• Danny (9/5): Great location and view - The hotel is located near several hawker centres, malls and a bus station in walking distance. I had the room with a balcony on 5th floor. Good sized room. It was clean and you havea good view of the area. I saw several mold spots in the area. I think there was a leakage. No water in the room, however you can go to the 1st floor to get water. I was able to get water on the 1st day. The rest of the time i was unable to get water due to renovations on the 1st floor. Luckily there were some stores in the area to get your water. Staff could be friendlier. I don't need them to act like we're friends, but be more welcoming and a smile never killed anyone.
• Nick (7/5): - Nice location where I can look for foods and shops around Penang, walking distance to bus terminal and nice food location. Room is clean, cozy. Toilet are clean, wifi is working. Limited car park space where first come first serve, espcially during renovation period. The receptionist area smaller than I thought, thus will be crowded if everyone is gather at the area for registration or check out.

• Bernard (6/5): - The room was clean. The only thing that I wasn't happy about is the bed. It was too hard and the pillow was extremely soft. I was unable to sleep. But other than that, it was a good stay.

Many food courts along the main streers too. Only that the towels used in the hotel is not absorbent. No toothbrush is supplied.

However, no cable tv, no face towels, or face soap; room cleaned only if card placed on door handle to request it. Small room, size of a cruise ship cabin. It was annoying that staff would knock on door in the mid afternoon to ask if there is any garbage needing to be disposed.

Hotel location is fairly good, a bit of a walk to the historic centre of town, but there is a good bus service and malls / restaurants nearby.

Location near to food and shops and within walking distance to a number of tourist destinations. I booked the room for 2 persons but only one toothbrush given. I asked Housekeeping and they say only one is given and if needed extra to request from Reception. Also noted no soap provided. Again asked Housekeeping they do not seem to know what I am talking about. Asked reception, they confirmed no soap provided so you need to bring your own soap or wash with either shampoo or body wash.

Besides that the only less comfortable experience is the room size and probably having 2 chairs instead of 1 would be good as well. Cleaniness is decent and acceptable. Bed is comfortable

Quiet but conveniently located just off the main Macalister road with good food nearby walking distance. In fact walking distance to few shopping centers ie KOMTAR, Prangin Mall, First Avenue, Times Square, etc & also Georgetown major tourist attraction. Only gripe is the not so fast wifi.

All the basic needs you can get there..Also its a walking distance to go anywhere around the town. The service is very good as i get upgrade to the bigger room.Nice stay and enjoy it eventhough my stay is just for overnight.

Walking distance to komtar, new lane food hawker stalls, times square and etc. It is just beside the hotel sentral georgetown which you can use to direct the car or cab for easier journey. The room is very quaint and neat. No breakfast though. They cleaned the room without replacing or cleaning the cups. No fridge provided. The reception is on the 1st floor so you need to take the lift or stairs to get to it as the ground floor is for parking. Overall, it is a good place and would consider to come back here.

• jlow (6/5): Air conditioner problem - I booked two rooms. I was given two rooms on the same floor above the reception floor. Two of these rooms had air conditioning problem that is both rooms were not cool at all. Later I found out another guest on same floor had the same problem as my two rooms. The technician came but the problem persisted. Finally I told hotel that I needed to check out one of the room as it was too hot and unbearable. Only then the hotel decided to let me have another room. Question is how they could sell the rooms( whole floor) air condition not working properly. The second night the air con was in order.. We suffered the first night on the two rooms
• Joohan (6/5): Budget hotel that fulfill basic needs. - Stayed in Roo 507, many small ants on table. TV channels reception are bad. Walking distance to Komtar at Jalan Keng Kwee (Famous Teow Chew Chendol). Move around with Uber/Grab or car would be easier.

Restaurants everywhere! 1-2hrs walk from Chulia St, Armenian St, basically to almost all attractions. Areas that needs to be improved: bathroom and tv. Bathroom needs to have a anti slip mat as it slippery. Tv channels is limited. But overall it was great.

Generally, quite quiet at night, or maybe because we were staying at the last room. However, like all other reviews have stated, there really should be a door between shower area and rest of toilet. Other than that, we are very pleased with the stay. Hotel staff was friendly too.
