owallen (10/5): Ski vacation at Hintertux Gletcher - The best experience you could imagine! On ski vacation with my wife. Second year at the same place!
Ulrich (6/5): Für mich stimmte jedenfalls bei unserem Zimmer das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (bei Weitem) nicht. - Gut gefallen hat mir die Freundlichkeit des Personals und das Essen sowie der große Innenpool. Auch hatten wir einen schönen Tisch im neuen Restaurant. Allerdings muss man hier wohl Glück haben. In dem alten Restaurant hätte ich mich nicht so wohl gefühlt. Ich war zum ersten Mail in diesem Hotel und hatte ein "Lifestyle Studio M" gebucht für 2 Personen für immerhin rund EUR 490/Nacht (!!!) gebucht und um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Was ich bekommen habe, ist ein normales - allerdings renoviertes - Doppelzimmer im ersten Stock über der Küche mit Blick auf den Parkplatz, die Bierkästen und die Mülltonne hinter dem Hotel. Ergebnis: Man bekam nicht nur die Tätigkeiten in der darunter gelegenen Küche "live" bis in den späteren Abend mit, sondern auch jedes Öffnen und Schließen der Mülltonnen und das Klappern der Bierkästen. Als ich bei der Abreise gefragt wurde, wie es mir gefallen habe, machte ich freundlich darauf aufmerksam. Als Antwort bekam ich, dass das Problem bekannt sei, man schon mit dem Architekten gesprochen habe und das Isolieren der Decke zur Küche das nächste Projekt sei. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man ein derartiges Zimmer für den genannten Preis ohne jeglichen Hinweis zu dem genannten Preis vermieten kann, wenn das Problem bekannt ist. Ich habe den Eindruck gewonnen, dass man es für einen kurzfristigen Umsatz inkauf nimmt, dass jedenfalls Gäste, die in diesem Zimmer gewohnt haben, nicht wiederkommen. Schade!
Niclas (8/5): A very nice hotel with super nice staff! - The food was excellent and the wine card was very good value. Very friendly staff and a very nice renovated large spa area with a large indoor pool and outside natural pool. The only drawback were the beds which were ok but a bit on the poor side. Also the duvets were not thick down one which I normally experience in Austria.

Giorgina (6/5): Ich würde nicht nochmal kommen - bis auf den Spa Bereich enttäuschend. - Der SPA Bereich ist wirklich schön! Das Essen war sehr gewöhnlich und teilweise auch nicht ansprechend. Beim Frühstück ist mir wirklich der Appetit vergangen, nachdem an der Saftstation 3 Tage hintereinander der Ingwer stand, der fast an jedem einzelnen Teil geschimmelt war (grün & weißer Schimmer). Außerdem war der Käse ebenfalls 3 Tag unangetastet am Frühstück und hat sich an den Rändern getrocknet nach oben gewellt. (Am dritten Tag habe ich das Personal auf den geschimmelten Ingwer angesprochen, woraufhin mit wortlos etwas frische Ingwer hingeknallt wurde.) All in all fand ich hatte das Esse einen billigen Touch. Zudem waren die Bilder vom Hotel ganz anders als die Realität. Der Großteil des Hotels ist sehr veraltet und nicht so schön modern wie es auf den Bilder wirkt. Personal sehr unflexibel und schnell überfordert.

Michael (7/5): Entspannter Aufenthalt in einem gut gelegenen schönen Hotel mit verbesserungswürdiger Vollpension - Ich hatte Vollpension gebucht, jedoch fand ich lediglich das Frühstück sehr gut. Mittag und Abendbrot als Bestandteil der gebuchten Vollpension war nicht gut.

ga580 (10/5): May Hintertux skiing - I and my teenage daughter had rented one of the apartments for a short weekend break. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, modern and very clean. Hotel facilities wise, we went there on extra season, at beginning of May when the main hotel was closed. Despite this, the wellness area (swimming pool, sauna, gym, etc) was opened. Good size swimming pool and very clean. Well equiped gym.

561przemyslawz (10/5): The best place to get relax:-) - Ideal place for skiing's lovers, bus stop in the front of the hotel, luxury spa and swimming pool area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast offering many varied products e.g. fresh juices, flive cooking area. The dinner was tasty, starting from salads, starters, soups, main courses and ending up with deserts.

We stayed in main building I don’t know what kind of room was it, but it had almost 2 rooms inside (separated by sliding door), yet it’s not a full suite. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially bar guys. Very nice location - if you want some quiet time and lots of nature. We absolutely enjoyed that literally straight after hotel started several trails, amazing river and lots of free nature. Room was comfortable and good, however not so new furniture. But no complaints here. It was spacious and great. The toilet separates from bathroom an maximally distanced from bed - I find it very convenient if you don’t want to wake your partner at night! Max only complaint here are: nothing at mini bar and no tea/coffee cattle and cups in the room. I Love enjoying my tea before sleep and don’t want to go to restaurant each time for a cup, especially after evening shower and changing. The spa area is just marvellous. One of the best I’ve been to, and I’ve been to quite many also in 5* hotels. Here everything was just wonderful. Very spacious, so you’d never find it too crowded. 2 standard saunas (indoor and outdoor) + 2 special ones (inside). The spacious swimming pool with panorama view at glacier and a little natural pond with refreshing f water Just next to outdoor sauna. Massages were very good. Food was great. But I noticed some lack of fresh vegetables for breakfast - like simple cucumbers. However the variety of more expensive fruits was great. Even the daily “light” lunch actually gives you quite different opportunities for a full big meal. Dinners were glorious. The way of serving also highe class! You’d need a car there but I guess almost no one arrives there without it anyway. The village around though is quite sleepy and small, so don’t expect any attractions around besides the stunning nature (as for me, all you need. Though, at rainy cold days might be a bit challenging). All in all again it was fantastic and I am happy we stayed there and spent lovely 2 weeks.

Mvladimirovnas (10/5): Will be repeated - for sure! - Probably the most conveniently organised and well-planned hotel I have ever stayed in. Starting with the check in and check out by the friendly staff, through the way that the ski-storage and transport to the gondola are organised, the amazing spa, the housekeeping team, the room features - really there is not one thing that was not thought of. In terms of meals: large variety of food was available at the buffet, the options were limitless. Really loved the fresh honey, as well as the possibility to make your own fresh juice mix. Every item was fresh and well prepared. All in all - there is nothing else I could ask for in a hotel for a ski vacation, or just a relaxing vacation in the mountains.

Christian (10/5): Riding high at the Alpinhotel... - Great hotel, looks like any of the myriad of alpine lodges in this area from the outside, but the suites are a marvel of craftsmanship and immaculate design on the inside. Private kitchenette and sauna in the suite.
ulrik (8/5): Hintertux i topform - Mine to voksne børn og jeg bookede Alpinhotel Berghaus fordi det lå perfekt i forhold til Hintertux skiområdet. Personalet og maden var i top på dette hotel. Eneste minus var, at hotellet tillader kæledyr, og der boede to gøende hunde i værelset ved siden af vores. Da vejret og sneen var nær det bedste man kan få, så var det en dejlig ferie alt i alt.
Verified traveler (8/5): Schönes Hotel, tolle Mitarbeiter, kleine Mängel - Wir haben im März 2014 fünf Nächte im Alpinhotel Berghaus verbracht. Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet mit Sauna, Skikeller und allem was man für einen gelungenen Skiurlaub benötigt. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen im Restaurant (wir hatten HP) war bis auf eine kleine Ausnahme immer sehr gut. Unser Erlebnis wurde etwas dadurch gemindert, dass unser Zimmer trotz netten Hinweis per E-Mail direkt neben Aufzug UND Treppenhaus lag und das Kopfende des Bettes in diese Richtung zeigt - die Stimmen und Schritte der anderen Gäste sind besonders früh am Morgen deutlich hörbar gewesen. Hinzu kommt, das besagtes Zimmer direkt überhalb der Küche liegt und die Balkontür zwischen 19:00 und 22:00 besser nicht geöffnet werden sollte. Abgesehen davon würden wir das Hotel wieder besuchen und auch weiterempfehlen.
