Too many great names to list. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the food but I thought the buffet was great with lots of diverse options. Maybe they were looking for chicken tenders, idk. The steakhouse was amazing. Steak was cooked well and tasted amazing. the lobster as well! No ATM on the property. Lots of locals sitting outside the gate. Got grabbed twice walking to the shopping center. So I just suggest going in a group of three and only during the day time. That aside we cannot wait to come back.

The kitchen needs to do a better job covering the food from flies. Krystal out of the four restaurants was the best. The rooms were ok, however Housekeeping came at least three times everyday without a request which wasnt needed. The staff didnt follow the instructions of the signs pri ided.

- Candace E (10/5): - Review of RIU Palace Jamaica From the moment we walked in the door until the day we left, the staff at RIU Palace Jamaica was absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and always went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The property itself was very well maintained we constantly saw cleaners out and about ensuring the grounds were spotless, safe, and inviting. The entertainment crew was truly the highlight of our trip. They brought so much energy, fun, and laughter that they made our stay incredibly memorable. The buffet was another standout, with an incredible variety of options. My tip: go within the first hour for the freshest selection. The drinks were also excellent strong, flavorful, and plentiful. The beach is on the smaller side, but it’s kept very clean and still makes for a relaxing spot to unwind. Our Junior Suite with an ocean view was absolutely breathtaking clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the mosquito spraying. There was no warning given when they sprayed, and as someone with severe lung issues, the smoke was overwhelming. It even set off the hotel’s emergency system, which shows how strong it was. A simple heads-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, though, RIU Palace Jamaica exceeded expectations and gave us a vacation to remember. She was very nice and pleasant with Great Customer Service intentions explaining the details of my stay at this wonderful hotel. My check-in was seamless and she assured me my room would be available after directing me to go and indulge in a Great Mid-day Lunch by the pool. Thank you So Much Ms. Deondra! The resort also has a shopping center that was in walking distance so i was able to get souvenirs and snacks. The resort lobby is outdated and inviting, however you are greeted upon arrival with a glass of wine.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient, just about 10 minutes from the airport, so getting in and out was quick and stress-free. Another great perk is the access to the other RIU properties nearby, which gave us even more dining, entertainment, and relaxation options during our stay. The only downside was that it could get a bit noisy at night, which made it harder to sleep at times.

The staff is very nice all of the staff from the front desk to the chef to the waiters, cleaning department, pool service entertainment, transportation. Everyone was very nice and very professional and all of the workers and employees made sure that the guest had a great time I enjoyed myself and I would definitely go back again. I was even gifted a gift for my birthday

We contacted shuttle transport and were told transportation was not included through 3rd party booking. But later told it was so ended up paying for transportation. But overall good experience and a lot of events going on.

Also the room had a sewerage smell coming from a drain pipe in shower. Staff/Contractors would work at night. At three o’clock someone was using an electric grinder to cut tiles out side my room. Instead of getting a new room, and having to go through the hassle of repacking just to move rooms. I’d save money on tips. Staff were very nice, food was good. The entertainment became a bit repetitive and after a few nights, I realized it was a repeat of the same few shows shuffled around Riu’s three resorts. Overall hotel felt cheap, generic and bit desperate for profit. Not happy and would not recommend.

Please improve the menu even if you have to increase the overall price a bit. The other issue is the outdated rooms. They are clean but what’s up with the purple glass block. Serious update needed. Besides that the property is nice and close to the airport and the staff is friendly.

When I pulled the sheets back the mattress was moldy on the coners. I called to get a different room and unfortunately they was not able to accommodate me. That will be my first and last time ever staying at Riu palace Montego Bay.

Driver for hotel spiked prices for an excursion so i would recommend inquiring with different people for excursion prices. I was not pleased with the fact you have to make dinner reservations days in advance. Also room service food items were terrible. Other than that i really enjoyed myself, I would just plan my dining times strictly.

The only bad thing is when you enjoy the jacuzzi outside the balcony is tile and slippery when you get out even with a towel down.buffet was wonderful you had alot of different types of food for everyones liking.

Not fine dining quality food, but some of the best we have had at an all inclusive. Also was nice to have food available 24/7. Staff was great. Shout out to Winston, Archer, Nakia, Bubbles, Astro, Dinero, and Francissa. Property was nice. Didn’t really take advantage of being able to visit the other attached RIU hotels because we didn’t need to. We did do some of the available water sports which was nice. Room was good. A bit outdated and beat up, but the bed was good and the shower had great water pressure. Had all the amenities we needed. I know they have Elite rooms but didn’t hear anything about that or how we may have upgraded. Overall we were happy with our stay at RIU palace.
- LaTasha (8/5): - Our stay at the RIU Palace was just okay. The rooms are dated and need a renovation, the rooms do not have a resort feel, nothing but an overpriced hotel room. The outdoor areas are beautiful. The food is just okay, the vegetables\sides lacked seasoning. We paid for dinner on the beach, and it took 2 hours to get our dinner served, the light kept going out, no music, the lobster was dry and overcooked. The BBQ hut chicken was dry and overcooked too. Reservations for the restaurants were hard to get. At times, it was hard to get attention at the bar as they were super busy with not enough personnel for the crowds in and around the pool. We enjoyed the pool foam party, the MJ show, and the white party. However, during the day there were not many fun activities, I found myself bored a few times. Most of the workers are hard workers and are friendly. But there are some with bad attitudes. Bring your own towels and washcloths, they will only leave a set for each person in the room, it's hot and being in a pool or doing an excursion most would want to shower again prior to dinner.... don’t ask for extra as you will not get it. The RIU app has housekeeping as a 24-hour service, we submitted a request, and it was ignored. After waiting an hour, I called...the front desk informed me that there was no one available to give me a blanket for the bed. I was cold and couldn't figure out the thermostat to turn the AC down.
