But the view from the rooftop is worth seeing. Broken lock on the balcony that never allowed it to close properly (and cut street noise). Worn-out room with some patch painting. Non-operating TV. Double bed that was not proper double, but just two single with joint mattress cover. One pillow never had pillowslip and always was resting in closet

De bedden waren heerlijk. En het personeel was super vriendelijk. De badkamer is aan renovatie toe. De doucherichel is met ductape vastgeplakt.

• Timothy (10/5): I always enjoy staying at the Corinne, the staff are welcoming,warm and friendly, speak impeccable English and go above - This is a beautiful hotel that exudes nostalgic grandeur with it’s sweeping marble staircase and interior detail. Set in an excellent location for meandering the old winding streets of Istanbul with its eclectic mix of shops and the easy access to the hustle and bustle of istiklal.
• Sarah (9/5): - The location is excellent, right in a lively area with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, and cafés nearby. The staff was kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided each day, which was very much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself was spacious and well-sized, making our stay pleasant. Photos on Google suggest that there is a terrace with tables and a view; however, in reality, there is no access to it, which was disappointing. Additionally, the underfloor heating was set far too high. The temperature increased significantly on higher floors, and the floor was extremely hot in the entrance and bathroom, to the point of being uncomfortable. Although there was no underfloor heating in the room itself (parquet flooring), the overall temperature remained excessively high. As a result, we had to use the air conditioning at night, despite it being only 10°C outside. The airflow was directed straight onto the beds, which was not ideal. We requested that the heating be lowered, but the adjustment had little noticeable effect - the temperature still reached at least 30°C, and even higher in the bathroom. We would recommend that more attention be paid to temperature regulation, as it can significantly impact the comfort of the stay.

• AIDOS (6/5): Best suitable for single people, not so family with kids friendly. - Location Furniture is all cracked (mirror, sliding door mechanism, doors were somewhat repaired after cracking but can see stains on 'em), the toothpaste kit was not in a plastic bag i.e. you have a feeling that it has been used, the bathtub is dirty, no toilet brush (though we asked for one). There is no breakfast on the premise (though it's brought from outside) and there is no access with baby strollers (you gotta pick it up yourself up the stairs to the elevator).

L'hôtel est propre mais mériterait d'être mieux entretenu. La chainette de sécurité de la chambre 54 était cassée. Une des fenêtres ne fermait pas bien (le gong supérieur avait disparu) créant des infiltrations visibles de pluie sur le beau parquet (quel dommage). Dans la salle de bain, la douche présente des joints vétustes + présence régulière de remontée d'égout.
• wolf tilmann (9/5): - Leider gibt es kein Frühstück mehr . Ich bin schon 10 mal in dem hotel gewesen, alles war immer super. Aber saß kein Frühstück mehr angeboten wird ist ein echtes Manko. Klar manche gehen raus zum Frühstück aber ich liebe es im hotel zu frühstücken. Aber man hat mir morgens Kaffee gemacht .Ich hoffe das das restaurant im hotel wieder aufmacht.

Good breakfast places in walking distance and also not far from Karakoy port (approx 15min walk) The onsite coffee shop was a delight with very good cofee and lovely atmosphere. Staff were very good. Always polite and helpful anytime of the day. There was underfloor heating which and the beds were so comfy, we had a fantastic stay and would really like to say thank you to all of the staff that were working during our stay. The pictures are true images of the hotel. Nothing.

The location was perfect, surrounded by charming cafés and lively bars in a beautiful neighborhood, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. Both the room and the hotel itself were beautiful, well-maintained, and very inviting. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

• Elena (9/5): Уютное и спокойное место, куда хотелось бы вернуться! - В общем расположение отеля очень удачное, выбирали между районами фатих и истикляль, и не прогадали. Вышли - и сразу можно гулять, масса разных кафе, ресторанов на каждом углу. Искали "под старину", но свежий, и так и оказалось, номер в стиле 18-19 веков, но светлый и чистый. Пол в ванной комнате подогреваемый, у нас была ванна, этаж 3 (при условии что 0 этаж как ground floor). Вид из окна на руины, но мы и особо не находились в номере. Кстати, окна есть даже в ванной, и от них много света. Я считаю, что это очень удачный отель и я бы еще раз сюда приехала. На ресепшене брали постоянно вкусные леденцы, и в баре дали классный чай для заваривания. Доброжелательный персонал. Фотографии прикладывать не буду, т.к. снимали на видео. Отель рекомендую. Можно было бы добавить завтраки (хотя они там есть за доп.плату), чтобы были включены в стоимость. Иногда хочется проснуться и пойти сразу перекусить и выпить кофе. Также можно было бы улучшить - жалюзи, они старые. И фен, если честно, очень маленький - не совсем понятно, что им можно посушить, слабоват.

• Diana (9/5): Awesome. We will return. - The suite we booked was truly spacious, really comfortable and the bedding was of fantastic quality. Housekeeping is very good. Receptionists extremely helpful. We loved the ambiance, pity only that the rooftop was closed. Breakfast bit standard.

• أحلام (7/5): جميله جدا باستثناء الافطار .. - نظيف جدا وهادي مناسب لمن يحبون الانتيك السرر مريحه وغير مستهلكه والحمام دافي الكوفي لطيف جدا موظف الاستقبال متعاون وعامله النظافه ( Gimal) ودوده .. لايوجد اطلالات في الشرفه الموقع قد لا يعجب البعض في حاره ولكن تجاريه وتدخل فيها السيارات بسهوله .. لا يوجد عامل للمساعده في حمل الشنط الافطار مخيب للامال بارد قليل بخيل ولا يستحق ثمنه ..

Heated flooring was excellant and a wonderful surprise. Room size perfect. Loved the high ceiling. Breakfast was included.

Don’t miss the terrace with view over Istanbul on the 6th floor. There is nothing else but the priceless view. Room cleaning was kind of weird. There were missing towels since day two or for the floor or the small one. No information if water in the small bottles was free.
• Diana (9/5): Beautiful boutique hotel with a beautiful cafe, elegant, spacious rooms. Very clean and large bathrooms. With a cute li - The hotel is beautiful, just as the pictures. The rooms are spacious, we stayed at a studio and was very comfortable, a big bathroom and very classy. We stayed for 8 days and were very comfortable. The location was perfect for us in a very trendy area close to small shops, neighborhood cafes and restaurants and also close to major shopping streets. If you can handle walking uphill and on cobblestone streets, You can walk everywhere and enjoy to see everyday life in Istanbul. Very safe all the time! Just recommendations as it was a perfect stay: more staff willing to speak English or communicate with a translator app as we tried to speak Turkish. We were lucky that Ihsan was at the time of check in, who speaks perfect English and was extremely welcoming and would assist us every time he was at the property.

• Ahmed (3/5): - ​I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel is very old and looks nothing like the professional photos shown on Booking.com. Here are the main issues we faced: ​Check-in & Rooms: The check-in process for 7 rooms took over two hours! The rooms are extremely small, outdated, and many items were broken. The walls have zero soundproofing; we couldn't sleep at all due to the noise from the street, cars, and the nearby nightclub which was incredibly loud. ​Breakfast: The breakfast was terrible and lacked variety. On several days, there were no eggs, no fruits, and they even ran out of tea! The breakfast area is tiny and cannot accommodate a group if everyone comes down at the same time. ​Housekeeping & Amenities: Room cleaning was neglected for an entire day. Basic amenities like drinking water were often missing (either forgotten or intentionally not provided). No slippers were provided for the room or bathroom. There were also not enough clothes hangers. ​Facilities: The central heating was inconsistent and kept cutting out. One of the two elevators was constantly delayed or stuck on the 5th floor. Also, the balcony is so small that two people cannot even sit together. ​Guest Service: During rainy days, the hotel didn't even have enough umbrellas for the guests. ​I do not recommend this hotel at all. It was a very poor experience and definitely not worth the price paid.

• D (6/5): Quaint & Funny - So, where to start Corinne is a beautiful classic hotel that helps you step in time and with an old school boutique style. We started in a Deluxe Corner Room no.16 (we were informed it was an upgrade). It was large, with a comfy bed and a nice hot shower. We entered the room to find all the windows wide open, something we realised later was to mask the sewage smell from the bathroom that progressively became a little stronger over the nights. We found a few things a little funny surrounding the details, like no toilet brush in the bathroom, the electric circuit box ajar, curtains not hung properly, no kettle but coffee/tea/sugar sachets and cups present. All these aside, we looked at the positives. As I had made two bookings due to Booking.com being a complete shambles our next room was to be a Deluxe Studio (no.24), it was more expensive however a little compact but the plus side was that it had a bath and a little balcony, so hey, all good. Well.... all good until the bath water basically flooded the bathroom from somewhere underneath. So we were moved back and were promised room no. 36 the following day, (this room promised to be another Deluxe Corner Room but this time with two balconies). Ok, come the following morning, there seems to be lots of confusion about what was agreed upon as one colleague hadn't informed the other. We then ended up in room no .54 with two mattresses joined to make a double. All in all...the front side of the hotel is more for those of you that do not mind a little bit of street chatter with traffic hoots every now and then to get a feeling of the city. The corner rooms have more space, and the higher up you are in the hotel the better the light and sense of privacy. Rooms facing the back of the hotel are quieter with the view of nothing but the backs of buildings which shouldn't really matter if you are out and about each day. Sewage smell in room, flooding of bathroom and cigarette smells from other guest rooms

Super bequemes Bett, Fußbodenheizung im Bad, Badewanne und einen kleinen Balkon gab’s auch 😊 wir waren im Winter hier und uns war nie kalt, die Zimmer sind gut beheizt. Die Lage ist super, man kommt zufuß überall hin 😊 Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und kompetent. Besonders möchte ich Şahin von der Rezeption danken, er hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Anliegen und war sehr freundlich! Als wir auf unser Taxi warteten, haben wir ein Glas Tee von ihm bekommen, wirklich nett! 😊 Das Frühstück könnte ein bisschen mehr Auswahl haben und liebevoller gestaltet sein 😅

Water kettle tripped the electricity supply, TV remote not working, shower drainage choked, shower screen glass size too small & the plastic strips at the glass edges disappeared, wetting the bathroom. Timber floor was a little sticky. While they said my room was an upgrade, the pillows were small and other rooms had bigger pillows.
• Ferdinand (5/5): Centrally located and charismatic building but heating issues - Hotel is well located in the Beyoğlu area, close to some restaurant and at walking distance of many visits. The building has a lot of charisma and potential, high ceilings, etc... The room was spacious and rather clean. Main issue was the floor heating that was running too high, making it necessary to switch on the rather noisy AC at night to cool down the temperature. Duvets were very warm, which didn't make it easy to sustain the heat, also surprinsingly (with 5° outside) there were mosquitoes in the room (still wondering where they were coming from). Rather sad view on a messy courtyard. The staff tried to be accommodating but didn't really have any solution.

Konumu Beyoğlunun ortasında yani her yere yürüme mesafesinde, toplu taşıma ve vapurlar buna dahil. 10 dakikada metroda, vapurda, Karaköyde, Galatadasınız ve 1 dakikada Istiklalin veya Cihangirin göbeğindesiniz. Hotelin çevresi sakin ve gecesinde de güvenli bir bölge. Çalışan arkadaşlar güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Hotelin içi de gerçekten çok güzel bir ambiyansa sahip. Biz çok memnun kaldık, mutlaka tekrar konaklarız.

The staff were excellent -- very efficient, accommodating, friendly but not overly familiar. The breakfast was not overwhelming. Just right. The room, though, had a faint smell of damp which went away whenever I opened the windows. Overall, my stay was great. Outstanding considering the very convenient location. I'll stay in this hotel again. Nothing, really. Perhaps the room about which I've mentioned earlier.

• Fidaije (7/5): Shopping Lage - Positiv: • Top Lage! Nur 3–5 Minuten bis mitten nach Taksim – perfekt für Shopping, Restaurants und das Nachtleben. • Das Personal ist extrem hilfsbereit, freundlich und wirklich zuvorkommend. Besonders Shahin. Negativ: • Das Hotel ist leider deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte eine umfassende Renovierung. • Das Rooftop war wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen – sehr schade, da es ein Highlight sein könnte. • Das Frühstück war sehr mager und definitiv nicht dem Preis entsprechend. • Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht.
