Although it is not near the city centre, there are shops and restaurants as well as a small shopping mall within walking distance of the hotel. No complaints.

- Rhys (6/5): Not my favourite hotel in China - Arrived at the hotel close to mid night due to flight delays. Unlike other hotels, the entire hotel was in complete darkness, except the reception counters. Not the best first impression. The AC in the room seems to be centrally controlled and the temperature wasn’t able to be adjusted. The hotel sent a portable AC to my room on the 2nd night, but I ended up sleeping with the windows opened in the end. There’s a nice bath tub in the room. The water pressure of the hot water outlet was very low in both the shower n the tub, until I called the hotel to service them in the 4th night.

- A3639LCryano (10/5): First time here - The minute I walked in the hotel it was very welcoming. The staff is very helpful with anything you need. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was amazing with just about any option you wanted from western to Chinese. Dinner options were less than impressive but not bad either. Just walk around the block and you can find anything you want.

- Samuel (8/5): Great experience, would visit again! - Location is in the middle of the bussiness centre, you have a lot to do around, The hotel is nice clean and modern, has a huge gym and a pool. FYI: don't forget your head cap for swimming, you will be not allowed to swimm in the pool. Also the are around the hotel was very safe and beautiful. I don't recall any bad experience connected to the hotel.

My colleagues on the same floor also said their ac wasn’t working. So that’s a very basic thing. Room interior design was odd - referring to placement and location of wash basin, commode, shower. - Daydream19321964640 (10/5): Staying at this hotel for the first time and coming to Nanjing for the first time as well, I was impressed by both. xxx - The cleanliness here is very good, changing the sheets and arranging new things every day. Other services are not bad, able to answer questions that are understandable. Cleaning staff are easy to talk to and friendly. I came with my family and being a Thai person here was able to communicate with me in English.
- 钟远 (9/5): A great place to stay - Everything. Room is very clean, new and confortable, room service 10/10 as well as the delivery robot - he's the best! Amazing breakfast with local delicacies that changes everyday. Very nice gym and pool. The location is fantastic - you can go walking to the JiangNing 1912 commercial area, but you enjoy a classical and quiet neighbourhood for morning walks by the lake. Almost nothing - it would be great if the air could be turned off entirely to avoid a cold but I understand that it's for ventilation purposes.

- 365sumal (8/5): Nanjing Revisited - Stayed here again since an earlier visit in 2015 and received the same warm welcome to a clean, well maintained room and the sumptuous breakfast with wide western and Chinese variety. However the dinner and lunch options are rather limited from the Chinese restaurant as the ground floor western options are no longer available. Better western variety can be found within walking distance at the nearby malls and the 1912 entertainment area.

- Shawn (6/5): Hot room for a high price. - The location was good. Breakfast was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of toiletries. The bath was large and it filled quickly. The overall layout was good. When I arrived at the hotel there was a note waiting for me. I was not given the ability to control the air temperature, specifically the air conditioner. I was told to open the windows. Even with the windows open the room was too hot. I called the front desk and they brought up a loud low quality fan. It barely took the edge off. This is supposed to be a premium hotel, yet not allowing customers to control the temperature of their rooms is unacceptable.

- LEI (10/5): 99% Recommend to u guys - Check-in process was fast and great. They provide us 2 cans of soda water. The location was nice and close to Baijiahu Lake, just a 10-min walk could get to entertainment place like Kingmo and 1912 bars area. You can get everything but tissue from your room. It might be the only thing that make this trip imperfect.
- Christerekholm (10/5): Lounge staff is so nice - Lounge staff are so nicest what I have meet in Chinese hotels. Many of those can speak English and can help if have problems. I give special mention to Joy who was always so eager to make feel comfortable and did extra mile to solve all my problems. During COVID time hotel lounge is closed and only option for dinner is Chinese food. This is problem to customers who eat only western food.

Lobby and bar are inviting with nice music in both. Room was interesting and luxurious. Tip: To drain sinks, push down on the plunger. It will pop back up.

- Richy_gtown (10/5): Easy place to stay and get around after work - It’s a nice hotel, there is always someone to help you with getting around and English. It’s a short walk to the metro station to get about, but a right turn out the front of the hotel and short walk over the bridge you can enter 1912 district with bars and western food if desired. There are major shopping malls in the same direction, king mo and golden eagle both have a large variety of shops and eating. It’s busy and vibrant in this location. Hotel WiFi is good and later he selection of foods with in. The pool is nice, the gym is ok slightly dated.

It is 300 m away from Xinjiekou metro station, from where you can reach almost any destination in Nanjing very cheaply (around 3 Yuan). There are many quality shopping malls around and you may find numerous bars and restaurants. However hotel rooms are very aged and need immediate renovation. Do not plan to go to pool or spa area - I do not recommend. Gym is OK. Besides that everything is fine. Breakfast offer also European type of food.

- 293leighh (10/5): 5 night Business Trip Staying at Crown Plaza Nanjing Jiangning - I have just returned after spending 5 nights staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Nanjing. The room was really nice and the bed really comfortable and very big. The view from the room was straight across the lake and in the evenings when the buildings etc were all lit up the view was great. During my stay I really enjoyed the service and food for breakfast in the mornings and the range of food / drinks available was really nice with something for everybody. In the evening in the hotel bar area there was entertainment each evening and the drinks were slightly more expensive than around Nanjing. The food in the bar was very good as well and would recommend the steaks as they are lovely. All in all I would definitely go back to this hotel if I was to visit Nanjing again.

Staff were extremely friendly and there was a lovely little park just across the road where our toddler could run. Would certainly stay here again!

The room is very bad, there is a musty smell inside, the hot and cold water is unstable, it will burn me, and the room has no shoehorns. The whole room is super stuffy, airtight, and the air conditioner does not. The method is adjusted, the waiter will knock at the door inexplicably, and the attitude of the front desk attendant at check-out is also super bad. Only the restaurant's breakfast is good, and the service is very good, I will never come again.

Only one remark, they called me three times from the service desk one afternoon, asking me the same question, if I wanted my room cleaned. I had put the do not disturb sign on the door knob and wanted to sleep. The gym is good and well equipped. Close to shopping and metro and within walking distance to entertainment area 1912.

The breakfast is rich with local and international variety. The bar is excellent with fresh beer as well lots of international wines. Even live music is there.

Asked for a non-smoking room and got a very stale-smelling room with an overpowering smell of old smoke. Same for my business partner. After a long work day I would have liked a room I was ok with going back to. Spoiled the stay.

- Verified traveler (8/5): The best in Jianning - This is currently the best hotel in Jianning, I've seen one Marriott(not open yet) right across street. But that one's along side the high street which inevitably will be noisy. The staff, facility, room, cleanness and surroundings are all very well, needless to say it's very close to metro station. I deeply recommended it.
- Robyn (10/5): Busy time but great.. - Overall it was a great stay for the holiday . So many people but the staff went out of their way to help us. We have lived in China for 4 years so understood the holiday but if you were a traveller for the first time you would of hated it. Ammenities were fine staff helpful.. Food was great even though you might of missed somthing at the smorgasbord due to the hoards .. As many of the reviews have said the hotel is away from the sights but away from the tourist area. Taxis are not expensive and the subway is really close. you can get a Starbucks coffee if you want .. The tourist thing to say...if you plan on going to the Nanjing mascre memorial museum GET THERE early....
