Camera in stile con il tipo di struttura, comoda e pulita. Colazione di ottimo livello. Unica cosa da segnalare, la scomodità di spostarti per la colazione nell'hotel 4 stelle sempre di proprietà della struttura. Hotel molto bello e vicino. Per un prossimo viaggio vale la pena soggiornare direttamente nell'hotel 4 stelle, sicuramente più comodo e di livello superiore.

Laura (7/5): - Posizione tranquilla nel cuore di Pollenzo, edificio storico molto ben tenuto, camera pulitissima, bagno perfettamente funzionante, personale molto cordiale. Prezzo decisamente eccessivo. In bagno non ci sono piani di appoggio per il beauty personale. È stato certamente un incidente, ma il personale addetto è entrato nella camera mentre io ero a letto. In una struttura di questo livello (e a questo prezzo) mi aspetto certamente più attenzione.

Cecilia (10/5): Nice place - The whole area was very beautiful and well kept. There were 2 hotels, private Gastronomic University, church and Roman remains. The sister hotel was 4 star and had a nice restaurant and bar. Something you shouldn’t miss is the “wine bank” where they store ca 100000 bottles of wine from different parts of Italy. You are able to visit and they have wine tasting and a shop. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff provided suggestions on places to visit and restaurants. Good sized room that was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great with a large selection to choose from.

Very good hotel restaurant. Breakfast with lot of choices. Wine bank/La banca del vino with possibility of wine tasting in th same building. Fine dining restaurant Scuderia Sabaude in walking distance. Very good option for trips to surrounding wine regions - Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero. Nothing important.

L'unica pecca è la colazione che va fatta nell'albergo vicino, e bisogna percorrere mezzo chilometro per raggiungerlo, comunque colazione fantastica!

Petit déjeuner copieux, c'est juste dommage qu'il ne soit pas servi sur la terrasse. Pour un court séjour, le lieu parfait pour visiter les alentours.

Easily accessible with plenty of parking, beautiful grounds, excellent restaurant, plentiful buffet for breakfast. The only negative part was having been assigned a two-floor room with just the bed on the second/loft level. It would have been quite unpleasant to have to use the bathroom during the night and have to walk down stairs to reach the bathroom. If I had been alerted of this option at the time I booked I would have asked for a regular room with bed and bathroom on the same level.

De plus, beaucoup parlent très bien français. Le fait de profiter des infrastructures de l Agenzia est un vrai plus. Excellent restaurant.
wengenbound (6/5): Basic and average - We were dumped here by our Back Roads tour. Our room was basic , University dorm standard, quite a way out of town. All meals were taken in another building about 400 metres away. The actual buildings in this refurbished monastery are very impressive and now part of a private university that teaches the Slow Cooking gourmet style of cuisine, including an amazing wine bank. Folk that wax eloquently about this hotel are rather taken by these latter attractions. Do be aware that the property also has a full 5 star hotel not to be confused by the el cheapo hotel Back Roads provided on our 'luxury' tour.

They have installed an alternative intercom to the front/security desk, but they haven't disabled the regular doorbell. If they disabled that, it'd be perfect: comfortable room, good bathroom, good breakfast, very friendly staff, very well located to the Tuscany area.

patc837 (6/5): Not My Cup of Tea - We stayed here for one night as part of a Back Roads tour. It was really strange, 2 hotels in one, almost like rich here, poor there. Dinner is available across the courtyard at the other hotel & I can honestly say the set meal we were give was the best I have eaten since coming to Italy 2 weeks ago. Breakfast was poor & again out the door & down the road! Our room was adequate & the bathroom small. There is a "wine bank" within the complex which us run by the university & worth a visit. Free wi fi really sums up a second rate hotel.
117justusv (10/5): Great hotel in astonishing environment - Very warm welcome, beautiful and spacious room and all this in an astonishing environment, on the campus of the University of Gastronomic Studies and close to a great Wine Cave and a wellness center. The small village of Pollenzo offers an interesting historic quarter and a very good restaurant, everything within 5 minutes walking distance.

12katharines (6/5): A few days in Pollenzo - The hotel is well located for those visiting the little lovely town of Pollenzo however I took issue with it's ties with the Slow Food Movement not really coming through in the quality and offerings of the hotel. For the price we paid I think they are taking advantage of their location but do have a lot of promise - I hope to see changes the hotel makes in future.
theenglishc (6/5): Good location to go around for white truffles (and good wines...) - The hotel was reasonably priced (we did book 3 rooms for 3 nights more than a month in advance, given the white truffles season) and easily accessible from the highway (at least compared to others we've been staying in). Please note it is located in Pollenzo (which is part of Bra but has its own name on the GPS) A previous traveller commented there wasn't much and it was kind of boring...it should be clear that this is purely a 'base camp' from which you move in the region for food and wine. Within 15 to 20 kms you reach all the major food and drink spots (Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, etc etc) Our rooms had a problem on arrival, some sort of sewage smell probably coming up from the bathroom pipes - after ventilation and deodorant spray (by the very efficient staff) this was dealt with. The staff has been great and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, a bit tight on certain items on a busy morning but otherwise in line with what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. Parking within the grounds is plentiful.
erchurch (6/5): Kinda Boring - There is nothing to hate, but nothing to rave about here. Hotel was somewhat attractive and well-located within the town, but there is very little to see and do. The adjacent winery (excellent tour) and hotel were about the only other attractions. We had dinner at the other hotel, and it was much nicer. Our room here was small and dated. It felt a bit like a nice college dormitory. The view was nice, with the church and the slow food school, but far from exciting. Staff was fine. Mehh.
