Guest Reviews
- Thomasine (8/5): - We checked in late and checked out early
The room was very clean
- David (10/5): - This property is under renovations. The room we weree assigned was renovated and the bed was so comfortable we wish we could have stayed longer.
- David (4/5): - Remodeled rooms? No smoke detectors, no handles on the faucet to turn on the sink, no Kleenex, no clock, phone in room doesn’t work. Bed was okay but slept in clothes because who knows??
- Sharon (6/5): - Again with the bed! Yuck dirty sheet that does not fit and mattress pad was gross. Did have a nice sports bar connected that had pretty good food. Alley behind was SCARY. They say it is pet friendly but nowhere to walk your pets that is safe
Not thrilled!
- Elaine (4/5): - There were 3 of us adults. We liked the bar and restaurant. The floors in the bathroom were dirty. Shower curtain was stained. The tub drained very slowly. The fire detector was covered with a plastic bag. Felt very unsafe. The window was loose so the wind kept banging it all night long. No breakfast on weekdays and no coffee potin the room. The holder for the hairdryer had a sticky red sustance in it. Only 2 towels provided. Won"t stay again.
- Jorge (10/5): - Staff was super friendly and truly cared. Woman at front desk was very helpful and super nice. Thanks to all the staff.
- Jose (10/5): - We spent a good time
- Ervin (8/5): - Overall good property. Couldn’t get the a/c to come on but the front desk lady came and got it going. Nice rooms.
- Samantha (2/5): - It’s was what you would expect a cheap motel to be. Dirty, flickering lightbulbs everywhere, garbage, the pool was green, broken down cars and questionable individuals walking around the lot at all hours. The staff was very nice though, not like they can do anything about it. My first room smelled terrible but the desk woman gladly took me on a hunt to find a room that didn’t stink like mold or urine. But again, you get what you pay for. I wasn’t expecting much, and definitely it definitely met that expectation.
- Leslie (2/5): - The room had someone's old shirt in the drawers and food in the fridge. The clothing rack was partially ripped out of the wall and the bathroom door didn't close due to the toilet location! I am grateful we brought our own blankets and were only passing through for one night!!
- jeff (6/5): - construction made it hard to go in and out, room was alright ciean ,no coffee on site
- Shawna (4/5): - Fridge completely ripped out of the Cabinet frame. It shows on a picture that there is continental breakfast, which is false. The carpet in the room has rips in it. The front desk associate Attire is sleepwear.
- Brenda (4/5): - There were bugs in the toilet and bathtub the bathroom was filthy
- Gary (4/5): - Road construction made the stay pretty bad. Lots of traffic…very noisy and no soundproof walls. Only a shower, no tub. Shampoo/conditioner in packets together. We aren’t in the room much, but this was pretty bad. However, the room seemed clean.
- raymond (8/5): - Wall to Wall carpeting, shampoo. Needs brighter lighting, no coffee maker in room.
- Kari (2/5): - Toilet broken - handle, water ran continuously and didn’t always allow flush.
Very old towels- you could use them to wash your car.
Hard bed. No blankets in room or on bed. Just a thin scratchy bedspread.
No way to contact front desk.
Mud everywhere due to construction.
Will not stay again. Thankfully we just needed a quick snooze during our cross country drive. This place is in need of a major overhaul. The pictures online are misleading. Cheap for a quick sleep, but if you have kids or need a really good nights sleep AVOID this motel.
- kerry (4/5): - Shower sprayed water everywhere, TV wouldn’t connect kept saying no service, coffee maker was broke!
- Myrna (2/5): - We heard at the Casino there were bugs found i. The room and decided to drive home. Paid for the room but never went in due to told there were bugs
- Fortino (10/5): - Room was clean and staff were very helpful
- Robert (4/5): - The toilet wouldn’t flush, so I had to rebook the rusty chain to the flapper. The vanity sink was very slow draining. The mattress was really hard.
- Noah (6/5): - Got in late and felt very sketchy
- Thomas (8/5): No frills but comfortable - Don't expect alot of extras but comfortable room with large double beds and everything was clean.
- Dustin (8/5): - N/a
- Kadelyn (2/5): - Nothing in room was plugged in. Sink never drained. Phone and hair dryer never worked. Holes in the wall. Never had enough towels. Never will stay there again.
- mark (10/5): - Property was long in the tooth, but was very pristine. A very good value!
- Peggy (6/5): - Our room was the farthest one away from the pet area.
- alyssa (2/5): - The room was unclean, furniture was stained, walls were damaged. Bathtub was discussing, dirty, had a huge Spider in it & a wrapper stuffed in drain. The toiletries were open & used. There wasn't even a smoke detector in the room.
- Gary (6/5): - Room was clean and adequate for the price. Cheap TV propped up against the wall. Bed was too firm for us, but pillows were nice . We received a handicap room for some reason with no tub…we did not request a handicap room. Lastly, the place is super noisy especially at night from traffic…lots of truck traffic.
- Mark (10/5): - Always clean and nice staff
- Kathryn (4/5): - Poor condition. Bad lighting. No attention to fixing things. I had to move to another room due to horrible smell. New room had a very comfortable bed! Believe I got a suite. But no light in bath over sink. Hard to put on makeup
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice - Good hotel, nice for just a come and go hotel.
- Jason (2/5): - Staff was awful and rude and it was a waste of my money who starts rebuilding a room next to guest at 6am?
- Irene (2/5): - There were no empty room and the clerk was very rude
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not a spot for families to stay - Took forever to check they were not prepared and no parking spots anywhere due to a bar being located within parking lot towels were stained did not feel safe
- LeGrande (6/5): - Staff not overly friendly or helpful, wasn’t sure doorbell was working as it took so long for a response and had to wait FOREVER in cold while she processed paperwork that I had done online already. Bathroom not very clean so price seemed excessive for qualify of room.
- Mariah (2/5): - I felt uncomfortable being checked in as though it was a hassel. Then I was unable to park by the room. Its a budget inn so I wasn't expecting much. Got to my room and the remote to the TV had no batteries. The smoke alarm was in a cupboard with the battery beside it. The bathroom door was missing quite a bit of the front panel, and the coffee table looked like it was dragged on its corner. The worst was there was dried blood under the coffee table, I didn't find it till the morning and if I had found it that night i would have left. Not impressed. Not worth the 80 dollars I paid.
- Kenneth (6/5): - This place needs a lot of work.
- Kay (6/5): - Staff was very nice. Room was extremely worn. Pet smell was bad. Parking lot had garbage everywhere. Dried vomit in the lot. Wifi bad. No breakfast thou orbitz said there was.
- Jessie (10/5): - Great room, service, very friendly saff too. Will stay here again.
- Gretchen (8/5): - Easy access off of the 54. Limited parking for vehicles with trailers. Broken fixtures and phone in room doesnt work
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean room and great plumbing. Great traveling stop.
- Crystal (2/5): Never stay here - The room they gave me was dirty. So they gave me another room..they were rude about the first room being dirty. No breakfast at all and we still pay full price for rooms!!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The REFZ bar located on site was very nice and good food, good service.
Our coffee pot was dirty, and the faucet leaked the whole time
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They were nasty! I hope they found the parking lot?
- Brian (2/5): WORST 3 Star Hotel EVER - This is the WORST 3 star hotel we've EVER stayed at. I wouldn't give them 1 Star. Let me list all the issues and you'll see why. No entry light upon opening the door. Someone stole it and the cleaning crew was too lazy to replace it. We had to pull out a flashlight to get into the room to find another light. Desk chair, on the top the material was disintegrating, it was that old. You wouldn't want to put ANYTHING on this chair or it would stick to it. We turned the refrigerator up to MAX, the next morning it was barely cold and all our ice packs were thawed out. the tub/jacuzzi was dead....no power, so it could only be used as a tub. So, my wife decided to shower. The shower head was incorrectly installed, so there was no way to point the head to the middle of the shower. Most of the water just hit the wall. There was barely enough shampoo for one person, so I get what little was left over. Getting out of the shower, she attempted to dry herself on the "bath towels" they provided. I have hand towels that are larger then this hotel's bath towels. My wife weights 120 lbs and it took 3 towels to dry her.
- Jane (4/5): Would not recommend - Lighting was bad in room. No TV remote in room. They put us a block away from the office (next street over from rest of hotel) and when we called to ask about the remote, she said we could come to the office to get one. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work
- Deborah (10/5): - Very clean rooms. Quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Even our dog enjoyed the stay. We had a really late night check in and the owner stayed up just for us. Thank you
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owners were helpful & polite. Rooms were clean.
- Mike (2/5): - The hotel was in a good location for the casino but they have no respect for peo pl le sleeping. Someone next to us was up all night listening to music and the front desk wouldnt help us at all.
- Katherine (2/5): Dump - Bedspread had cigarette holes in we were told that the nice room's were for the workers at the plant we were put in a very dimly lit area of the hotel on the back side that looks like a slum
- Wendy (6/5): Barely ok - Only 1 bath towel in room. Coffee pot had not been cleaned. Breakfast was not good. Very little to choose from and cereal was stale. Coffee pot was empty before we could get a 2nd cup and no one there to make it.
- Crissy (6/5): - Staff was extremely friendly but the beds were so hard! The bed was too hard with super fluffy pillows that didn’t make a good combination
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Older facility but seemed to be well-maintained and was very clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - it was clean but i didnt like the noise from the road
- Elisa (8/5): Clean rooms but no coffee continental breakfast wa - Pros: room was nice and clean and they had a little living room and it was spacious. The price was good for what I got.
Cons: The continental breakfast was a joke. I was waiting to get coffee because there was only enough coffee for a small mini cup maybe 15 sips and then I was done. I kept ringing the bell so that I could get coffee but nobody answered. I rang it for 10 minutes on and off and still nobody answered- that really pissed me off because I then had to go and buy my own coffee, but the reason why I chose this hotel was because of the continental breakfast and coffee. The breakfast was bear to none. This may not seem like a big deal to a lot of readers but this is my whole point: the reason why I will choose one place over another is because if they offer a variety of stuff for breakfast and they have coffee that starts my day off better I’ll even pay extra for a hotel if know they Go the extra mile and just greet the guests and chat with them a little bit during a limited breakfast hours. Maybe it’s because I’m from Las Vegas Nevada and I know what real service is all about. Overall this day was pleasant. If you’re reading this people that this hotel please answer the bell when Irene please answe go the extra mile and just greet the guests and chat with them a little bit during the limited breakfast hours. Maybe it’s because I’m from Las Vegas Nevada and I know what real service is all about.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is very nice and clean, service and people were Very nice, nothing to complain about
- Christine (8/5): - I was surprised to get a suite. It was older but very beautiful and comfortable and quite!
- DARYL L. (4/5): Pooe location for the Budget Inn. - The location of the budget Inn was near the highway and a railroad which increased the level of noise along with the location of the room which was near the bar and grill and the patrons kept up the noise level until the wee hours of the morning making it difficult to sleep.
- Jay (6/5): Just decent for a quick sleep - I think they are still renovating this place. The room was alright. Pillows smelled. At least I didn't feel like I had to keep all my clothes on to sleep in the bed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The woman night manager was friendly and efficient. Room was clean.
- Th (8/5): - Great price clean room. Quiet. Bed was good. Air conditioner was awesome it was like the north pole.will stay again.
- Richard D (4/5): - WFII is very weak. Internet is not enough fast
Damnnit!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was large and clean with a big jacuzzi type tub. I had problems with the wifi disconnecting, but that may have been due to my laptop. The price was good and the management was very friendly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There were a number of spiders all throughout the room. Furniture was dirt and carpet is stained. When I entered the room the A/C unit was off, the room was HOT (is an understatement), so the A/C unit never did catch up. In fact the A/C unit froze up while trying to cool the room and quite working. Do not pay more for a "Jacuzzi upgrade" you will be disappointed as it does not work. I was given the room as a "free upgrade" though it was still a disappointment.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place to stop for a night. - Good place to just stop for a night. Clean rooms.
- Heather (6/5): Great value, clean, TV and wi-fi barely usable - We stayed at this motel for its value. It was clean and I felt safe. It is an older building with newer interior. The downsides were that the wi-fi was very spotty and would only work for a few minutes at a time. The TV satellite was the same: work for 5 minutes, then re-boot for 10 minutes. The continental breakfast was pretty slim. My daughter grabbed a muffin, but I didn't see anything that looked good. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. I would stay again if the price was right, and I planned to not use the TV or wi-fi and bought breakfast somewhere else.
- Tarun (6/5): - The place was not quite at all during the night. The air conditioning was making random noises and I could not sleep the night. Completely breakfast was like just muffins and milk.
- Gayle (4/5): - The pictures on the website were not accurate. I only like to stay in hotels which offer white bedding. That is what the picture showed. After getting into our room the sheets were blue and the bed cover was dark green. Does not feel clean to me. The room had a musty smell. Check in was fine, but breakfast was just ok.
- MIchael (8/5): A little old, but definitely clean. - It was good. The people were very nice. It certainly was an older motel and needed some upgrades but it was clean and fairly comfortable. I received a full suite, and the price was about half of other motels in the area. My room had a fridge and microwave. The only inconvenient thing was the TV was in the bedroom instead of the living area where the couch was.
- Bill (6/5): - Nice staff, room clean and comfortable. Like the idea of a couch and extra table to spread out things I needed to. Breakfast left alot to be desired. Left to eat at a local restaurant. Pricing was good as well, but did not make up for the breakfast offerings.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First key card didn't work....only amenities was 4 tiny bars of soap and only 1 wash cloth. No alarm clock or phone. Microwave did not work. would not go there again. And curtains in second room didn't work, hooks were missing. Over all appearance bad. We almost left but were too tired.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was perfect. We just needed somewhere to stay for a night while my sister was competing at a college rodeo
- Verified traveler (4/5): No thanks - Photos of hotel show pool and hot tub but they didnt have one as it had been closed for some time. No elevators to get to upper floors. Staff didnt seem to understand things we discussed. States that rooms are newly remodeled but the ones we saw were very outdated. Cleanliness was not bad.
- Lori (8/5): Decent place to stay - This was the 2nd time I've stayed here. It is an older hotel, but, the room was clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice during check-in and was glad to hear that I was a returning customer. If I had needed anything, I'm sure they would have taken care of it immediately. I am a smoker and appreciate rooms still available where I can smoke. Smoking is not permitted in all rooms, just a select few. It doesn't say on the Hotels.com website that smoking rooms are available, but, you just have to request one in the "Special Requests" area when you are booking the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK for price but could use updates - This hotel was a little more outdated than we generally like but we were tired and the price was decent.
- Lisa (4/5): - Had to stand outside to check-In in the rain because they lobby isn’t open at night.
Room had cob webs in all of the corners.
Shower wouldn’t shut off so it just drips the entire time.
Not a good experience at all!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There is nothing terribly unique about the property. It is an older hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
- Michelle (4/5): - The staff at checkin was helpful and friendly. The room condition was very poor. The beds were clean and the bathroom was mostly clean. The sink leaked into the floor, the trim around the bathroom door and entry door had been destroyed by a dog scratching it. Only one of us braved the shower.
