• Alexander (8/5): Basic but comfortable. - Pretty much exactly what you’d expect. Nothing fancy, but certainly not a dump. For the price paid I think it was an excellent value and I’d happily stay here again.

• Imran (8/5): Nice, clean budget motel - Staff were friendly and check in was quick and hassle free. There was even some flexibility with check out timings which we appreciated. WiFi worked. The mattress had a protective cover on it which put our worries to rest. Bathroom was adequate and clean. Mini fridge in room was great to have. Parking was good. Cute (albeit small) pool. Easy access to eateries etc. The lighting and decor were a bit dated.

• Terence (8/5): - The Flamingo is an 'old school' 60"s motel that is owned and operated by a very friendly family. The suite we had a kitchen and private bedroom. The place was ultra clean and extremely quiet. The location is excellent for downtown, lake access, shopping, restaurants and a pub. The pub across the street was great fun. I booked the same room for next summer. They need a new toaster.

• Arlen (9/5): Excellent customer service - The front desk guy was very respectful and accommodating. A mistake happened between what we booked and what was given us, but he never came across defensive, but rather apologized, and helped us with the resulting needs. Thank you.

• Janice (5/5): Was just okay - We stayed for 5 nights. The location was good, and the room was relatively quiet. There was ample parking. Bed and pillows were not that comfortable, so not much sleep the first two nights. The condition of the room was okay, but there could have been a bit more attention to detail. Paint was peeling off the bathroom wall. The heater in the bathroom was covered in dust with a dead spider. The second dead spider was spotted behind the toilet, and a live spider appeared in the bathtub during our stay. Also, around the front door to the room was cobwebs filled with bugs and what looked like little spider eggs. The bathroom was also very small. You had to stand right against the bathtub to close the door, and the sink was located outside of the bathroom. One thing we found kind of odd... We never saw any cleaning staff during our stay. In conclusion: The price reflected the condition of the units. It was just okay. However, most likely, will not stay there in the future. Beds were quite hard, and pillows not very comfortable. Bathroom was lacking cleanliness.

• Eduardo (8/5): Really good place to stay! - Honest Price. Easy Check-in. Great Location. Comfort and clean room. I would come back here for sure, with no hesitation. There were moments when the noise from outside was really bugging us, coming from both of our neighbours.

Great shower and clean refreshed bathroom. New flooring. Driveway access is difficult. Limited and tight parking. Rooms could use an update on paint and trim.

• Jamieson (8/5): - IT WAS CLEAN, QUIET, COMFY BEDS. THERE WAS NO MUSIC. NOT A RADIO OR EVEN A MUSIC STATION ON TV. THERE WAS NO WALL PLUGS FOR HAIR DRYER IN BATHROOM AND THE BEDROOM PLUG WAS TOO FAR FROM THE MIRROR.
• Sherilee Heidi (9/5): Great value! SUPER clean pool - This was a nice little respite on our roadtrip. There was four of us in the group and we had cups and dishes for all of us. We stayed at a much more expensive place and had to fight for four of each of mugs etc. This was not the case at this place. Well stocked. The pool was perfect as we were hot at end of day. It was clean and well kept. This is not a 5 star resort. It is a motel but it has everything we needed and clean. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a good stop. Our only hindsight would to have requested they start the a/c in the room an hour before we got there. We understand they cannot run it all the time.
