Robyn (5/5): - The room was clean. The location was convenient for my needs. There was a coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits restocked when house cleaning came in for the daily house keeping. I was disappointed with house cleaning. They advertised daily housekeeping. The daily house cleaning involved changing the small garbage bag in the room, and wiping down the bathroom. There was no changing of sheets or even making the bed, no vacuum ingredients the room.

Michael (7/5): Good budget motel, with an option for bringing your pet too! - I was very happy to find a motel in Mt Gambier that allowed us to bring 2 miniature dogs. Our Jack Russel and Pug were way more comfortable than if we were camping! The room was surprisingly spacious for a budget motel. The price wasn't as budget as I was hoping for, but then everything is getting more expensive these days. The staff member I spoke to on the phone was unfortunately completely unintelligible to me, so communications was only by email.

Greg (5/5): You get what you pay for. - Proximity to town & Price Faced the highway, noisey with both cars and trucks. Room needed a lot of TLC… cracks in walls, tiles and ceiling, toilet ran all night, peeling paint,etc. Smokers area/den was outside of the door, so smell permeated into the room.

Martin Jr (6/5): Not sure - Cheap Our room smelled like it was not clean properly. Although the bedsheets were tidied or fitted in bed, the room or sheets smelled “cigarettes”. Maybe they didn’t replace the bed sheets.. I’m sorry.. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. I suppose I dont have to raise this concern as the rooms were cheap, but I have been to other cheap motels where I didnt experience the same concerns as I have mentioned above.

Wir standen gegen 23 Uhr vor der Unterkunft und konnten nicht rein, so dass wir kurzfristig gezwungen waren eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. Eine Kostenrückerstattung haben wir nicht bekommen mit der Begründung wir hätten sie bei Ankunft anrufen müssen.

M R (7/5): Okay for a short stay. - A spacious room which was good with a new and sharp TV. Pillows were a bit lumpy and you could hear the noise from the trucks travelling on Penola Rd through the night. Some of the paint work was peeling, so a bit of a reno would be good.

Silva (9/5): Value for the money. - The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. Fridge, kettel, toaster and microwave oven were useful. Plates, cups, bowls, and cutlery were useful too. Overall, a safe, comfortable, clean stay. The bathroom would have been more spacious and modern. But it was clean.

john (8/5): The motel was clean, well serviced, Good.helpful staff, Positioned well. - It had all we needed for our stay. Sounds silly ,i know ,however it had 4 walls a roof, bed and ensuite. That is ALL you want in a motel. Anything extra is a waste and expense,you don't want, For a motel? We will come back. Maintenance. The Ceiling really needs to be looked at. Our room,23, have paint and plaster issues. Didn't bother us,but others? Also, again not an issue for us, and NOT the fault of management,, Someone had taken/lost the TV remote

Plus, fridge did not have a freezer. Like many travellers, I freeze ice packs to keep my cooler cold when I am travelling.

Thomas_53 (10/5): Sehr schön und für ein Hotel preiswert. - Da es sehr frisch war, haben uns die Heizdecken in den Betten sehr gut getan. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön und das WLAN hat supber funktioniert. in meinen Augen für eine Nacht nichts.

Bed was fine, nice couch to sit Walls were very thin, I could hear the bathroom being used in the next room. Tv is not a smart tv, only free to air, no option to stream and not able to plug anything into it as it is bolted down, also very small.

hosa85 (7/5): Good for a simple overnight stay, or tradie room - was the cheapest in the area - Room was ready on time for my check-in , I was contacted via text to let me know the procedure for late check-in. Room was Clean, simple courtyard rooms, basic kitchen needs, plenty of towels and blankets rooms and amenities were quite old and ran down, But all the basics were there. ply wood where the head boards use to be TV Stand Bolted to the cabinet with pipe straps Pillows were like a bag of potatoes

Naomi (1/5): Terrible - We booked a two bedroom unit, a permanent resident sat out the front of the unit for hours smoking. Our unit smelt so bad of cigarette that we complained. The resident refused move. After 3 hours we decided to leave, a refund was refused.

Daniel (1/5): Worst stay ever at a motel in Australia - Nothing I used to come here & the service was good. The owner Garry is nice and we enjoyed previous stays. His staff were rude on this occasion & also did not advise us of construction that was planned during our stay, we booked a second night directly with the reception upon arrival. We woke up to people walking on our roof installing solar panels at 8am after the first nights stay. We received no follow up or offer of compensation. Also the lady on staff said the construction workers were not going to be there all day and of course they stayed until after 4pm with drilling sounds & loud construction noises. The construction workers returned again at 8am the next day. No rest or relaxation possible, terrible. Also the lady on reception said “she didn’t know the construction workers were coming” ……
