No selection of various teas. There was a very limited amount of coffee sugar and milk provided in comparison to many other locations I have visited and stayed at. One of the milk containers was off. Lift to underground car park was broken and parked on street which lucky for us provided easy access but car was covered in bird droppings. Towels inadequate

• WCJ (8/5): Family holiday in a great area - Nice big areas in the accommodation and our rooms were split over two floors which was a bonus for our family (but not suitable for all). The spa was used with great enjoyment by my 4yo as was the pool area. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location to the beach was a big plus and the cafes and restaurants within walking distance was great. There is also a fantastic park next door so the kids have another area to burn some energy. Unfortunately their lift was closed for maintenance which made it a bit of a pain for our family to relocate our items from our car (Garage to the 2nd floor).

• Sally (6/5): Great location, great pool, and polite staff - The location was fantastic. The size of the apartment and balcony was great. Pool looked great. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. access codes not keys are excellent I paid $300 per night on a non peak weekend which was very expensive in comparison with other accomodation in the area. There was one towel per person for entire weekend. No flannels or beach/pool towels provided (that I could see). Having a bit better toiletries, a spare towel, a bit nicer coffee could make a bit of difference. And yes the shower does have mouldy grout that could easily be sorted.
• Maureen (8/5): Peaceful, comfortable and affordable for a short break from Sydney - We have stayed at Copacabana Shores previously. Everything we need - pleasant sized room, comfortable bed, kitchen and washing machine (we haven't used), a jacuzzi as well as shower and secure parking at an affordable price. Sure there is no "view" -it looks onto the backs of the buildings in the next street, but still pleasant sitting on the balacony in the sun overlooking the pool and only a short walk to the beach. Copacabana beach is lovely and never crowded; the place itself is quiet (cafes open during the day but very little at night) but only a short drive to Avoca (try Saltwater Bar and Bistro) or Terrigal if you are craving more choice and action. We had an issue with the door - difficult to open but this was addressed quickly by the site manager.

• Chapman (6/5): Easy to check in, great location. No frills experience - perfect for our stay. - Location and room set up was good. Secure parking and code to access the property were really useful. I thought it was expensive for what it was. The rooms were basic and the kitchen amenities were poor. For example, there was not enough glasses for us all to use. There were only 4 chairs on the balcony for 4 guests meaning we could not eat outside. Bins were not emptied during the stay and there was no housekeeping - not sure if that was required/expected but the price was $300 per night and there was no discount for 3 night stay in off season - I thought this was expensive for the property. That said, it met our needs for the purpose of our stay.

The manager then attempted to scratch it off and then suggested he will change them After changing the sheets, the doona was placed on top without a doona cover. The kitchen was dirty, the frypan had chunks of meat on the pan, the plates were not clean. The spa was broken with the cover of the jets laying in the tub. We realised the next morning the single bed fitted sheet was visibly dirty on one side.

• Jason (10/5): Loved it! - So close to the beach and the shops , friendly and helpful staff and that was the most important thing to us. We called when we arrived and were shown our room and made to feel welcome . It was much appreciated. It’s only small but the toilet door didn’t quite close properly , there was a gap in the door,please replace it with a more modern door. I’m tall so I could see the top cupboard ( I think it was the cups cupboard)next to the sliding door hadn’t seen a clean cloth in a while. I didn’t say anything but I think the cleaners could be more thorough.
