk, you can choose which on you want, no body care.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Quiet stay - Beds were very hard. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value, very nice hotel - Great staff, nice pool, accessible to downtown
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The rooms are very basic, the small pool area was nice enough, breakfast was not great, the only decent member of staff was Suoanny hope I spelt it right, she was lovely with a warm smile for
- Shelley (6/5): Ok but costly with breakfast not included. - It was ok. Make sure you have proof your breakfast is included. Walk out and turn right there are other places a couple of buildings away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet place to stay whike visiting Angkor - We spent only two nights, so it was important to be close to the center but in a qiet place. The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the old market. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the small pool with its cool water was a real bonus, just like the cold beer at the pool side. Next time we will chose this hotel again!
- Monique (8/5): Nice hotel. Good location. - Staff was super nice. They did everything to accommodate us. Breakfast was good. A few mosquitoes in the bedroom. It was great to have the pool to cool off.
- Thomas (8/5): Great stay - Great little hotel nice swimming pool and good breakfast included
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place room staff breakfast pool all great
- Jalal (2/5): Hotel staffs enforcing to take transport (tuktuk) - This is really a expensive one. You can have better hotel with this price around the place. But the worst part is hotel staff. They enforce you take transport from them. After check in manager came to our room with the tuktuk driver to hire him for next day.
Next day when we plan to visit Angkor Wat they bring a Tuktuk and ask to fix the price. The driver says its 7$ and hotel staff saying its the standard price. Thought it was 5$. Same thing happens for full day tour they says its 22$ though we found it by 15$ just outside of the hotel. Manager also enforcing us by saying they are cheap. It would be expensive to take tuktuk from out side. After we denied, their attitude changed. Never behaved well for rest of the stay.
- james (10/5): nice quiet hotel, very very nice everything, very pr - so very clean and comfortable
- james (10/5): cambodia - very very nice, great breakfast, not far walk to everything maybe 7 minutes up over the bridge and follow the river to the left
- arthur (8/5): - Holiday
- Jon (4/5): Need improvements - Where do I start. The staff was nice but somewhat inexperienced. I've checked into the room and they had a little plant in some water...but the water was filthy. It looked like there was some science experiment going on there. I've asked to be replaced which they did. They had a large bathroom but was very bare, waste of space and the shower had practically no water pressure at all. The water ran like if I chose to open the knob about 5% of the way, no joking. Took a while just to wet my hair. The shampoo and conditioner bottle was soo old and refilled without ever cleaning it up that it had crusts all over it. I've stayed in better hostels. p.s. no safe in the rooms.
