It was a lot smaller than I expected, like a hotel room size but I still really enjoyed my stay. I would like to stay again in their 7th floor suits. We had to buy our own coffee pobs after the first day and also milk. The kitchen had very few appliances but not a big issue, no cupboard space though for any items.

• Mary (10/5): Total relaxation in the most beautiful apt with an amazing view of the sea!! - From the extremely friendly greeting when we arrived to when we left, it was amazing! Absolutely loved the decor of the apt! My favourite 2 painting were in our room , in one. GIRL WITH THE pearl earing with background of Starry starry night! Our apt had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and on entering we could see the amazing view our really large balcony had !!! Lots of restaurants all around, lovely sandy beach on our doorstep! Fabulous walk along the promenade, the location could not have been better !! I would love to have stayed longer, and I can highly recommend it!! Little touches like gorgeous sweets in our room. A separate little sitting room for everyone with an amazing selection of books, handy to leave a book for someone else. The hosts thought of everything! I cannot think of anything they could do to improve it, they have it perfect !! Absolutely nothing !!@ loved every bit of it !!!
• Raymond (4/5): Im Islamar ist nicht das drin was der Internetauftritt verspricht - also eine Mogelpackung- - Das Appartement ist sehr gut gelegen, Meersicht, Restaurants und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe und der OePNV ist in Spazierdistanz erreichbar. Die gebuchte Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Küche und Bad (siehe Fotos auf der Homepage) entpuppte sich als Studio welches sehr schlecht eingerichtet war. Das "Schlafzimmer" war eine offene Nische zum kleinen Wohnraum, das Appartement verfügte über keine geschlossenen Schränke oder Schubladen und absolut ungenügende Ablagen. Die Küche (Schlauch ohne Fenster) verfügte über keine Ablagemöglichkeiten - das Geschirr und Besteck war offen zwischen Kochfeld und Spüle abgelegt, auf dem Tischchen musste man Lebensmittel und Wasser speichern. Und ein letzter Wermutstropfen, auf dem SAT-TV mit 33 Programmen fanden sich nur spanische Programme. Für uns war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend.

Los apartamentos tienen de todo para hacer que la estancia sea perfecta. El hotel dispone de una terraza con jacuzzi y solarium desde donde se puede ver el puerto que está justo delante. Aunque estábamos en el primer piso -con una terraza con dos sillas, una mesita y un sillón colgante que era una gozada- por la noche era una zona muy tranquila y silenciosa. La decoración está muy cuidada y las camas disponen de colchones con su justa firmeza. Aunque pensábamos que nos iba a resultar difícil aparcar, todos los días encontramos un hueco en las calles traseras a escasos 5 minutos andando. Nada

• DOROTHY (10/5): - We loved the warm welcome at Apartamentos Islamar; and spent a fabulous few days there. Comfortable beds and bedding; a compact kitchen with all the necessary equipment for meals or snacks; extremely clean with a welcome tray and water. Downstairs is a lounge with coffee machine and books. It was so relaxing to spend time on the balcony with a view out towards the Islote. There was nothing to dislike. Cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

• Andrew (10/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location. - Great location & apartment was fantastic. We stayed on one of the Attic apartments & the balcony was one of the best we’ve ever had. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. We’ll definitely be back. The open shower cubicle was the only real drawback, with the resultant water containment issues on the wooden laminate flooring. Always needed at least two towels on the floor to try & contain the water - whilst also having to squeeze yourself into the corner of the shower to have a wash. The flooring showed signs of previous water damage from this same issue. There were some upgrades ongoing in the building, so drilling & hammering were evident, but only ever through the day. There’s also a new construction build ongoing to a neighbouring address, with an overhead crane in use, but it wasn’t really an issue for us & more to just make others aware. There’s some road noise from the street below, but being in the Attic apartment it was limited. Despite these minor issues, we really loved the apartment.

• ITZIAR (9/5): Muy recomendable, destaco las impresionantes vistas, la amabilidad del personal y la limpieza - Fueron varias las cosas que me gustaron. Lo primero de todo destacar la amabilidad del personal de los apartamentos, en todo momento dispuestos a ayudar. La ubicación es excelente y las vistas fantásticas. El servicio de limpieza EXCEPCIONAL. El baño muy nuevo. Sin ninguna duda lo recomendaré. El apartamento no se ajustaba demasiado a las fotos vistas en Booking, o por lo menos el apartamento que nos tocó. Por indicar algo menos bueno diría la habitación, esperábamos una habitación amplia (como se veía en las fotos) y sin embargo estaba metida como en un cuarto pequeño sin puerta y sin ventana. No obstante, todo estaba muy limpio y las camas eran muy cómodas.

• Fernandez (8/5): Estupendo, disfrutamos mucho de la isla y del alojamiento. - Nos gustó que tuviera cocina, sofá, el servicio de hotel de cambio de toallas, etc. que ofrecen y sobre todo, el balcón y las vistas. La falta de un hornillo en la cocina y que no tuviera la cocina un poco de sal y aceite ya que son cosas que se utilizan en pequeñas cantidades y hay que comprar formatos grandes que van a sobrar.

We visited in February, can’t imagine to be there during summer months old fashioned, hotel styled, wall fitted hairdryer- annoying - too slow, with very short cord and button you have to keep pressed all the time - uncomfortable to use no door between bedroom and bathroom/toilet - again that’s not comfortable

We particularly liked the balcony and enjoyed the hammock chair! The staff were so kind, and the rooftop was also a lovely place to get some sunshine. Absolutely would stay again. :) The charging ports by the bed did not work - one was broken/jammed; also having more coffee/tea/milk packets for each morning of the stay would be nice (beyond just a welcome set), but not a big deal. Would still stay again one day! Just our suggestions. Thank you again for being so amazing and helpful before and during our stay!

• Luise (10/5): Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt - Die Lage ist einmalig mit dem wundervollen Ausblick. Nicht nur vom Balkon aus kann man auf das Meer sehen, sondern selbst vom Bett aus. Das ist wirklich einmalig. Zudem ist das Apartment geräumig mit einem sehr schönen Bad und einer Küche mit allem, was man benötigt. Parken ist direkt davor im Parkhaus möglich und kostet über das Hotel 18 Euro pro Tag.

• Jon (9/5): Fantastic, centrally located apartment with all you need for a city break in Arrecife! - Loved the outside space, the overall finish and cleanliness of the apartment and welcoming team An earlier check-in (before 2pm) would have been preferred as check out is 11am.. I did email the property the week before requesting if a skylight lay earlier check in was possible but didn’t get a reply. Overall though it was worth the wait!

• James (9/5): Lovely apartment and beautiful view - The apartment was clean and the sea view was beautiful. Beach nearby was really clean and not busy. Hotel staff were all friendly. WiFi was good and jacuzzi was nice. Around 10 mins was bus station as well. Very flat. The only thing - the location didn’t really have a lot of restaurants or food places other than pizza or kebabs but didn’t think it was as quiet as it was. There was a spar nearby however.

The 8 sun beds and sauna are a lovely place to relax. Very hard to fine a fault with the apartments. We have stayed here 6 times now and they seem to try to improve things as and when a profit is made

She does not speak English very well but with a bit of effort from both sides we were able to dirt out parking. • anthonius (9/5): Heerlijk, alles wat je nodig hebt voor je vakantie - Een fantastisch balkon met uitzicht op de boulevard en de zee. Reuze gezellig. De straat werd dagelijks geveegd zelfs op zondag. De laatste dag van de carnaval kwam de optocht voor ons balkon langs, wat een feest. Op het schiereiland waarop je zicht hebt is een restaurant en een zwembad ( waar je niet in mag) ontworpen door Cesar Manrique. Hij heeft prachtige gebouwen en landschappen ontworpen op heel Lanzarote. Verlichting in het trappenhuis, voor de deur van appartement 22 zit een slecht zichtbare afstap.

• Philippe-IØ (10/5): Ile magnifique, préservée (grâce à César Manrique) et organisée, logement très agréable - La Vue est magnifique de la terrasse, qui est elle-même d'une bonne taille. l'appartement est nettoyé très régulièrement. il y a un Spa/Balnéo sur le toit de l'établissement et un solarium avec une vue dominante Magnifique. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. L'établissement a un accord financier avec le parking de l'autre coté de la rue, pour avoir un tarif correct. Les lits et oreillers sont confortable. L'empreinte de l'artiste César Manrique est partout et c'est tant mieux ! On a adoré!

• Elke (9/5): Gerne wieder. - Die Lage ist super. Alles in Laufweite. Bushaltestelle "Intercambiador Vuelta" ca. 900 m entfernt. Die Busse fahren von dort in alle Richtungen, z.B. zum Flughafen T1 und T2 (1,30 € p.Person), nach Puerto del Carmen etc. Man läuft an der schönen Strandpromenade entlang, so dass man die 900 m gar nicht wahrnimmt. Das Appartment hat einen tollen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, eine super Dachterrassse mit Whirlpool, Liegen mit Handtüchern und Sonnenschirmen, ebenfalls mit Blick aufs Meer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Bäckerei) ca. 100 m entfernt. Das Hotel ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und hat uns sehr gefallen.

• Linda (5/5): Disappointed with the amenities in the apartment but the staff were very friendly. - Excellent location for taking public transport for hiking. Also a lovely view from the front window and balcony. There was very little storage space anywhere. Our groceries had to be left spread on the dining table, some of our clothes were hung on hangers (although I had to buy extra hangers from a shop), other clothing items were folded and placed on a shelf so high that I could only just reach it without standing on a chair. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put our toiletries other than on the floor or any hooks for hand towels. Hand towels to be left in a heap next to the sink. This was particularly disappointing as we realised that some other apartments had nice new kitchens with storage. We were there for 3 weeks and accordingly asked if we could be moved to no avail.
• Amanda (10/5): Perfect! - The location was excellent, the balcony and roof terrace were lovely, particularly as it was so hot. The whole place was perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful! The building smelt lovely but the fragrance was quite overpowering and triggered allergies.
• Audrey (10/5): Contemporary comfort in great location - What a beautiful apartment! Clean, comfortable and with great decor. We highly recommend the superior apartment, with a big terrace, complete with loungers and an open air bath! With sea views over to the Isola Fermina too! We will always stay here when in Arrecife Nothing!
