owino (10/5): My stay there was very relaxing and very satisfactory. I loved it so much and can’t wait to come back again! - I loved the layout. It was very clean and very sophisticated as well. Just overall was spot on! The pillows could have been softer they were quite rough and uncomfortable but besides that everything was excellent no complaints.

Gillian (8/5): A very good, clean well-priced hotel in a quiet but good position. - Plenty of storage, shower great. Bed very comfortable, although the pillows were all soft. The pool was very clean and nice and warm! I didn't have breakfast but had dinner on a couple of evenings. The dining area decor is very dreary, but the fact that the food was excellent more than made up for that. I can particularly recommend the pasta with prawns, and the hummous which was some of the best I've ever had, Staff very pleasant, helpful and efficient. For my purposes the hotel was perfectly placed and very quiet. Would happily stay there again and can recommend it. Dreary, soulless dining area, but it was kept very clean and the decor wouldn't stop me staying there.

Not enough tea/ coffee in room.and had to request teabags. No spoons provided. Very limited menu. Dining area was empty/ soulless and in construction. Place feels half finished. We were expecting more with the new name/ refurbishment.

There weren’t enough sugar packs in the room for more than one cup and I wanted to have a second one. Also, a better selection of teas would be great. The only choices available were earl grey and herbal. A black tea option would be fantastic!

Angela (4/5): Not very happy - Bath products Beds are too soft The pillows - one is too large and bulky and one is as flat as a pancake Aircon blowing directly over the bed and onto your face while you sleep the shower door didn't close, hence water spilled out and there are slippery floor tiles in bathroom pool is right near the main road with noisy cars, trucks and people passing by can see in the lift doors slam onto you if you are not quick enough getting in the fan in bathroom doesn't work the phone didn't work

That's on us, though, for not looking for those things specifically. I just haven't been in a hotel room without a desk since I can remember, so I didn't think to check on this. Was my partner ment to sit on my lap. l will not ever stay with marriott nor will l book with booking.com again!

Jean (8/5): It was a good stay and staff were very nice. - It has improved entrance/reception area. The checkin person was professional and organised booking in quickly. I asked for a feedback form and was told to wait till I received this email. The milk for my cup of tea was out of date. It was March and it is currently September. In the breakfast area it was annoying that teaspoons were way over at the fruit help yourself area. Then when I wanted milk in my tea it was way over 1/2 the room distance. Which I thought could have been housed in the glass cabinet next to the hot drink zone. Lastly the toast caught on fire literally with flames. The lady didn’t know what to do and despite me warning not to insert metal tongs into the toast tried. When she couldn’t the cook came and he too despite being my warning to turn off the toaster used metal tongs into the toaster and got it out. Seriously when was the last time these staff members were given a safety course !!! They both risked an electrical shock or possibility of electrocuting themselves. Incidentally being electrocuted means you have died.
