Al centro. Ci complimentiamo con il sign. Antonino che e stata una persona squisita. Sorridente e disponibile. Ci ha aiutato a prenotare i nostri tour e ha risposto ad ogni nostra esigenza, facendolo sempre con il sorriso Molto capace anche il camerire che lavora al ristornate nel turno serale, e Crystina. Persone che sanno fare bene il loro lavoro. Non tutto il personale era disponibile e accogliente. Ci sono stati 2 episodi spiacevoli. Nel primo: noi siamo una famiglia con 2 bambini piccoli. Durante il nostro soggiorno, abbiamo avuto bisogno di riscaldare il latte a nostra figlia. Il bollilatte non funzionava e quindi il mio compagno si è recato in portineria di notte, e la persona che era al ricevimento ci ha risposto che non era possibile a quell’ora. Mia figlia ha dovuto bere il latte freddo. Nel secondo episodio. Io e mio figlio eravamo all aperitivo , verso le 17.30 e il ragazzo che era al buffett ( uomo con un codino) ha fatto un verso sgradevole, quando ha visto mio figlio prendere un panino dal buffett con le mani. Nello stesso momento , un uomo, credo uno dei responsabili vestito in giacca e cravatte ( di colore beige) e con occhiali, mi ha fissata facendo un cenno con la testa per indicare perplessita. C e poco da dire, se la struttura è un 5 stelle aperto ai bambini, bisogna anche essere pronti ad accoglierli questi bambini e non aspettarsi che si comportino da adulti. Detto questo, di pessimo gusto e cortesia , quanto fatto a me. Noi abbiamo speso più di 3000 euro, per una camera molto grande, bella vista ma molto impolverata. C era molta polvere sulla testata del letto e comodini. Questo lo dico perche da persona asmatica ho avvertito subito il disagio e poi costatato con i miei occhi e facendo una passata con il dito sulle superfici. Il cibo e la colazione molto buono.

• Jarosław (8/5): Overall, my stay was very good, with far more positives than negatives. - The staff was really nice. The breakfasts were amazing. The mattresses were very comfortable. The view from the windows was fantastic. The bathrooms clearly need more cleaning. The overall appearance of the hotel is more suited to a 3 or 4 star hotel than a 5.

• Erika (8/5): - Poolområdet var rigtigt fint. God mad i Gaia bar. The Level var nice - lækkert med adgang til snacks. Sød og hjælpsom personale. Fint værelse - vi boede i en familie suite - med god plads til opbevaring. Aircondition var ikke stærk nok til at køle værelset ned, så det var meget varmt om sen eftermiddag og aften. I stuen blev det tåleligt men i soveværelset var der alt for varmt. Det blev ok i løbet af natten.

Kettle and towel heating rack did not work - but it was replaced almost immediately by the very efficient staff. No desk - just a divan to sit on and a low table. Very difficult to work from. Room flooring felt a little industrial - almost rubbery.

• james (9/5): Very enjoyable stay at a hotel that really prioritises the guests - The services provided by the LEVEL were great (appetiser hour , breakfast etc) Staff were super friendly and helpful Location was great in a more local part of Barcelona Could not open the curtain over one of the bedroom windows which was a pity as the view is so good.

• Marco (5/5): nothing special - I found a fantastic swimming pool and a very good gym. the breakfast was very good . and the staff was really kind the room was little and the bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a clear glasswall.... the floor into the room was a plastic linoleum not really clean.... the position was too far from the center city but in a very quite neighbor .

• Sir Stayfast (2/5): When they advertised "the LEVEL", they didn't say that it's basement-level service hell. Stay away. - Two things: * The regular reception staff on the ground floor is actually pretty nice and forthcoming. * We stayed only one night and thus, were able to recover from all the "LEVEL" experience soon enough. Picture this: • You book "the LEVEL" experience for the last night of your family stay at the Melia Sky. • You queue 10' at the lobby to get up to the 24th floor for an "exclusive check-in" experience. • You wait another 20' at that exclusive lobby, where the only receptionist helps another "LEVEL" guest to arrange for a shuttle bus to the airport - in three attempts. After 20', he has the idea to ask you to hold for a second, but wouldn't notify a colleague and gets back to advising the lady again... • The background music is an American dude shouting in his iPhone for the entire period and a bloke at the entrance fitting the job description of a club bouncer pulling a menacing face and not bothering a second to attend to the people standing around. • You wait another 10' to get down again since of course, you left your passport in the main luggage, which you had dropped off at the ground floor. • You wait at least that long again to get up because, apparently, they let you know that the luggage was brought upstairs to the the 24th. The bloke would have known. • After 45', you are led down to the 16th floor into your "family room" - two regular rooms in close adjacency and thus falling short of anything qualifying as a family room.* • "LEVEL" reception doesn't pick up, of course. Ground reception responds and mention they will shut the external metal door so that we could walk between the two rooms without being seen by other guests. • The aircon isn't functioning in one of the two rooms. That wasn't fixed, of course. • You run into the receptionist at 10pm when you wanted to go up to the "LEVEL" reception, cashbox in hand pretending nothing of it happened earlier in the day: Oh, yeah, the "LEVEL" is closed at this hour. *On a sidenote: I was staying in that hotel before, regular stay, on the 18th floor, in a room twice as big with sea view and working air...

• Loretta (9/5): - Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and always clean Pool was a little small, I always felt like I had to quiet my kids in order to not disturb other guests. Otherwise, everything was great!
• LydiaJ26 (8/5): Great hotel in a nice area near the beach - quite pricey but lovely rooms and service - We stayed for a few nights as a family with older teens and had a level room with access to the lounge. This was great for cold drinks (incl. wine and beer) all day and a good range of snacks/tapas/cakes etc - slightly annoying being on the 25th floor when you're spending the day by the pool on the 6th as we did end up spending more than we needed to at the pool bar. The breakfast snacks in the lounge were really limited so I would recommend paying for the main hotel breakfast or going out. The staff in the lounge were lovely and honoured us with a slightly late check out which was great... the lounge was also never really crowded (like some I have been to in the past). The weather was really warm so we didn't do much sightseeing in the city but it was a short taxi ride into the centre if needed (15 mins). Uber doesn't work well but we used the Freenow app which was great. The beach is a lovely 15 min walk down Ramblas PobleNou pedestrianised street with shops/bars and restaurants. the beach was buzzing with people playing volleyball etc and a couple of good restaurants. We spent a fair amount of time by the pool which was relaxing, and cold drinking water was available form the machine in the gym close by. Cocktails were lovely as were the food options at the pool bar. The only off putting thing was couples all over each other in the pool, but that's not an issue with the hotel! All in all a great stay in a good location and I would stay there again.
