If I have to write something, we went out on the night and came back and there was only one parking space right round the back, but it wasn’t really a problem.

• Rukshan (9/5): - The bathroom is new and clean. The bed is uncomfortable, and the pillows are too small. Feels like you are slipping without pillows.
• Mark (8/5): Clean, loads of parking and good restaurants nearby - Good bed, annoying it was on wheels so it moved around the room which was entertaining. Was fairly central to town. Lovely lady on reception who could not do enough to help and always smiled which makes a huge difference There was really nowhere to sit apart from outside and have a drink but as the weather was OK we sat outside -
• jacqui (3/5): Misrepresentation- There is no restaurant or bar! - The reception staff were very friendly and helpful There is no bar or restaurant as advertised under their facilities. Having somewhere to eat in the hotel is one of our key requirements and booked this hotel based on what was advertised. Breakfast was not great and delivered to our room due to no restaurant. The porridge was a bowl of stodge which I struggled to eat. The plug in the basin didn't work and the bathroom light was very poor, therefore difficult to see during the night. The pillows are very flat. We definitely won't stay here again

La habitación era pequeña pero agradable, con una cama muy cómoda. Además, tenía un hervidor con café, té, agua y unas galletas de cortesía. Eché de menos un pequeño armario para colocar la ropa aunque la habitación era tan reducida que apenas había sitio. Por lo demás, todo estuvo perfecto.

• nikolaim504 (2/5): The worst experience of my life - I had a very unfortunate experience during my stay at this hotel. After opening the shower door, it shattered unexpectedly, causing a significant injury to my hand. I found myself unable to exit the shower due to the broken glass on the floor. After I managed to get out, I also injured my foot on the glass which i was surrounded by. When I called reception for assistance, I was surprised that, with blood leaking from my hand, I was offered another room to shower in instead of any medical help. I was provided hand sanitiser and small plasters after having to ask for medical help. There was glass all over my skin and in the wound. After calling an ambulance and having a discussion with a paramedic i was advised t go to A&E, some 2 hours after the incident as i was waiting for Hotel staff to come and see to me which didn't happen. To my dismay, I was then asked to leave the premises by the manager and was informed that the incident had been reported to the police as criminal damage. When I asked for a crime reference number, my request was refused. I had to handle my belongings on my own despite my injuries, and no one from the staff offered to help. I was forced to drive my vehicle off the premise in fear of being charged despite my injuries. After this distressing experience, I sought medical attention and learned I would be out of work for a week due to the injuries sustained. I attempted to discuss my concerns with management but felt my issues were dismissed. Additionally, I reached out to retrieve some personal items I left behind but was met with unprofessional behaviour. Shouted at down the phone and hung up on. I followed up with an email advising i still have belongings there and the room key which i am happy to return. I have had no response. In light of everything that happened, I believe there are serious management and safety concerns at this hotel, and I would recommend other traveler's consider these factors before booking. I now have a lawyer involved and will be looking to take legal action against this company for my injuries and their unprofessional behaviour.
• J (8/5): Great for the working boys but not for the luxury seeker. - Great staff and waffles! Coffee maker in room didn’t work I asked for another one and they said they would get one to me but one did not arrive. But there’s free coffee in the lobby. Just couldn’t make my own and had to get dressed appropriately to get each cup in lobby. But I lived!

• Hiolanda Roberto (10/5): - My expectations wasn't very high. I was pleasantly surprised, everything was amazing, even before I checked in. I had some personal issues and messaged them, they were very nice. A very warm welcome and easy check in, they upgrade my room at no cost. The room was very clean, every corner. Nice and comfy bed, I wish I could had enjoyed it a bit more, I had and event so I only slept for 3 hours because I my train has in the morning and I had to check out. I will definitely book it again. I bit noise, due to other walking through the entrance, I'm a light sleeper. Not their fault though. So nothing major.

• KalEl3000 (2/5): Horrible. - Do not stay here. I wanted an executive room. Arrived and was presented with a room with a bad smell. The sofa in there was old and the facilities were basic. The receptionist (male) said he was unable to do anything. I retured from stepping out for a while and then asked him again if he can do anything on my return. He then showed me to a basic room (more modern than the executive but far smaller). While talking (general conversation and having the TV on which wasnt loud by any means) he knocks on our door to say we were being loud. Having to stay here the night. Really wish I hadn't booked. Horrible. So much for supporting smaller business. Will stay in a Premier Inn next time, atleast you are respected as a customer. Avoid this back alley type business.
• James (10/5): Well decorated Hotel recently refurbished. No breakfast room but delivered to your room as ‘Breakfast in Bed’. - Very clean, refurbished and well decorated. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Only 15 minutes walk from the railway station and likewise 15 minutes to the town centre. Breakfast was delivered to our bedroom in the morning on a tray beautifully presented and all as we had requested the previous evening. No restaurant, bar or breakfast room.

• Mattyp620 (10/5): - We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more, we were in Peterborough for my wife's graduation day and the reviews made me book The Pearl Hotel, before we travelled i messaged them and asked if there was any chance of a room upgrade, they replied and said they would upgrade us to an executive room! Not only that, they took the time to write a card to my wife to congratulate her.. tremendous value for money. We thoroughly recommend 👌 Nothing.

• Katy (9/5): - The staff were brilliant and very attentive. The hotel is in a great location, New Theatre less than 10 mins away. The room was a great size, with desk space too. Mattress wasn't the comfiest, and the required some small updates, like paint touch ups. Nothing that would put you off staying though.

As was the Female member of staff - The Welcoming Staff.Connivence for attending events in the Cathedral. Comfortable bed ,a good shower and free parking. Our room was the was nearest to reception which meant other guests had to pass it to access their rooms so we did experience some late night noise.

After I mentioned it staff they didn't book anyone above our room which was nice. It was still a nice hotel and good value for money

Tv perfectly positioned,, staff happy to top up supplies for tea n coffee.. Mattresses need updating, very uncomfortable in room 207, Pillows very flat, need new ones. Would make such a difference
