Wehrle (7/5): Lovely place but disappointing given the tub was the reason I booked my stay here. - Beautiful location and property. Disappointing to book a room specifically because it has a large tub/jacuzzi, only to have the drain not close properly, which results in the tub slowly draining and making sound as it does so. Completely ruined the magic of the tub. I looked forward to this stay for weeks only to have the main thing I was looking forward to be a let down.

Helen (10/5): - Our room was spacious it included a sitting area, with sofa, 2 chairs and small table. There was also a microwave and sink. Also dishes, plates, cutlery and glasses. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom included a bath with shower over, vanity unit and toilet. Plus the added bonus of a balcony with table and chairs. You can buy breakfast for $7 which included cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast, bagels, fruit juice and you could either choose eggs hiw you liked them cooked and pancakes. Plus of course tea and coffee. So a good choice. Also you can walk along the river from the back of the property.

David (10/5): Il faut venir plus d'un jour... - Un acceuil au top, avec une propriétaire très aimable et bienveillante. Une nuit dans un vrais lit King-size, hyper confortable. Un logement très propre ,très grand avec tout le confort . Location tournée vers le lac, pas de bruit de la route. Un Petit déjeuner au top du top 👍👍👍 avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Pancakes fait sur l'instant avec oeufs, fruits frais, un panachage de jus de fruits.... Incroyable. Bref une nuit au top, dommage c'est qu'une nuit... Le logement est hyper bien situé pour découvrir la région des Mille îles et des villes aux alentours ❤️ La chambre était à côté de la salle à manger, peut être voir à mieux insonorisé la porte palière. Personnellement il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde le matin au petit déjeuner, donc pas de réveil en fanfare.👌

Nous avons quittés avant la fin de notre séjour parce que : 1) ça ne devrait pas se nommer B&B, puisque le déjeuner n'est pas inclus - 2) la poignée contrôlant la température de la douche est tombée, pas pu prendre une douche - 3) la proprio a étendu son lavage personnel à sècher sur les tables et chaises extérieurs destinés aux clients (sous-vêtements inclus), ça ne se fait tout simplement pas - 4) À part la petite fenêtre de la salle de bain, aucune fenêtre avec moustiquaire dans la chambre, plutôt que d'utiliser le très bruyant climatiseur. Très très déçus!

Christoph (4/5): Nicht empfehlenswert - N/A Zimmer schlecht gelüftet, unangenehmer Geruch im gesamten Hotel und Zimmer. Hotelluftbild so geschickt fotografiert, dass es aussieht als ob das Hotel direkt am Fluss liegt. Zwischen Fluss und Hotel befindet sich allerdings noch eine Reihe Privathäuser. Zustand des Hotels von außen deutlich schlechter als auf Fotos. Putz bröckelt ab. Es war so unangenehm, das wir noch am Abend abgereist sind und im Travellodge Gananoque eingecheckt haben. Travellodge empfehlenswert.

No direct river access. Within 5-10 kilometers of Highway 401 on Thousand Island Parkway. A 15 minute drive to US border crossing with 5 minute line. Great breakfast with fresh fruit cocktail, as well as homemade eggs & toast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. A 5 minute drive to Gananoque with multiple river cruises, restaurants and across the street from bike trail. A half hour to Kingston with art galleries and Ft. Henry. Nothing

Dori (3/5): We were disappointed in the overall experience at this accommodation. We would not stay again. - The exterior of the building looked good. While there was potential for this to be a good place to stay, it seems to be operating on the cheap and that is evident is several areas. The towels are thin, bedding is flimsy, the curtains do not match, the common area furniture is on the second floor and is an outdoor plastic wicker couch. They charge for EVERYTHING. The chips, water, drinks, are all for a fee. The breakfast is also charged for. There are bicycles on the porch, also for a rental fee. If you are looking for a charming B and B where there are nice snacks and drinks on the counter to be enjoyed at will, and there is a real innkeeper who is present and helpful, this is not that place. The location is a particular problem, if you want to be within walking distance of the town. It is out on the parkway, away from everything. There is NO water access nearby. The bonus of staying in town would have been huge and we will be sure to check that fact more carefully next time,

The coffee maker was located in the foyer but you had to provide your own k-cups. We went to McDonald’s each morning for breakfast and coffee. Was not a typical bed & breakfast atmosphere.

Wendy (8/5): - While the woman who greeted us was very nice as well as the people serving breakfast were very attentive, there are a few things that were disappointing. First there isn’t really a view of the river at all, well a small glimpse through overgrown tall trees. additionally, there is a small refrigerator in the “lobby” where there is pepsi, diet gingerly, regular gingerly, water, and ices, all for an honor system payment of $1 for water and $2 for cans of soda. i was expecting more of a variety, maybe that is on me. the room was fine. the landscaping was nice. the facility is locked up after hours with a code you are given for the front door which is also nice. Breakfast has an assortment but they were over attentive constantly asking if we wanted eggs or pancakes. probably trying to be helpful. but we were trying to converse. i thought it was closer to the town than it was, so we simply used the location for sleeping. it was very quiet and a peaceful walk down along the rlower road aligning the river.

Stylowo, ładny wspólny taras w widokiem na rzekę, okolica spokojna, otoczona pięknymi domami i przystaniami. Duża kabina prysznicowa, ładna łazienka. Moskitiery w oknach- na szczęście, bo komary atakowały. Zadbany teren wokół budynku. Brak dostępu do rzeki- tylko tereny prywatne, Niestety narzuty i poduszki dekoracyjne były brudne. W pokoju z hydromasażem brak możliwości zaciemnienia więc światło budzi nas o świcie. Na balkonie nie było posprzątane- były porozlewane płyny Klimatyzacja wolnostojąca i bardzo głośna- na szczęście w nocy nie było gorąco ale przy otwartym oknie rano było głośno od ulicy. Mieliśmy pokój z hydromasażem. Do miasteczka zbyt daleko na piechotę- tylko samochód.

Anthony (10/5): - Riverview B&B is a gem! My partner and l thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Close to Gananoque, yet far enough away. A 23-mile cycling/walking path, mostly flat, is across the road. Bikes are available for use and the breakfast is simple yet phenomenal. If you are looking for a quiet getaway that is close to Gananoque for excursions, this is the place for you! The only caveat would be that couples would benefit more than families with children. I actually thought it would be a perfect place for a business team retreat for team-building. Amazing place!

Heike (8/5): B&B direkt am 1000 Islands Parkway - Das B&B liegt direkt am 1000 Islands Parkway, einer Panoramastraße. Wir hatten ein riesengroßes Zimmer mit zwei King-Size-Betten und zwei Badezimmern (1x Dusche & Waschtisch, 1x Toilette, Dusche & Waschtisch), dazu einen Flurbereich mit Kühlschrank. Der Zugang war von außen, das Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht inklusive, jedoch sehr günstig (7 CAD ) und wirklich gut: Kaffee, Tee, Fruchtdrinks, Cereals, Toast, Marmelade & Bagels, Frischkäse und die Angestellte bereitet Eier & Pancakes frisch zu. Es gibt eine Dachterrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser, dort gibt es auch einen Grill, den haben wir aber nicht genutzt, das Wetter war nicht ganz so stabil. Das B&B liegt sehr gut, um die 1000 Islands zu besuchen, der Skytower & Gananoque sind jeweils nur wenige Fahrminuten entfernt. Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber grundsätzlich wäre es besser, wenn es mehr Selbstversorger Facilities geben würde. So gibt es zwar einen Grill, aber kein Geschirr, eine Küchenecke im Frühstücksraum, aber der ist nur morgens auf. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett, sicherlich hätten wir rein gedurft...aber so offiziell wäre schöner. Im Zimmer wäre ein Wasserkocher toll. Restaurants gibt es erst in Gananoque oder in Rockport, das sollte man bedenken. Dafür wohnt man sehr ruhig und idyllisch in der Nähe vom Wasser (Schwimmen geht nicht, sind alles Privatgrundstücke am See).

Nathalie (9/5): Super endroit - Belle maison avec un magnifique escalier sculpté qui dessert l'étage, jolie chambre très propre et très confortable, accueil sympathique et souriant, super petit déjeuner, parking gratuit dans le jardin, super emplacement à 5 minutes de Gananoque. Jolie terrasse équipée de transats, tables et chaises, frigo bouilloire et micro-ondes à disposition si on ne veut pas chercher un restau, nous avons fait les courses et mangé sur la terrasse face à la vue, c'était top. On entend un peu le bruit de la route sur la terrasse mais c'est vraiment un détail. Et pour les amateurs, une cafetière a dosettes est à disposition au rez-de-chaussée. Ne manquez pas d'aller faire une balade a pied tôt le matin au bord du St Laurent, les écureuils n'attendent que vous.

Petit déjeuner en supplément à 7 euros avec œufs et pancakes faits à la demande. Café à disposition. Terrasse commune. Emplacement à proximité pour une croisière des mille îles et visiter Kingston. Étant les seuls et pour une seule nuit à l’étage nous ne pouvons nous prononcer sur l’insonorisation du beau lieu ancien.
