- Sally (8/5): Welcoming hotel - All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Harry. We were made to feel welcome. The housekeeping staff were diligent and discreet. The location is a bit industrial, but we did not mind that and it felt safe.

Good kitchen, delicious meals, clean rooms and amazing staff! - Amazing people running the show and handle international visitors with humor and efficiency. Extended thank to the boys in bar, you really went an extra mile for us and our team. Hotel is a bit remote from city center but in close vicinity of Tatoi air base. Situated on top of a steep hill. Cleaning works well, restaurant had amazing food (the chicken pasta!!) and very helpful reception. Only few electric sockets in the room.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Quick stay for airport - The hotel itself was great. It's in an industrial area. The location in regards to Athens center is about 25 minutes away. We stayed the night with our flight the next day, so it was very convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly, especially George. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
- T4387ADmichaelt (6/5): Beyond the marble entrance lobby, this is a very average hotel - I stayed here in February on a business trip. The hotel location can be both advantageous (away from the main city centre, but close enough for a €35 taxi ride) and disadvantageous (close to a busy viaduct with some rooms - such as 232 - subjected to loud traffic noise 24/7). The hotel facilities are surprisingly limited. The swimming pool looks very enticing, and has a large poolside area, but in February it wasn’t available to use!. The bar is very poor; poorly stocked (limited range of drinks) and open for restricted hours it seems. The restaurant is not much better. On the only night I ate in, the short menu had several items unavailable, and the waiter’s recommendations seemed to be easy-to-fry (or microwave) options. No wonder mine was the only table in there on the night I ate. Breakfast is a buffet arrangement, however, providing a good range of cereals, fruit (fresh) and yoghurt, as well as both hot cooked options (which change daily) and sliced meats/cheese too. (Tip: get a decent speciality coffee from the bar instead of the low quality coffee out of the canister) My room (232) was functional. There was no “wow” factor about it, other than it had a balcony which overlooked the swimming pool (as well as the noisy viaduct). The mattress was very lumpy and the heavy duvet will appeal to many guests, but not me! The room lacked any pictures on the wall, and I couldn’t find any tea & coffee making facilities, nor any mugs or glasses in the room. There was, however, a minibar which contained two bottles of mineral water! The air-conditioning seems to cut out in the evenings too. Maintenance and housekeeping are above average, but the grand marble entrance lobby is deceptive in that it leads to a very average 3-star hotel which will likely appeal more to business users than leisure tourists.
- 192angelam (10/5): Wonderful hotel team and best pool in the area. - My partner and I have stayed at the Dekelia 5 times now, for about 26 nights in total. It's become our home from home when we're visiting family in the area and I love everything about the place. George and his team on the pool bar, George on reception, and all the hotel team are wonderful people. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful location, with plenty of parking for all the guests. The bedrooms all have balconies and excellent power showers. It's silly to look forward to a particular bed, but I love the Dekelia's Coco-Mat beds and bed toppers. I'm guaranteed to sleep so well here. We always look forward to the varied breakfast, then relax with a coffee on the huge terrace overlooking the pool...and what a pool! We've stayed at many hotels with huge fancy pools, but this one is our favourite. Everything is kept spotlessly clean, the music isn't too loud, the pool bar is well stocked, and it just 'feels' right. The ambience is spot on. Did I mention how wonderful George and his team are? I probably did... : )

- Msfr (4/5): Only if you have to - I cannot imagine why anyone should stay in this hotel unless they have to for business reasons. The hotel is clean, the few staff are friendly but that is where it ends. Breakfast is an apology and maybe is better in high season although why would one be so far out of the town center. |The restaurant for evening meals is limited and although there are some good eateries around you need a taxi or a car (about 15 minutes drive) to get to them. Not impressed.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Dekelia Hotel has been a real surprise to us because the photos don't do it justice. Every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and hospitable, particularly the housekeepers, bar staff, and pool bar staff. Breakfast is of a very good standard and the pancakes were a welcome change. Dinner was also of a very high standard and my partner particularly enjoyed the salmon and rice dish. From our pool view room, we could see across the valley to Kifisia, but when you go down to the pool level, you could be on any Mediterranean island. The pool bar is great with friendly helpful staff, and the pool itself is perfect, just the right size to allow a good workout for serious swimmers, along with just the right warmth and vibe to make you feel like you're really on holiday and not a business trip. Because local people visit the pool (for a reasonable fee) the pool area has a steady stream of business but preference is always given to hotel guests. Congratulations on creating a great atmosphere and combining a business standard hotel with great holiday hotel facilities and feel.

Has a great and nice swimming pool, unfortunately was closed for refilling An above average business hotel, everything available in the room what you might expect. nice bath room and Airco working well. - MrsRP (10/5): - Dekelia hotel is a very attractive building with great amenities and friendly and welcoming staff. The pool is large in a beautiful, restful setting and everyone is smiling and relaxing. I found it hard to believe it is considered a 3 star hotel because it’s looks more like some 4 star hotels I have stayed in. It is clean, well kept and modern in appearance. The reception staff, the bar & kitchen staff and the cleaning staff were all extremely polite, warm and friendly. We were offered advice for places to visit be it shopping, cultural or beaches. They were always happy to chat and asked how we were and how our day out had been. I’m definitely returning there with my family. Only thing that might put some off, is that a car or taxis are really required to get around. The centre is only a few train stops away so not completely isolated. We had a car and used it to explore the area. Beautiful countryside and some pretty steep, hilly roads but it was stunning driving. Only 11 miles to the Marathon coast with lovely restaurants and locals eating there. Seafood was amazing and again friendly people to stop and chat to.

- 371safia (10/5): 4 days in Dekelia - Nice View tidy and clean rooms, the weather was cold and it was raining the view was so good from the balcony. kind and smiling staff shout out to Ms. Mary & Mr. George at the Bar. We had one Dinner Salmon and the meat fillet were really delicious. Breakfast was nice for the 1st two days, we had amazing home baked apple pie but at the 3rd day it was almost the same it's better to have more varieties Thank You Hope to visit again in the summer
- MatBacon (8/5): Great hotel - A nice little hotel on a hill. There isn’t much within walking distance but it is very quiet and comfortable. Seversl rooms have small private balconies to enjoy the evening air (or to smoke). Restaurant is good, daily breakfast buffet is good. Taxis can bring you to the Acropolis or downtown for about €20.

It’s in a very nice suburb and the pool is clean and the space is well kept with Ibizaesque music in the background.The plants and beds and umbrellas are all really lovely and they serve delicious prosecco! Thank you Michael and all your amazing team, the staff are fantastic and nothings too much trouble for them!! Great place!!
- vladimirp772 (10/5): Great value - I have visited this hotel for more than 20 times, mostly for business, and I can recommend it for any ocassion when you need a highly clean, roomey hotel with a gym and a great swimming pool, outside of Athens, but still close enough. My impressions were allways possitive and highly pleasant. Kiffisia fancy neighbourhood is 5 minutes drive away, but Dekelia is a much bigger and more affordable facility than any located exactly in it.
- 487orl (10/5): Great stay - recommended. - I stayed in Dekelia hotel when visiting Athens as there was a tennis tournament in Kiffisia that I was attending. The hotel was great - the staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. (Ordering Taxis, helping us reschedule dinner reservations, flexible re: checkout) Breakfast was perfectly reasonable (egg choice, bacon, some vegetables, some pastries, pancakes, etc). Dinner was surprising, a lot of interesting choice. I had spaghetti with chicken which was definitely tasty and not overly expensive. My friend enjoyed the Rissoto. Room was good size, water pressure great, hot water. Bed - too soft for me but I'm particular that way. Pool looked good - it was too chilly to use it. As far as transport - you have to get there by car or Taxi. Kiffisia Metro station is 15 minutes away by car. (6-7 euro by cab), from there to center of athens is about 25 minutes by Metro. Cab to the city was between 16-25 euro, depending on the time of day and traffic. For the purpose of my trip, it was a great find. If you want to visit Athens - I'd probably recommend a hotel closer to the center.

- Chris318i (6/5): Mediocre hotel in a poor surrounding - During my business trip to Athens I've stayed in the Delkelia Hotel in Kifisia for four nights. At first glance, the hotel makes a good impression, but on closer inspection there are some points of criticism. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Also the free WiFi works rather good (not allways the case in hotels). The included breakfast is ok, but there is hardly variation, i.e. after the third day I got a little bit tired of it. The outdoor pool is moderate, but nothing exceptional and the state as well as the equipment of the gym is rather poor. Last but not least, the location of the hotel is not that good (especially if you are there just by yourself). As the hotel is close to the highway it is quite loud (especially during the night which seems to be the preferred time for motorcycle racing). Furthermore if you want to do some running in the surrounding of the hotel, it is not possible due to missing sidewalks. The city center of Athens and also the coast are some kilometres away, i.e. you have to go there by car, taxi or public transport. All in all the Dekelia Hotel is acceptable and in the course of a business trip also suitable. However, if I want to spend some days in Athens with my family or friends, I would choose a hotel closer to both the city center and the sea.
- 236kevt (8/5): More than I would ask for - Great hotel if you are looking for peace and a swiming pool. Stayed at one of the rooms that overlook the pool, which is a nice view to have. As minus I can only mention the very limited power sockets and the too cold air condition setting at the diner.
- Helen (10/5): Great pool and great pool service - Dekelia Hotel was clean with a great pool. The pool staff was very helpful with explaining the rules of the pool and how to get chairs at the pool when the pool is busy. Food was great!

No real love in details (e.g. missing basics as the possibility to charge a laptop or mobile phone in the room - only one plug in the hall). The service, bed and breakfast were fine and the location relatively quite even if the closeness to the highway.

Hotel isn't located in the most convenient or nicest area. Guests would need to take a car to attractions or food as they are not walking distance.

The receptionists were moody and didn't even say good morning which is really unacceptable for this kind of job! The breakfast was ok but not sth special! If you r opting for calm vacation outside the city's noise and value for money there you go !Nearest community is Kifissia about 10-15 minutes by car!
- Darren (4/5): Never ever ever ever again - Bit disappointed in this hotel, it promised so much and paid so little. On arrival I was informed that the pool was closed for a refurbishment, spoiling my only chance for a day by the pool, I was told at least I could take coffee by the empty hole. The room was clean and adequate but a lack of air-con meant the room remained stuffy and to be honest a little claustrophobic for the entire stay. The bath room was a sweat box the shower curtain (which is not in the hotels pictures) sticks to you like a soggy carrier bag. Sorry if i sound a little moody but this is a cleansing opportunity for me. The staff were friendly and the food acceptable as long as you don't want eat until after 3.00 as the kitchen don't open till then. Its not what the brochure promised, it not even close to the sales spiel and the promises it makes. Even the location is strange, if you don't have a car then I pity you. If you do stay at the Cabo Verde in Mati, same money different world.

- Dannyp (10/5): Great location to relax and lay by the pool - staff were excellent, very friendly and went out of their way with little touches to make sure you were happy. The pool was excellent and we were able to relax and soak up the sun, with drinks from the pool bar & snacks like cheese & ham toasties during the day. Menu in the restaurant didn't have a lot of choice and my partner is vegetarian so wasn't great deal for her on offer. But the food we had was great. We then went into local village/ town New Kifisia and there were a couple of nice restaurants there, also very cheap. In particular the 'Sweet things' cafe on the main roundabout
- Eti (10/5): The best bed I ever sleep in - The hotel is very nice .the staff that work in this hotel so kind and help you with every thing . The most Comfortable bed I ever sleep much better than 5 star hotel . For us the hotel was next to the casino so it was perfect . I will come back to this hotel when ever I visit in athens .
