• Cari (4/5): - Ive stayed at this hotel a handful of times. I moved 3 times . The reason I moved - air conditioning. I finally asked to Be moved into the room I normally stay in and the problem was resolved. The front desk clerks were wonderful, especially the woman that I see every time I come. She is happy to see guests . That speaks volumes. 😊
• Steve (4/5): - It was hot and humid. We got a big suite, but only the bedroom had an air conditioner, it was unbearable. We couldn't get our money back and had to stay in that hell for the entirety of our stay.

• Stephen (8/5): Good value - Spacious apartment and well equipped. Furniture a bit dated, and difficult to keep the property cool - aircon in the bedroom but not the living area. Having said that it was in a great location overlooking the beach and plenty of seats outside. I’d recommend overall.
• 11cj (8/5): Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos - The hotel is very well maintained and clean_the buildings, the suite and the pool. The oceanfront location, private beach and views are lovely and it's an easy walk or bikeride to restaurants and a grocery store. The suite and terrace was spacious_ a full kitchen, living room and bedroom with 2 full beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only recommendations are a better fan in the living room and a black out curtain in the bedroom. We stayed a week and added on an extra night.

• Viajero-m1995 (4/5): july vacation - Reserved a one bedroom condo city view . Travel with wife and daughter. Bedroom has two queen beds very comfortable, plenty of room. air conditioner worked only in bedroom. Shower head placed way too high, water splatters out if you want to run at maximum. living room has all you need pots and pans plates and cutlery. Was provided a 5 gallon purified water jug lasted all week nice touch. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. pool is very small. parking is safe. Place is very quiet safe and clean. lots of restaurants in the area. Beach area during this time had lots of sargasso growing on the beach, plenty of beach umbrellas and beds free of charge. The only thing I did not like is the living room has no air conditioner is feels like a sauna without A/C( this is not an exaggeration), not pleasant for someone to use the sofa beds for sleeping. The sofa beds are really filthy, not pleasant to look at, they should at least steam clean them. not pleasant to sit on let alone to sleep on. Location is very convenient. If the current owners would invest in putting A/C in the living rooms and updating furniture and refrigerators this place would get at least a 4 star review. They do have a great staff Frank M.

• jennifer (4/5): - This is a very run down condo. Furniture is dirty and beat up. The door is very flimsy. The staff are rude and dismissive. The good thing is that it is directly on the beach with beautiful views.
• Danielle (6/5): It is what it is - This is my second time staying. The first I stayed in the annex which is not ocean front. I stayed in an ocean front suite this time. The room was in poor shape. The doors were broken, stove was dirty, water bottle empty. I stayed for two weeks and the screens being broken was frustrating. The couch was dirty and while I was under the impression there was no smoking everyone chain smoked on the patios and beach which was pretty annoying with little kids and the room being hot we needed the doors open. The staff they have is amazing but I do see some management issues. Getting my room cleaned was difficult as they aren’t staffed appropriately. The beach was covered in garbage and rarely tended to. The ocean front rooms are in desperate need of updates. For example there was just a drawer completely missing. There also needs to be drying racks for bathing suites and towels. The place is quaint and the location is amazing but I really wish the hotel group would put some love into the property. We will probably stay again but I can’t say I was super satisfied.

The rooms are decorated grey with wall paper that is discolored and peeling in many general looks like it needs redecorating. Extremely noisy from the bars as in so loud we felt like it was in thr room. Music stops about 23:30 thr rooftop pool is very nice with a bar and place to eat.

• hanniasofiap (10/5): Lovely and relaxing stay 🥰 - I had a really great time at Arrecifes Suites, everything was very nice and peaceful. Something I loved is that it has a kitchen inside with its own refrigerator, stove, microwave and everything, as if it were an apartment for you alone. A super plus is that the hotel is literally in front of the beach, which was something I really enjoyed every day, as I would wake up and within seconds I was on the beach. Also, the room was very clean and tidy, and cleaning was done every day. Of course I would stay here again, I really enjoyed my stay.

You have to request housekeeping services, otherwise you're on your own - but making the request was easily done. Great to have a kitchen!

The alley building has the tiny pool. There should be more lounge chair for guests available because the people staying in the first building left their towels on the chairs to claim them from day to day. Positives - it was quiet and easy to walk to restaurants down the street.

It was in a quiet part of a quiet town and we could snorkel right off the beach to see lots of different fish. Lots of dining options are within 10 minutes walking distance.

• Angela (8/5): - Place is dated and a bit clunky but served our needs for 2 nights at that price. Depends what you are looking for. The patio and beach access was the real draw for us and it was lovely! I got the sense the balcony rooms were nicer but they were in a building across the street and not on the beach, as was the very clean looking pool. A/C in bedroom worked well. Major drawbacks were the shower, which looked/functioned like a mineralized shower head from the 60s; and the fact that you could only secure the exits front and back with a physical key which is a bit of a fire hazard at night. I really appreciated the giant filtered water and dispenser supplied and the well stocked kitchen. I would definitely come back.
• Pam (8/5): - Lovely palm fringed area with lounges for guests. Direct access and views of the water. Sadly, the neighboring "beach club" is noisy and intrusive on weekends. Didn't use to be that way. Sigh.

The rooms were clean and had all necessary amenities - we ended up in a one bedroom apartment after upgrading from a studio that was not all all acceptable due to lack of water coming out of the hot water tap. I would definitely come back but not to the studio suite. The staff were friendly and easy going. Very responsive to our needs.

• Kimpek2128 (4/5): Disappointed - Kinda what I expected, but would not stay again. The room was old and run down, sheets, towels are stained and very old. This place needs a lot of attention. We checked in and had running water, but within an hour the water was off. Contacted the front desk and said she would check on it. Hour later still nothing, got the maintenance man in the room and he was able to communicate that the tank on the top of the building was filling. Ok got back to the beach no worries. Nope two hours later still no water, three hours later still none. At 8 pm the finally agreed to move us to another room that had water. Please under stand it did have water, but not enough pressure to shower and rinse. The only thing that this place has is a nice beach area. Do not waste your money.

It was low pressure couldn't rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The only thing this place has to offer is a good beachfront location

• L664JWandreao (8/5): Great for Family - Very nice hotel, clean and quite. The staff was great and very accommodating. I emailed them ahead of time to ask if they could decorate the room for my 15 y.o. Girl birthday, they offered some options that we agreed on. It was a surprise for her, so when we got there everything was beautifully decorated and waiting for us, cake, flowers, balloons and many more extras. It was really nice. We had a family suite and the only downside was that the living room had no AC and no blackout curtains, only a fan and it was super hot. We had another double room and it had AC and blackouts. The neighborhood is very quite and the beach a step away. The town has many nice restaurants and cafes, very safe and ideal if you want to explore a more authentic town. You will need a car if you want to go to Cancun or Playa del Carmen. both are about 40 minutes driving in either direction.

The next day i book a room somewhere else and told them why we were living. I will never stay there again.

Half of the electrical outlets didn’t work and we had to scoot a bed over to plug in a lamp for reading at night. Cool area, walking distance to stores with basics and restaurant. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the pool was cute. Wouldn’t stay again though.

• Darla (4/5): Won’t stay here again - We stayed in the old part of hotel - room 114. Possibly the newer building would be better. We had one towel for 4 days 3 nights . Shower was in a Closet with wooden door and leaked water all over room- which was surprising any water got out as the shower barely trickled water. I can pee harder than that 😳 Couldn’t even rinse soap off- (by the way we had to go to grocery store and buy a bar of soap- so bring a bar …nothing is provided for shower. We did appreciate the 5L drinking water that was provided. We never got maid service once so our bathroom trash was overflowing with toilet paper - as they don’t want you to flush it. A daily cleaning and empty of that trash would’ve been appreciated . The beach was enjoyable and the pool at the other building seemed okay. About 60 % of beach chairs have backs that work - 40% broken. The bed was very hard - enough to sleep a couple hours per night. And the curtains are very thin so outside lights shined in all night. Felt like daylight while trying to rest. Also, when using bathroom sink it leaks underneath so your feet will get soaking wet and floors slippery. Reception staff was nice. Won’t be back to stay here. We will come back to puerto Morelos as it was lovely. Quaint and clean town- nice locals- bikes to rent - snorkeling first class -
• Susan (4/5): - We stayed six days and did not have hot water for showers or washing throughout the stay. One of the days the water in the shower completely stopped and another day the toilet leaked. Staff responded quickly to fix both of these issues. The kitchen had many ants so all food items had to be kept in the fridge. The view from our room was beautiful and just steps away from the beach. Lawn chairs were available for us to use at any time.

Location was quiet and only a short walk from anywhere. Had a nice surprise on Valentines Day when the staff knocked on our door and delivered chocolates!

• Jeff (10/5): - We stayed at Hotel Arrecifes from February 24 to March 02. It was an excellent vacation and the accommodation was excellent and as advertised. The staff were very friendly at check-in and really any time throughout our stay. We were in building 2 which is a couple minute walk to the beach with full access to the beach chairs. Our room was a 1 bedroom junior suite with a city view. The room was big with a nice sitting area. The kitchen had everything we need to make our own meals as needed. We were allowed to stay a little longer in our room after check-out as our flight was not leaving until 20:00. So that was great. Our only minor concern was that the mattress was much firmer than we were used to but that a general issue at most accommodations. Overall, it was an excellent experience. If you want a clean, convenient and affordable accommodation without then I would recommend Hotel Arrecifies. We would definitely stay here again.
• Renee (4/5): - Shower was almost non-existent - shower head was so far above and water pressure so poor, barely useable. The smell of sewer in the bathroom was often overwhelming!!! No one ever came to clean room or empty trash - had to ask for the one time the cleaning was done! Did note several cockroaches in kitchen. Wi-Fi was poor and spotty. Even though we requested help in getting our luggage downstairs (and a young man was standing by when request was made), no one ever came to assist. Would NOT stay at this hotel again and the price point was way too high for this property. Staff, overall, was pleasant enough and the premise felt safe.

The Arrecifes staff is excellent, they are easily accessible, and provide great service. The units do show the usual and normal wear-and-tear of constant salt air exposure and Caribbean weather, but everything is clean and comfortable. I have stayed at Arrecifes seven times and plan on returning.
• S87RKroberts (10/5): Fantastic find - # HotelArrecifes, Puerto Morelos (cancun) Mexico, Fantastic comfortable gem at small resort that has less traffic and is in a residential area and its at the end of the street. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk on the street or beach to restaurants and the downtown area. There is a beach club a block away. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was great and very attentive. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The apartment was cleaned upon request and the hotel staff were all great. The pool and beach areas were great as well and very clean. The buildings are quiet and the apartment was very comfortable. I would most definitely stay again.
• Sarah (4/5): Tiny room, window blocked - The room we booked was indeed tiny and in the Annex building however the photos online are misleading…the room was dark and in a corner. The size was so small barely a bed could fit. The window was blocked which meant no place to exit if an emergency occurred. We only stayed 10 minutes and checked out. Unfortunately we will still charged for half of our stay….this is not a suitable room and should not even be considered one, especially at the price that was charged.
• Raymond Carl (6/5): - The good: Is right on the beach with lovely mature palm trees and walkable to downtown. Decent size, quiet with a kitchen, comfortable beds and reliable wifi. The negative: Is dated with poor lighting, unreliable cable, weak water pressure and old furniture. Could be a very nice hotel with a few updates
• Denise (4/5): - It is not worth the money I paid. It says we have a full kitchen and there is not even a toaster. Hotel advertised as a waterfront hotel and my room is far from being waterfront. This 2 bedroom suite is in the annex which is half a block from the waterfront hotel. Have to be careful when walking across the street as very uneven. One thing was the front desk was good! I hope Expedia looks into all of this.

• Kandre (4/5): - It is a 1 star property advertised as a 3 star- on a 5 star beach. No privacy curtains in main floor rooms and outdoor storm curtains didn't close. Air conditioning didn't work, so we got moved to another room, which seemed better- it had a toaster! But it was infested with ants. They came out often from cracks in the floor (ceramic tile), wall, and other areas. The first room's mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. Other room had better mattresses. The decor was old and outdated. Floral thing was super old- dusty. Coffee maker leaked. No coffee provided- not even just for the first day of arrival. No living room t.v. I thought that was standard- especially in upgraded premium suite rooms- which is what we payed for. No side tables- couches were very old. No lamp in room we were moved to. I asked for one and was finally given one that had a super old, super cracked lamp shade. There were only 2 English language channels on bedroom t.v. And then it stopped working. Staff had to keep coming to room to fix it. They charged way too much for what they offered. Pool was a small pool in other building across the road- hardly used by anyone but a few kids. Certainly not enticing. Proximity to beach and town was good. Staff were friendly.
• David (6/5): - Bed was super hard and uncomfortable recommended they upgrade matresses
• Shawn (8/5): - Close to the beach with simple apartment style amenities
• timothy (6/5): - Price was ok. Area was secluded. When we arrived the toilet in our room was clogged up. I was told we could use toilet in pool area across the road. The next day they moved us to a different room with working toilet. There were restaurants within walking distance on the beach, which was nice. All in all for the money it was ok. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Room had ants.
• Karl (10/5): - Fantastic Accomodation. Right on the beach. Our kitchen was perfect. Staff is the best. Nice pool to cool off. Everything you need.
• Manuel (4/5): Not good - We stayed in the annex building, corner room on the first floor. Dark and plain, small window that looks into the building next door and is covered with plastic grass. Old furniture. Although a large shower it was very uncomfortable because the shower head comes straight down from the high ceiling, the water shot towards the wall and it could not be adjusted. Good cable but old tv. Good air-conditioning. Late check out is available for 50 dollars. Reception staff tries to be funny but they are all about getting your money. We stayed here this time because when we stayed here before we got a good rate for a suite in the building on the beach. This time we got a high rate and crappy room in the annex building across the street. Doubt that we will stay here a 3rd time.

• Monica (8/5): - Stayed one night here and it was ok. Room was comfortable. Pool was great. There was a jug of drinkable water in the room that we did not use as we don’t know how long that water has been sitting in there. It’s a nice gesture, but I would have preferred a small bottle of water. The shower really sucked. The showerhead was pretty clogged up and came from the ceiling that was really high. It was almost impossible to wash my hair with such little streams of water We stayed in the second building so we had to cross the street to access the beach. There were beach chairs available for guests and the ocean water was beautiful. Not many people on that side of the beach. There’s no where to eat close by. You have to walk about five blocks away to hit the restaurants. Downtown is just a few more blocks away. If you like to walk, it’s doable.
• jmscarvalho (8/5): Abandoned potential - It's a very suitable option for a couple of days. Location is super good, right on the beach, a private area with sunbathing chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately the compound seems it was abandoned for some years. There's no options tu buy anything in the property and no food or beverages service. The beach area was also not clean. Rooms are ok. It's a shame. The potential is all there...

• kaytJ9564RI (10/5): Experience Puerto Morelos at Arrecifes Suites!! - We met Danny the Supervisor and he has such amazing customer service! He was so accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to assist us. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean and the views are breathtaking! If you are looking for a peaceful stay you should consider Arrecifes Suites and/or Corales Suites as well because he manages both! Thank you Danny for making our stay such an enjoyable one! We’ll be back soon!
• Pathfinder621550 (10/5): Arrecifes suites - When my friend and I got here we were greeted by Danny. Danny was super welcoming and accommodating. We walked right out on the beach which is super calm and accommodating with beach chairs and umbrellas for the guest. The room felt very cozy as well. Illl be back
• Hellar B Valdez (6/5): - With 2 kids and a baby it was difficult foing up and down 3 flights of stairs wish they could have accomadated us at a bottom level or second we did not have a beach view very sad about that.
