Didn’t like the unexpected $300 deposit for damage. Not sure if I missed something in the fine print. Made reasonable accommodation more expensive when you have $300 tied up for a number of days.

A week after leaving the apartment we have not yet received the money back. This is really annoying and also very unusual as we left the apartment tidy. Not happy!

- Gerry (10/5): Very comfy for a family of six and a good location - Three bedrooms spacious for a family of six. The lounge and dining area are spacious for a family of six. The large TV was good. Location across the road from Flynns beach very handy for children. The heated pool was good also. Only one parking space but parking for second car on stree was appropriate.

- Winterbon (6/5): Well priced but not comfortable. - The ground floor room was very spacious and within walking distance to the beach and the local shops. The added bonus of a laundry was good. The lounge is too low and soft and difficult to get out of for an older person. The dining room chairs were hard to sit in for any length of time. The internet was patchy.

- Helen (6/5): A spacious apartment in a good location but we didn’t have a nice view - The apartments are located in front of Flynn’s Beach, about 5 minutes walk down the path. The 2 bed apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped The bathroom was large with a decent over bath shower Underground parking is included Our apartment faced a wall so no view. The second bedroom didn’t have ac or a ceiling fan so was unbearably hot. A small fan was provided to plug in but was noisy and ineffective. The window had a security lock so couldn’t be opened more than 2 inches The pillows were hard
- Filiz (5/5): Tired and in need of refurbishment - The apartment is a very good size and in a great location - opposite patrolled beach and some great restaurants The apartment is very tired and in need of refurbishment. There is only one air-conditioner in the main living space, the bedrooms were very hot and stuffy, there are no ceiling fans and windows cannot be opened more than around 10 cm. Box fans were provided which were next to useless. Curtains were threadbare with visible holes, doors stuck and were hard to open, the apartment was very dusty and kitchen area/utensils sticky to touch.

The pool was a great peek to the holiday While the apartment presented well, on closer inspection the carpet was full of dust, particularly around the edges and I had to vacuum the apartment before I could enjoy my holiday

- Leanne (5/5): Expensive disappointment unfortunately - Very quiet & located directly across from Flynn’s beach Our Unit (9) was tucked in a corner with no view from any window. Front looked at a wall & an unkempt garden. Bedrooms looked onto over grown areas. The queen bed was very hard, opposite to the lounges which were very soft …both very uncomfortable . Very disappointing for almost $2800 for the week !

- Maree (10/5): Great value for money as a holiday complex - Beachside Holiday Apartments location is fantastic. Right across the road from Flynns Beach. So great to have a pool also on site. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Cafes and restaurants are an easy stroll from complex. Staff very friendly and obliging.

- Jane (7/5): An ok stay. - Spacious. Off street parking. The apartment was tired and needed an update. A small pedestal fan was provided in the bedroom but the only plugs were behind the bed, so you couldn’t really locate the fan where it was needed. Located a bit out of downtown.

- Emma (10/5): - We stayed on the ground floor, while there wasn’t a ocean view, we didn’t need it, we had perfect view of the pool our kids loved it and were in the pool as often as allowed from first thing in the lot in through to late evening.

Nearby restaurants very good. The list of rules and petty charges. It made the accommodation feel like a cheap hostel. It diminished the whole experience.
