The hotel is clean with friendly staff. I'd definitely consider staying here again, so much so that I did ask to extend but as they're pretty busy could not get the extension so am moving with some regret.

Room was very spacious. Staff were super friendly accept the bell boy who picked up my baggage, was asking double tip. Its a shame. Location is great, just 80 mtrs to beach, and between baht bus in both directions on either side

- GrandTour00329704024 (2/5): Nightmare - I checked into the Filler house Hotel, Soi 7, Pattaya on February 5th. The next day I travelled too Phucket where I stayed with friends for two days, on my return I was given a stern dressing down for not informing the hotel of my travel plans. I didn't realise I was living in an orwellian state that tracked my every movement. This Hotel group is not for me. I'm checking out tomorrow and ill find a place more hotel like Mike from Nottingham

A/C was nice & cold in my room. There was a service phone on the wall outside my room for the cleaners that would ring often. Very annoying as it was loud. Roof top pool is good, breakfast was ok but is a good bonus. But time for me to move on from here until the room get updated. Need more pillows on the bed & a mattress topper. Beds too hard. Reasonable priced hotel. Get what you pay for.

When I checked out the girl kept screaming at me “sign ! Sign!” In very broken english so I was confused and when I finally understood what she said she gave me an attitude. The staff here is quite the worst I have ever experienced in my life and I have traveled to over 10 countries a d stayed at 50 hotels in my life. I’ve had better experiences staying at cabins in the woods. When we asked for more towels they never gave it to us even though we came down several times. I think the receptionists should be retrained

- Andrew (10/5): - I thought it was a great property. Great location, great value with breakfast. House keeping was excellent. Just switched out towels and you get two water bottles a day. Only down side is there was chain smokers next door and they kept their room door open so it flooded the hall and my room. Other than that fantastic. Pool on the roof. 7/11 around the block and I used Katy laundry service a couple blocks away. Drop off in early morning and pick up that evening. The hotel had laundry service too but I didn't inquire.
- Robert (8/5): - Flipper House Hotel was very clean and tidy. We asked for a room up the back to get away from the street noise, which we got. Breakfast did not change much from day to day, was nothing fancy but good. Our room was basic, was missing some things like a cupboard or a light near the bed. We liked the bathroom, it was spacious and you did not have to step up into the shower. The street outside is very narrow and full of bars and not much else. Also had ABC Australia on the TV, which we liked. Overall, Flipper House Hotel was good for a 3 star hotel, although we did not like the surrounding area.
- 461aungl (2/5): Terrible Reception Service - We have stayed there for 3 nights from 15 - 18 June with my wife and we had terrible experiences because of reception service. We arrived at hotel around 5 pm on the day of our checked in and the standard room what we were given had a lot of problem such as bad smoking smell and stain on bedsheet seems like blood stain. We have told all this issues to receptionist upon checked in and requested for room change if possible, but , she said that this is the only room left at hotel and they can't do anything about it. So, we ended up conversation by sending housekeeping to spray air freshener and change the bed sheet. Our arrival experience begun with terrible serviced from reception. We also noticed that AC inside the room was noisy and not cold enough. But, we stopped telling to reception because there will be no recovery whatsoever so we kept quiet staying at same room. Prior one day to our departure, we have approached to receptionist that there will be any chance if we can get late check out because of our late flight from Bangkok, however, receptionist said they can't provide complimentary late check out and it will be charged 500 THB after 12 PM standard check out time. When we asked to meet with in charge person or manager, receptionist said manager will be available here after 9:00 am and we can come to complain whatever we wanted. Not only receptionist considered offering service which convenience for guest, but also the way they treated the guest was terrible as not smiling, not paying attention while listening, not flexible and they hold very bad attitude which they reflect don't care manner to guest and the reception service needed to be improved a lot. Besides, we don't recommend this hotel staying for couple or family because hotel was located surrounded by massages, bars, clubs, prostitutes especially from evening till mid night where it wasn't pleasant to walk around the hotel at all. Only good thing about this hotel was breakfast and close to beach. That it.
- Yeng (4/5): - Everything was ok except the house keeper she seems angry after we mention about the extra bed that they didn’t add to the room and when check out time make to check all of the drinks in the room before left because there were some drink in the room that isn’t free so when we left for check out I already checked all the water they all good but when they told the house keeper lady (the same one that upset on us) to go check everything and they said that we open a bottle water so they gone charged us for that I was tell the reception that I already checked before we left the house keeper said that the water was open she might do that on purpose or could be that

- Jessica (2/5): - Me and my family stayed at Flipper Hotel for a night. It wasn't something that we expected. The person who checked us in wasn't so friendly and approachable. We booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms that we stayes to has an awful smell. It seems that the smell was coming from the bathroom. Since we are only going to stay for one night we just ignored and waites for the morning to come. Another thing was that we also approached the taxi personnel and asked about the price for the drop off from Pattaya to Bangkok the next day, we were told that the price was 1000 Baht, I even gave him the name of the hotel that we will be staying in Bangkok and still the price was the same. I asked him if I can book it right away to which he said that I can just approach him the next morning. Morning came and I approached the same desk and I told the guy that I need to book a transportation and then he gave me 1800 so I told him that the other guy from last night told me that its 1000 Baht, but he insist that they cant give me that price. Like why would I say thag its 1000 if they did not say so last night? I was not happy about it so we just push through with our Coral Island tour. After the tour we went back to the hotel and my niece talked to the same person who gave us 1000 Baht rate and complained about the change on the rate but the guy said that he never said 1000Baht instead its 1900. So with all this, it seems that there is always a change on prices which is not supposed to be.
- Michael (8/5): - Flipper house was a great value to stay at in Pattaya! It has a great massage place connected to it also that you can pay and have them come to your room. Its about 25 min walk to Walking Street and 12 mon to Soi 6. All kinds of bars and restaurants and markets inbetween. Room was clean, spacious, decent shower and ok since they pulled 2 twin beds together to make it bigger. But for price and location it was good, not great, but great value.

- Gary (6/5): Didn’t enjoy my stay. - I arrived at 1.30 to be told that my room wasn’t ready and to wait until 2pm. Come 2.05pm I head back to reception, to be told it still wasnt ready. Obviously I wasn’t best pleased after they made me wait and knew I was waiting to check in, and then 2 minutes later after making a fuss my room was miraculously ready. Bad form. The TV did not work, it was a smart tv which couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi, I called the bellboy who connected it but as soon as he left the tv lost connection again. I gave up trying again and used my spare mobile for YouTube/music. The shower pressure was terrible, really bad, it was a slow drizzle, I only stayed for 3 days and couldn’t wait to leave. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment, the air con was fairly good, the toilet was small and dark, the bellboys were friendly but front off house (reception) seemed miserable and didn’t enjoy the job. I would never stay here again. Value for money, no. Go elsewhere.

- lifeintheprovincest (8/5): Nice location for adult visitors - Nice large rooms in a very nice central location, minutes walk from the beach and multiple bars on its doorstep (was worried about the noise later in the evening but didn't hear music blaring at all) close to central Pattaya mall. Very reasonably priced and included a free buffet style breakfast which they serve until 11am which is great after a late night. Underground parking which was a godsend in the summer heat. The only gripe i have about this hotel is the ridiculous drinks prices at the rooftop pool, they dictate no outside food or beverages are permitted but then charge 106 baht for a small 330 ml Leo beer. Good place to stay would stay again not really a place for families with young children in my opinion

- Paul (10/5): - Location was excellent. Close to bars and beach. All staff friendly and efficient. I preferred the Thai breakfast to the western version. Sometimes noisy at night with the bars belting out tunes but hey that goes with the territory…
