• John (5/5): So so. I have stayed in nicer facilities run by their competitiors - Staff was friendly and helpful This hotel is under renovation. The rooms are dated but were clean. There are 3 hotels that share a large parking area and it was hard to find a parking place. there are areas that are not well lit along the back parking lot. We had to go into this hotel through the Courtyard Hotel and use their elevators to get to the upper floors. Breakfast and the exercise room were also in the Courtyard Hotel.

From the front desk giving clear directions to meet the airport shuttle at dfw, to the friendly shuttle driver, to the front desk staff, to the breakfast staff…everyone was superb! We waited only about 5 minutes for the shuttle, got checked in right away at the hotel. Pool was warm and clean, great for families! Lots of towels to use for drying off. Clean room with extra blankets. Breakfast was one of the nicest we’ve had. They even had gluten free muffins to warm up for me! And oat milk for dairy free creamer in my coffee! Food was clearly labeled for allergens; I truly appreciate that! If I were to travel back to Dallas and needed an airport hotel, I definitely would stay here again!

They did not reach out to me to tell me so I had the opportunity to rebook myself to another Marriott Property - they just moved me to a Hilton property. Front desk and manager on duty useless.

• Angela Manzo (2/5): - My week stay at TownePlace Suites Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine in April 2025 was awful. The room’s door wouldn’t close properly (a safety issue), outlets didn’t work (causing missed work meetings), the sofa and rug were torn, the bathtub dripped constantly, and the garbage disposal was broken. Only the door was fixed after complaints; all else was ignored. I emailed management requesting compensation, but they never responded with a solution. This Marriott property’s poor condition, safety concerns, and lack of accountability were unacceptable. Avoid this hotel.

First the main entrance was blocked because of construction so I had to drive around to find the entrance to the Marriott Courtyard. A little confusing as the Hilton is also part of this overall building too. The room is really outdated. The first detail was the 24” TV! Yes 24”!!!! It was hard to watch. I didn’t stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Not coming back.

However, they state they will take you in their shuttle within a 5 mile radius, but taking you anywhere other than the airport is not a priority for them. The staff stated that they could take me to a location at a certain time, I went downstairs and they said they couldn’t do it. So I ended up having to take a rideshare service that cost me unnecessary money. The staff were incredibly rude every time I went down there and asked for something. I lost an item and they made me pay $30 to have it shipped back to me instead of me providing them my own label. There’s a blonde girl at the front desk who just seemed like she hated her job and was constantly irritated. The breakfast was basic crap. Nothing special. Go to Waffle House instead. And not having the pool open when it’s 80° outside is a huge bummer

We stayed in a two bedroom suite the night before our international flight during the Christmas holidays! This is always a great place to stay when traveling with 5-6 people because there are two bedrooms and a pullout couch in the living room! Our floor was quiet and comfortable!

For the most part, it was clean. However, the couch is awful and stained, it needs replaced. Didn't even want to sit on it because of the gross stains. The carpet had some black-brown colored fresh looking material/stain on it that put me off. Surely there is some sort of carpet cleaner that can be used? The same brown-black colored material was also on the light switch cover. Which was also super gross. I feel like those are the little things that people notice, and that should be cleaned off 100%. Breakfast was good, can't complain for breakfast that is included. It can be a little loud, as it is close to the airport. But I thought it was cool to be able to see the planes in their decent over the hotel. We would stay here again, but I will ask for a cleaner room if this situation occurs, next time. Tried to add the photos I took but the hotels.com app will not allow me to. Very frustrating!

The room was not what we wanted to begin with but after speaking with the young lady at the desk she upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite ( I wish I remembered her name because she was great). The breakfast attendant (Maria) was awfully rude demanding our room number to eat the free breakfast. We spoke with the food manager Jody and he was amazing and understanding. He made things right and was very greatful for the information. All in all the head staff was great and very accommodating. The parking though is horrible, with three hotels on the property they need more spaces. We ended up parking in the grass along the side of the building.

Watch out for hidden fees - we found out after the fact that the water bottles in our room were not complimentary, despite there being no indication of a price/cost.
