Breakfast choices was decent Our room was on first floor and there was a lot of outside noise due to 18 wheeler trucks parking through the night or starting their engines to depart. Our sink had a very slow drain and the stopper wasn’t connected.
- Melanie (10/5): - Location was great- close proximity to what we were traveling for. Very clean, updated bath, friendly staff. There was nothing that could have been better- we were very pleased.
- Katherine (9/5): Very pleasant stay! Friendly staff that went over and above to make our stay very enjoyable. -
- Dara (5/5): For the price of the hotel, it should be spotless but it wasn’t. - The room is cozy Cleanliness! The rooms had a lot of hair especially the bathroom. Also, the carpet wasn’t clean.
- Madeline (8/5): Want my refund, otherwise was nice stay! - Comfortable clean room Very nice staff. I had booked first night with booking.com for total 233.00. Made another reservation for the Sat nite with the hotel chad 269.+. Told manager that when I cued in that I had two separate reservations. Got no invoices when I cld in. Got home and had invoices inemail. Saw I had been chad 269.+ for BOTH nights by hotel. Disregarded my lower price reservation with booking.com. Called hotel in Natchitoches. Girl at desk said she would have manager call me (she was foreign speaking). He never called yet. Will try again today to get refund!! Very disappointed in this!!!
- Danny (6/5): To much noise coming from other rooms - Location Having to wait for the receptionist to get back to the front. 10 minutes after we walked in

- Jennifer (6/5): - The bagels weren't fresh and the oatmeal wasn't fresh everything else was just fine. There were lots of options eggs sausage yogurt with all the toppings cereal two milk flavors four juice options fruit.
- Arnold (3/5): - It was noisy. There was slow draining of the bathroom sink.
- Gerald (8/5): -
- Margaret (6/5): Loud upper floor renovations happening 8/30/25 - 8/30/25. Went for a weekend trip to visit my daughter at college. There was a lot of hotels right around there with a lot of construction around the hotels. I had stayed at 2 others right around there before when visiting my daughter and there were a lot of workmen around but nothing like this experience.
They must have been renovating the 2nd floor at this hotel because from 8 am-5/6pm they were banging and dropping things on the floor. It was consistently loud during these hours. We were on the first floor. The walls vibrated consistently when they used machinery or moved things or whatever kind of renovation was going on. It was clearly not loud neighbors. I was very disappointed because it was not a cheaper stay by any means. Room was around 180/night.
It was definitely not a pleasant stay.
I posted the date in case someone was planning to stay around this time so they were aware.
- Jeff (4/5): Cheap pillows and weird water!!! - Pillows are cheap and CHEAP!! Lousy pillows!!!
Water coming out of faucets was BROWN!!
We brushed our teeth with bottled water!!
- Oneka (10/5): - Cleanliness & Breakfast. Also, very nice lady at the desk
- Chelsea (10/5): - Only complaint the front desk was really slow. Had two people working but only one waiting on people and they had like 5 people waiting.
- LAUREN (4/5): - Room had a horrible smell, sheets did not smell clean. The floor looked as if it had not been vaccumed in months.
We will not be using this hotel again. Way over priced
- Bill (8/5): - Excellent staff and convenient access to interstate and eating options.
Beds comfortable. Can't wait until the renovations are completed.
- Judy (8/5): - Good location! Friendly staff!!
- Nkululeko (2/5): - They over booked me and canceled my booking about 2 hours before check in. I am still waiting for me refund
- LauraLee (8/5): - The staff was excellent and personable, all smiles and very accommodating. The property was dated, vents in room were covered in dust and the door frames were rusted. Not pleasant to look at, but did the job well enough. Clean bed to sleep in and the TV worked. Pillows were uncomfortably soft, bring your own.
- cynthia (10/5): - Clean
- Tammy (10/5): - Nice stay. Staff was very friendly
- Brittany (2/5): - I paid for my hotel through Expedia and they charged me for the rooms. I’ve yet to get the money back.
- Pamela (7/5): -
- Emily (4/5): - I booked and secured a double- bed room. I brought my grandmother to this town for her brother's funeral. she is not able to get around by herself. I booked the double beds because that is what we needed and wanted. It is NOT what I paid for. when I checked- in they had none available, just a king. Not sure how this happened but I would like a some type of credit for this inconvenience and total disaster in functionality. the hotel said they had none available due to renos. okay so again why was i allowed to book and never notified so i could have made other arrangements elsewhere before driving in from out of town.
- Kathlene (10/5): - Check in was smooth as I did it online. Got to the hotel an hour and a half before check in. The man at the desk was super polite and helpful as he was able to get us checked into our rooms an hour and a half earlier since we needed rest before going to my son’s foorball camp. The rooms smell clean and appear to be well maintained. Sheets and bed are extra comfy. Shower pressure is great! Body wash is rejuvenating, lavender and eucalyptus. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely start staying at motor Fairfield Inns. They do have some remodeling taking place on the third floor, but the noise was minimum. Really are enjoying our stay. Can’t wait for the complementary breakfast!
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- William (8/5): Good place to stay - Everything at Fairfield in Natchitoches was good. Beds could be a little softer but were OK.
Internet was a bit slow when watching movies on computer or tv. Whatever it was caused picture to blank or freeze every couple of minutes.
Otherwise, everything else was great and breakfast was good.
- Princess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brinda (6/5): - I like the location. I disliked that the room was unacceptable that we had to move out.
- Joseph (8/5): Nice the first day. Second day was explosive. - Very clean and nice staff No water pressure in bathroom sink. The chain came off in the toilet, I had to fix. Second day breakfast, the sausage was very salty. I had diarrhea soon after eating.
- Hunter (10/5): - Best hotel choice in Natchitoches
- Frannie (4/5): - The beds at this location are very uncomfortable. Breakfast was cold.
- Julius (2/5): - Been here over an hour novody to checl us in
- Wendi (8/5): Very good -
- Tressie (10/5): - Professional
- Susanna (2/5): Terrible conditions - We have stayed at a many hotels this has been one of the worst as far as cleanliness. We got to the hotel there were no linens for the sofa sleeper. So my son went down and asked for linens they gave him damp pillow because it was like it had been washed and bagged with the bed linens everything in the bag smelt moldy. The draw blinds were broken and one had a pull string with a paper clip holding the pole together and was very difficult to close. Very disappointing. I have stayed at many Fairfield's and sister hotels of Marriot. I am in disbelief on how this one has been kept up.
- Arnold (9/5): Superb - The bathroom does not have a vent fan. The halogen bulb above the bathroom sink was out. I was having a problem with the telephone and couldn't call the front desk. I always have a problem with WI-FI when I am here.
- Joy (1/5): We got a screwing on our stay! I will be calling corporate tomorrow -
- Jamillah (5/5): Hotel needs to be updated - Hotel Needs to be updated. TV didn’t work.
- Joy (1/5): We were denied our reservation that had been confirmed because the room had not been cleaned and they supposedly had no -
- Tony (10/5): Jerome at the front desk - Jerome at the front desk was professional and amazing. I was coming in late from Dallas and he made sure my room was saved and even signed me up for Marriott reward points. The entire stay was amazing.
- Marsha (10/5): - Courtesy staff
- Dominguez (10/5): Exceptional -
- jerri (10/5): Great stay in Natchitoches - Room was comfortable. Service was excellent, especially Jeremy. We did not eat breakfast there. We were able yo walk to nearby stores.
- harvey (10/5): - Great hotel
- Matthew (10/5): Great service! - Hotel employees were outstanding! Front desk person was great. Very helpful. Help us find a restaurant. The only thing that I can complain about is the mattress. It was awful.
- Q8416POsusanr (2/5): Nope. Not again - Mold, dusty…. cleaning staff all need improvement and training. Company policy is to replenish rooms with clean linens and remove trash every other day so get used to a pile of dirty towels and bags of trash in your room. If you’re lucky they’ll come in and clean when they’re supposed to. We will not stay there again. I notice they have a lot of men with work boots. I assume their main clientele is guys and they don’t notice the dirt, dust and mold on the walls behind the toilet otherwise they wouldn’t have any rooms rented. They probably give a corporate rate. I don’t know how they have four stars??? Not from my stay for sure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay
- John (8/5): - Requested a room not on first floor. Staff member didn't show interest to accommodate my request
- Pamala (10/5): Clean, comfortable & convenient - Clean, comfortable & convenient for our needs
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - I love Fairfield hotels. The hotel was clean, quite , outstanding. Beautiful
- STERLING (10/5): - Great Hotel extremely nice helpful staff clean quiet always enjoy my stay.
- Curiosity602244 (4/5): Not what we expected from a Marriott property. - The lighting in the bathroom was so bad I had to go get a flashlight to dry my hair and put on makeup. Even after the bulb was replaced. The shower had a bar of used soap in it and a dirt stain on the floor. The TV quit working and couldn’t be fixed or replaced. There was a horrible stain on the drapes. Vent in the bathroom was dirty and rusty. Staff were friendly but couldn’t fix any of it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. We won’t stay here again.
- Avery (10/5): - Loved the stay! The desk staff were incredibly welcoming and made our stay nice
- Robert (2/5): - Showed up for check in and hotel was dark except for two staff in lobby with emergency lights on. They had my reservation but told me power outage had shut hotel down. I received no notification of this via email or text from the hotel or Travelocity. Was told I was “on my own” to find accomodation elsewhere. Luckily, Best Western nearby had rooms availble. POOR performance by both Travelocity and Fairfield/Marriott in not making contact.
- Martina (7/5): Good -
- Ashanti (6/5): - I liked the fluffy towels. I did not like the hard bed or the cheap toilet paper. Good thing I brought my own.
- Patricia (10/5): - Basic Fairfield.
- Lockey (10/5): Get plenty to get away. - My stay was very convenient, quiet and peaceful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean Place. Friendly staff. Good location. Would stay here again.
- Gretchen (4/5): - Location was good for graduation but the hotel water pressure was horrible. Barely had enough water to brush teeth, take shower or flush toilet.
When I inquired about it to the front desk they acted like it was the first they heard of it and said they would let maintenance know. However other guest had the same problem so they had to be aware of this but didn’t inform guest but still took their money like it was no issue. I was not happy about this.
- Carl (8/5): Over night stay - It was ok for the night we were there.
- Annie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maranda (9/5): Superb - I love the staff everyone was so helpful. Very polite and accommodating. The shower was not clean. The refrigerator was not clean
- VICTOR (4/5): Not good - The room had and strong and strange odor that remained until night, why ignore what it was. The front desk service started good but turned bad when I requested to fix the tv signal 3 times. I spoke with 3 different employees who worked there that they and ALL they promised to do something about it and no one did NOTHING. The food was ok even when the lady at the bar tried hard to keep up with the demand BY HERSELF.
- Blair (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Sherry (10/5): - Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Room was clean and extra towels were readily available. Breakfast was hot and fresh regardless of what time we ate. Our stay was very enjoyable.
- Marshall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arianna (10/5): - The hotel location was right off Hwy49 which was easy to get to. The hotel was clean and staff were very courteous.
- Stelly (10/5): Great choice so a Nachitoches Christmas weekend - The concierge was sooooo nice!!! She was beyond exceptional. Nothing
- Edward (8/5): Nice. - Overall, very good stay, with very friendly staff and a great breakfast spread.
However, it looked like there was water damage on the ceiling of the bathroom and the shower could use a good scrub.
- Keltrice (6/5): It was ok - My room was never cleaned while I occupied it. They also had to change my room at check in because the first room offered had a dirty bed.
- Jean (10/5): - quiet
- Timothy (4/5): - My assign room 221, I first notice dried paint dripping on the bathroom, the broken tile next to the shower. Shower door wouldn't close completely so i had to put a towel to absorb the water. The shampoo dispenser fell off the wall, while i was showering. I was stuck on with adhesive, and the sink drain very slow. It wasn't worth the price.
- 587ninat (4/5): Business Travel - I have only spent one night so far of a 4-night stay and I am beyond unhappy and frustrated with the hotel. It is Sunday and no one works here on the weekend except for a front desk clerk who is doing his best but has no ability to help. My room has no heat and since maintenance does not work on the weekends and there are no available rooms I am sitting here very cold. When I checked into the room, the trash by the desk had not been emptied and there was a used washcloth in the tub. I threw both in the trashcan by the elevator. Housekeeping here is not great - not even good. I should add that this is the second room I was moved to since in the first room the light in the bathroom did not work and neither did the phone, so of course since maintenance does not work on the weekends it could not be fixed. This is a weekend where the rooms are sold out - why would there not be a manager and a maintance person on call for issues that arise on the weekend? Why were these issues not caught prior to a guest checking in by housekeeping (beause housekeeping is not well trained or supervised!). I, like others, am very disappointed with the condition of this property and the lack of services.
- Sybil (10/5): Christmas Joy - We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our stay. The lady at the front desk was amazing and so full of Christmas joy I just loved her. Sen needs a raise.
- Kenneth (2/5): - Hotel had numerous Maintenace issues, like tv's not working, vanity light not working, rude front office maanger
- Sarah (8/5): Fine - It was nice. Breakfast was fine. Little noisey guests but not the hotels fault
- Valerie (6/5): Too pricey for value - Location and friendly staff We didn't have bedding for the sleeper sofa
The light over the bathroom sink was out not only in our room, but our daughter's room as well.
Our daughter and son in law's room wasn't clean, a used bar of soap and trash in trash can.
The wallpaper in the dining area was very much coming off the wall. That's an easy 5 minute fix with some paste.
