Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ordered a room for 3 people and was given a king bed with a twin mattress on the floor. Not very comfortable for the price and a 5 star hotel. People were very nice.
- Amjad (8/5): - Easy access, quite neighborhood, clean, good food, well maintained, plenty of parking space
- Amani (8/5): very comfortable stay in Ramallah - Staff at Grand Park Hotel were extremely nice and welcoming. Rooms are big and comfortable with easy parking access if you are arriving by car. The dining areas are not smoke-free which is the only criticism I could find for this hotel. Restaurant was good and portions are very generous.
- Abed (10/5): Grand park ramallah - Overall good experience, staff where very helpfull , breakfast was below par, they could do much better in quality service and over all offerings. Room and cleanliness was at par.
- Riad (10/5): - nice
- Meri (6/5): Unclean - The room was unclean they gave us a new room but also the second was unclean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not professional staff. Food and beverages are not in a good quality
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the room. Spacious, well designed and comfortable. What I didn’t like is the erratic functioning of the TV and the fact that most of the machines in the gym were not functioning
- Dominik (10/5): Amazing service - Service is beyond everything, and that’s what I have found there. From the check in up till the check out the service was amazing.
Thank you Rose for taking good care of us thank you Mohamed thank you every single one of you. Sorry I forgot all the names. I’ll be back in March see you then
- Alfred (8/5): Good hotel for business - Fruit platter was a nice welcome gesture, but not on my last day. Breakfast could have better coffee
- Rebecca (10/5): - Very comfortable, convenient and good service. Rooms are nice and I would stay there again.
- Samir (8/5): - Quite and close to city center and the room was spacious and convenient.
TVs don’t work.
- Kunal (4/5): - The hotel has a good street presence and has a pretty decent lobby, bar area. The room itself was not bad either. However for a 4 or 5 star hotel, this falls seriously short. Here are some reasons why:
- I had two reservations for 2 individual nights with a different rate for both nights. The checkin staff refused to initially honor that rate and were pretty condescending and passive aggressive in saying no. I kept saying that I have a reservation through expedia (which they couldn’t find) and I kept saying them that I can show them my rate that I have booked, but it’s as if the check in staff were not listening. Frustrating to say the least. Any 4 or 5 star hotel would not talk to a guest like they did.
- Housekeeping service was terrible. Asked for extra towels - never came. Asked them to come pick laundry for ironing - never came. Called multiple times. Level of disfunction high.
- Bathroom in the room was really small. Really oddly shaped too.
- Toilet was leaking water. Considering the water problems in the West Bank, you would expect this to be a non issue.
Overall, I’d not stay here again, nor advocate this hotel to others.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall good experience.
Staff needs more customer service training.
- Mohammed (8/5): - Good,,,,,,,,
- Shakir (6/5): ترشيحا - اعتقدنا انه يوجد في الفندق بركة سباحه ولكن للاسف لا يوجد كما هو مصور التي رايناها والاولاد غضبو كتيرا
- Stephen (10/5): Really a delight for the price! - They greeted with a drink; best latte I have had in a long time. Very clean and comfy room.
- Suheir (8/5): Awesome - Pleasurable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The service is really thoughtful and people are very nice. When some problem occurs, they solve it immediately.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with a nice swimming pool. - Nice swimming pool but lack of entertainment at the hotel and nearby.
- Erik Sundblad (4/5): Don't come for the pool - Clean, spacious and comfortable hotel. However, pool might not be open as it's often reserved for wedding parties and other groups of people. If open, expect absolute mayhem, with large crowds of people.
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Haifa (10/5): - Manager Mohamed is amazing and super personable
Same with Summer at front office
- Muffin (8/5): - So far so good! I'm sure it's the best hotel in the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not worth the price. - The staff could be a little friendly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was clean, the facilities OK. I did not like the service provided by the reception staff. I could not get the invoice before the check-out, when I got it, the document did not bear my surname. The same wrong document was printed twice despite that they had a photocopy of my passport. I was late for a business meeting, because of the problem and later on I stated that the amount on the invoice was different that the one which was charged to my credit card. Consequently, I have problems with the reimbursement of costs. Despite a good quality of the room, this was a frustrating experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): super friendly staff - Nice clean hotel, excellent super friendly staff, very helpful and cooperative.. nice location, clean and comfortable rooms.
- Hakim (6/5): Close to shopping and entertainment. - Check was easy. Friendly staff. Parking was easily accessable and available.
- randy (10/5): Homey - They makes you feel home , every one trying to do some thing
Friendly nice people
- Shada (8/5): Nice Hotel! - This hotel was a good place to stay for a week. The staff was very friendly and they were so willing to be helpful. The only negative thing was that we were delayed in getting our room at check in because the people before us were late and the hotel had to wait for them to leave. Otherwise it was a very pleasant dart and I do recommend it!
- Family (8/5): Quite comfortable and pleasant! - The rooms were very comfortable, and the service was very good. The only reason why I didn't give complete excellent on all my ratings because our check in was delayed beyond scheduled times, and the rooms were not near each other as I requested. ( I reserved 2 rooms).
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice experiance - at all good experiance the pool was closed will open soon
but good hotel at all
- Lama (10/5): - Apart from having to pay additional fees for each person, everything was good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A different experience - The hotel claims to be 5 star, but it is closer to 3 star by any reasonable standard. The rooms are comfortable enough; it is the dining that disappoints the most. The 'all-day dining' restaurant opens only for breakfast, otherwise meals must be taken on the terrace, which can be fairly cool during winter. The chef at breakfast is often difficult to find. I mentioned in my previous review that there is always something missing from the breakfast spread, and this varies from day to day. One of the excitements is guessing what it will be: bread, milk, butter, olives, coffee - you name it, they will have overlooked it at some stage. Generally, though, the breakfast is okay; just don't order scrambled or fried eggs, as these are not in the chef's repertoire (unless you are lucky enough to have the barman/general factotum cook them for you). The location of the hotel is a little out of the way, so taxis are a necessity.
- Steve (6/5): Could try harder - Rooms are pretty much what you would expect in a chain hotel and offer the usual - in-room safe, free WiFi, flat screen TV with numerous channels, video-on-demand (pay, but not expensive) - plus tea and coffee making facilities. One oddity is that the flooring is rather ill-fitting carpet tiles. Room cleaning is a bit perfunctory, but okay, although greater use could be made of the vacuum cleaner.
The restaurant appears to be open only for breakfast, which is mainly Middle Eastern in style. The chef can be hard to find and doesn't know how to scramble or fry eggs, but appears to be able to manage omelettes. Invariably something is absent from the buffet, but this varies from day to day: milk one day, bread the next, butter, olives, or even just serving utensils.
The bar and lounge staff are very good. The barman, by the way, can cook fried eggs - he sometimes has to step in when the chef goes missing. Unfortunately, the lounge is frequently used as a 'studio' for interviews by one of the local TV stations and cannot be used by guests. The so-called "all day dining" takes place in the enclosed terrace, which is where people sit with sheeshas chatting or listening to Arab / Lebanese pop. It can get a bit cool at night. There is a reasonable range of dishes on the menu and the prices are not too high. There is another restaurant attached to the hotel, Fakhr El-Dinh, which offers a broad range of Middle Eastern dishes and is more expensive.
- MUHANNAD (6/5): Bad customer service - Customer service is bad , room never was ready , no help with luggage
- Mousa (6/5): Not recommended - Rooms and bedding not clean and I mean it , you should ask them twice to bring the children beds , you should ask them to bring towels after they clean the room , at the bar they took every day a different amount for coffee. They don't have achocolate milk and pancake for the children even though they said that yes they have . Swimming pool was good they bring a towels .
Checkout was terrible even thought I had already paid through hotels.com
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent customer service. Good location and eorth the money.
- Peter (10/5): Comfortable, luxury hotel close to city centre - We found the room very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we particularly liked the coffee shop where we also enjoyed delicious light meals.
- KK (10/5): Business hotel - Excellent facilities for a business visit. Good location and nice breakfast.
- traveller (10/5): Good business hotel - Excellent restaurant and terrace for entertaining. Good standard rooms and facilities. Excellent free wifi. Within a short taxi ride of the centre.
- Carlos (8/5): Buen hotel, bien situado y estilo occidental - Muy buen alojamiento en Ramala, el desayuno muy completo y son bastante cómodas las habitaciones, una buena elección en Ramala.
- marwan (10/5): Its very nice hotel comparing to others in Ramalla - Rooms are spacious , clean , nice location with good facilities and clean atmosphere.
