Breakfast was so-so. Staff were largely absent and hard to find outside of restaurant hours, which was only in the evening. It was hard to ask simple questions like "Where is the nearest convenience store". One coffee cup escaped the washing cycle.

We found clothing from a previous guest. I dropped the remote control to the TV and it slid under the bed and it was obvious it had not been cleaned in months. Light fixtures had dust on them. They were soap scum on the handles in this bathtub. The stack stone on the wall was coated with dust as werethe light fixtures in the bathroom. The extra toilet paper holder was gummy with. I can only imagine what since it was next to the toilet. The wall next to the table in the room has splashes of beverages or food. I’m not sure which It is a beautiful location and the property is beautiful. However, more attention to cleanliness is definitely deserved. See anove

- Carrie (2/5): Mis-Representation, Poor Service - We so wanted this to be a better stay and we looked forward to it. We informed them we would have a late arrival on Friday and when we received our text message for code to our room we were given the wrong room. We would be leaving earlier on Sunday than they delivered breakfast and opted in for their early breakfast of oatmeal offered on their website only to find out they did not know that was on their website. Then they offered 2 packets of “make your own” oatmeal’s. We had reservations on Saturday for dinner at 7 and when we texted to ask if we could come earlier the response was “sorry we missed that reservation”. The Rouge Room did not look at all like images on website. It’s nice that breakfast was delivered but there were no furnishings to eat it. A coffee table with small chairs felt like a “kiddie table” Bed was comfortable, but pillows were not good at all. The room was sparsely furnished and no where to put your luggage but the floor. Lastly the jetted tub was great, but there is a sharp edge on the outside which caused a cut on the foot when getting into the shower/tub. Overall, mis-representation of images, poor service, poor communication. It’s a beautiful property and hope they can improve

We really like the Secret Rose room but have liked all that we have stayed in. It's located 30 minutes from most everything in the area in a good way. Definitely worth checking out.

- Alexander (6/5): Great setting with so much potential! - Great location, pretty setting, quiet & restful. Huge breakfasts. We slept well, and generally enjoyed our stay. When we got to our room, there was some sort of insect nest on the windowsill, but they came and took care of it right away. Big showerhead was broken, smaller one worked. Toilet seat was loose. They didn't come in and pick up garbage on a regular basis, that was a bit disappointing. Breakfasts were huge~wish they had a couple smaller options (muffins?). AC kicked out huge dust bunnies that looked like giant caterpillars flying at you! There were no seats outside our room to enjoy the outside space. That would have been a really nice option.

- Tyler (8/5): Beautiful property and cabin - Quiet, Beautiful, lush property that is well kept. It is also well lit at night with string lights which was a nice surprise, great for a romantic walk. The bed was a very comfortable spring mattress and was very clean. Access to the rooms is very accessible for those with disabilities and parking is only a few feet from the door for the Stardust cabin. Entry is digital and owner will text you your entry code. Breakfast in the morning was very good, not a huge portion but a healthy amount of food for most people and better than most hotel food. Loved the complimentary bubble bath and bath salts as well and Jacuzzi tub was bigger then it looks in the picture. I am 6’ 3” and my wife and I both were able to enjoy the jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic place to stay for a couple getaway! There was only a couple of small issues with our stay. The entry road needs the potholes patched or, it was quite bad in our small car but fine once it got the gravel path. We also had an issue with low water pressure, for instance, when filling up the jacuzzi tub (plan for about 20-30 minutes to fill it up), the toilet stopped refilling and wouldn’t flush. Also lost water pressure in the morning during my shower. (Maybe neighboring cabin was also using the water?) Either way, these were minor inconveniences.

- jessica (10/5): Our go to get away - This place is great! We have stayed twice now and both rooms were great. We love the grounds and it is very easy to get to. The restaurant is delicious and breakfast comes right to your door. Check in and out are a breeze and the owner is super accommodating and easy to get ahold of. We're already booked for our next stay. Great affordable getaway and easy to travel from for almost anywhere so far. Affordable and peaceful.

- Nils1978 (8/5): Schönes Hotel im Pinienwald - leider viele Mücken! - Wir haben das Hotel auf einer Reise auf der Route 66 gebucht, da wir einen Abstecher nach Dallas gemacht haben. Das Hotel liegt sehr schön in einem Pinienwald. Es gab extrem viele Mücken, die uns schon beim Weg vom Auto zum Hotel völlig zerstochen haben. Wir haben versucht abends nochmal raus zu gehen, aber auch hier wurden wir permanent gestochen. Das war schade, aber das Hotel kann nichts dafür. Das Frühstück wurde im Zimmer serviert, obwohl es ein Restaurant gibt. Das war nicht so schön. Aber das Frühstück war lecker.

Matress is due for replacement, The breakfast is room delivered, which is great , there should be a small two seat table & chairs and a slightly smaller couch area. Couch showed stains , probably from people using that area for breakfast as there is no table.... The bath area also needs hooks for hanging clothes and towels. Walls are a little scarce of decoration, but the room overall was nice.

It's in a quiet and green area, 30 min drive south from downtown OKC, but it's 100% worth it! "Lavender" room has a hot tub too :)

I called the # for assistance but no answer. We found our room but we were unsure of what part of the house was ours to use and our inner door didn’t lock. We didn’t know if other people in the house had access to our un lockable door. The breakfast form said by 6am on one and by 8pm on the other. Our breakfast order was never picked up and we didn’t know until we looked outside when we requested it ( 9:30) The room needed a more thorough cleaning. It was surface clean but a lot of dust bunnies and cobwebs in corners.

The bed was super comfortable and smelled nice. The bathroom was clean and the shower and jucuzzi were great. The water took a bit to heat up, but it stayed nice and hot for the entire length of my shower. Absolutely loved the location too, it’s a beautiful area with lush trees and grass. It was tucked away and felt like we were far away from anything! We’ll be back! Love this place!!
- Monica (10/5): Hidden gem among the trees! - I had the most amazing stay at Whispering Pines! It was my first time in Oklahoma and I don't think I could have picked a better place to stay. I was not expecting the lush and lovely grounds or the spacious room with breakfast delivery. On my first night I chose to have dinner at the restaurant. My server was Sarah and she was warm, welcoming and easy to speak with. I chose her recommendations of the tomato bisque and steak Diane with scalloped potatoes and homemade rolls and butter and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. My breakfasts were equally delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed for my 5 day stay. I will definitely be returning and look forward to my next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Didn't feel like most b&B's ive stayed in, in that you didn't have the option of lounging in the dining or living area. there was NO closet, however the owner was very accommodating and got us a rack to hang our clothes, which was perfect. the floor needed cleaning, but the shower and bath were clean. Food menu was ok, but after 3 days i felt i needed something different. The staff however was awesome, very accomodating and i loved having microwave, frig and coffee maker in room. The room service was alway on time and much appreciated.

Upon arrival, I noticed immediately that the room did not resemble the photos on the website. When I asked, she was apologetic but that started our stay off with a sour taste. (The room photos were the entire reason we chose this location.) The A/C in the room did not work and the rooms remained above 78 degrees. Traci did accommodate us with a different suite which was nice. I did notice that room also did not resemble the photos on the site. Breakfast each morning was delicious.The property was lovely. Recap, Traci was polite and professional. From the jump, I felt misled by not getting the room the website showcased.

- Richard (3/5): Poor - Staff was very friendly. Everyone I interacted with in person was so friendly. The room was a little dated, but it had character. The stay was perfect if not for the bedbugs. The bed had bedbugs. It was a lot of extra work making sure I didn't take any home with me. I stayed two nights, the first night I slept on top of the sheets and had no problems, second night I used the sheets and woke up covered in bites. I informed staff via text as a courtesy, and was told I would hear back from them after they checked it out. It's been a week of silence. I didn't expect or want any money off, but I did expect to at least hear a thank you, we took care of it.
