When I booked it I didn't realize it was the same property we would take the kids to when they were small, so brought back some nostalgia on a mom and daughter trip. Definitely nice to have the full kitchen available and the room was clean and exactly what we needed as a place to lay our heads for a few days.

- Karen (10/5): - We stayed at the Beach Motel one night, while passing through to our final destination. Booking on-line was easy and check-in was seamless. The staff are very friendly. The location is very quiet and walking distance to the park, beach, restaurants, coffee shops and a great pub. We had a room for two with a queen size bed and kitchenette. The only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable would be an upgrade to the mattress. The springs can be felt and are little squeaky. The price was very reasonable and we would stay there again.

- Mohammad (10/5): - We recently stayed at Beachside Motel in Penticton and had a pleasant experience. We booked three one-bedroom suites. The biggest advantage is definitely the location—just steps from Skaha Beach, which makes it super convenient for families and anyone wanting to enjoy the lake. It’s also a lot quieter than Okanagan Lake. 3 minutes drive from Walmart, 7 minutes from Canadian Superstore. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. The motel offers handy amenities such as air conditioning, two queen beds with a sofa bed (easily accommodating a family of four), an outdoor eating and BBQ area, and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, which are great for longer stays. That said, the rooms are a bit dated and could use some upgrades, but they were clean and comfortable, which was what mattered most for us. The rates are also quite reasonable compared to other places in the area. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, family-oriented stay near the beach, Beachside Motel is a solid choice.

They overcharged very much for each of the two rooms because they could, and I did not find it suitable for an adult with 3 children. I had to sleep on the floor.

The rooms need some work as they feel old and tired. The beds need updating as they have no support anymore. The parking is unassigned and is first come each day.

- Shy_D03 (10/5): Check this place out ! - The second I pulled into the parking lot I regretted not bringing my dogs ! The parking lot had a dog treat truck!! The lady running the truck was super friendly! The motel was dog friendly and clean !! For being a dog friendly motel it didnt smell at all like wet dog or anything .The ladies at the front desk were polite and knowledgeable! Our room was air conditioned and the beds were comfortable! I was definitely expecting a lot less for the price . The man who I believe could of been the owner or manager was kind and friendly even helping me park my truck onto an awkward spot. Its across from a nice park and close to skaha lake, there is an area in the center where you can bbq or hang out ...it is about a 10min walk to the closest store but a nice evening stroll ...definitely recommend this place for a place to lay your head while making summer memories !

Across the street, Fido can enjoy a lush and grassy off leash dog area. To make the stay more comfortable we always bring a few extra things from home like tea towels, paper towels and dish soap. The one bedroom suites are well equipped and look out onto a common courtyard, this space is well enjoyed by guests. Have stayed here year after year and my husband and I always leave happy.

Very noisy can hear above and beside. Tv not plugged in and had to set up. For an over $300 a night with taxes room, this is just wrong. Come on Canada!

I suppose it was clean but I wouldn’t walk around without shoes. Every piece of furniture was either thrifted or hasn’t been replaced since the 1970’s. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is location.

Only downsides were parking (should you have a larger vehicle, my half ton was a tight fit) and they could use some new mattresses. Otherwise, great stay. Kind & welcoming employees.

- Monica (10/5): Perfect in my mind!! - The desk clerk/staff were very pleasant with a very friendly banter right at the get go ~ I loved that! Located within a very short distance of the highway, it was a convenient stopover on my road trip and parking was right outside my door! This was a great facility with a dog friendly park right across the street. It was nice to be able to find a place within a short walking distance that I could take my boy out for a potty break late at night and feel safe doing that (the fact that he is a German Shepherd didn't hurt either LOL) Although small, the room was comfortable, clean, quiet and very reasonably priced. Checkout was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again!

- Lois (4/5): - Very expensive for what we received. Windows had no screens so no air flow. Could not open door because the flies were so bad. Had to buy a fly swatter for flies already in the room. Really old uncomfortable mattress. Stayed in Canada for six days, and this was the worst and most expensive place we stayed in.

- THOMASV831 (8/5): Perfect Family vacation - Decided to do a nice weekend getaway to Penticton with the family and this motel happened to be available for our stay and we definitely weren't disappointed. The location to skaha Beach was better than we could've Imagined! The staff here was incredibly friendly and always very helpful, they always went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home and we had everything we needed. Talking to a lot of the the guests, they have stayed there every year for the past 10-20 years and it's easy to see why. I'm hoping to make this or annual family vacation spot as well. The beds and pillows need to be updated a little bit other than that our room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

- WILLIAM (8/5): - The motel is just a few steps away from the beach. I love the picnic area, bbq, and the nightlights in the middle of the property. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The building needs an update but the condition isn't too crazy. Plenty of parking spots. The indoor pool and hot tub were in renovation so I could not use them. The e-scooters are on-site for rent. The mattresses were terrible. It was more than soft. I think the wire springs in the mattresses were broken.

Bedroom attire needs to be updated . Love the kitchen suite . Smoke detector is a bit sensitive when cooking . Kitchen should include salt & pepper shakers , cookie sheet or something to bake on . Pool out of swrvice this trip . Hopefully get to try it next time in town .

- Robert (8/5): - Pros: Nicely renovated bathroom for the price of the room. Location is close to beach and has easy access to the highway and main roads. Good stay for the price. Cons: Room was very small. Took a bit to figure out the a/c. Wifi was good but no space to do work on computer except on the bed.
