• BWAU96 (4/5): No microwave in the room/WiFi was slow and unreliable - I've only written one Tripadvisor review ever, and that was before Covid. After eating a cold dinner, I retrieved my long-forgotten password just to write this one. I have mostly focused on my Hilton stays over the last couple years, but started going back to Marriott properties in some places. This will not be one of those places! Had some hibachi leftovers for lunch that I planned to have for dinner. Only problem--no microwave to reheat it?! Was there a shared microwave in the lobby? Don't know, don't care--if I wanted to do that I'd book a room at a Motel 6 or a Baymont. In 11+ years of spending about 90-100 nights/year in hotels, I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've stayed in a Courtyard room that didn't have a microwave--and it will be the last! I will now check for that amenity EVERY time I consider a Courtyard location in the future. Unless I'm desperate for dinner, I have mostly avoided Courtyard Bistro's over the years because they are usually dull, dead and the food options are focused more on trendy than substance. Courtyard owners need to spend some nights in a Hilton Garden Inn and take some notes!! It REALLY says something about Courtyard's business strategy when, instead of trying to do the Bistro better, they would rather just take the shortcut of removing the microwave to force you to consider spending another $20-$40 on property for options that are mostly on par with entrees you can get on the frozen aisle of a grocery store. The other, more minor issue was the WiFi. The connection speed was among the slowest I have seen in a while, and it disconnected several times. Each time, I get disconnected from my company's VPN and have to login again. Probably 90% of the Fairfield and Hampton properties I've stayed in had better speed and more reliable connectivity than what I experienced here. All that said, I went with a 2 rating instead of a 1 because the room itself was solid and on par with most Courtyards I have visited. Bottom line: if you're ok with eating cold leftovers and don't need internet access, you'll be fine. If you have online work to do and you don't want to have to leave the property or order delivery for dinner, there are better options nearby.

• Tom (8/5): good clean room at a fair price - walked across the street for breakfast at IHOP, the hotel staff was very nice, the room was clean, the price was fair, I would stay there again quite a bit of congestion around the facility, but not as bad as downtown Atlanta, we intentionally stayed 25 miles out of town to avoid congestion, we went to a rodeo in Conyers and a football game in ATl, maybe next time we will move another 5 miles out to get farther away from the congestion, , but that isn't the facility's fault, it was still a good stay

• Hornline (2/5): Stay at a different hotel - We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Conyers from July 4-6, 2025. This hotel is not a good hotel to stay at. We were in our room watching tv and this big bug came out from behind the bedroom door. I don’t know what kind of bug it was but it was about 2 inches long. We called the front desk and all they did was clean up the dead bug and told us we could talk to a supervisor the next day when we checked out. When we checked out their was not a supervisor on duty for us to talk to about the bug situation in our room. We were given a phone number to call so we could talk to someone about the issue we had with our room. As it turned out we were told they could not do anything for us.

My room was missing its remote for tv and I had to go fetch a new one. Very little staff working. Room key did not work when trying to reenter from outside. But room was clean and staff was good.

The poor employee watching the desk did her best in a dangerous situation but she could not handle it and no management was called. There was no follow up made, zero customer service. We traveled for for my daughter’s competition and have never felt so unsafe in my life. Loud people parting, drugs, police involvement. My daughter’s competition was blown because we got zero sleep. I have never felt so unsafe in my life. I was calling my husband and son crying to pick us up. Horrible hotel. 655146679
• Ashley (4/5): Not awful but wont return. - Location of this place was nice and the staff was very kind. my negative review on this place has nothing to do with the staff I encountered because they were helpful and kind. It was cleanish. The facility was not worth the price. The indoor pool was not heated and the temperature in the room was very cold therefore the water was very cold. Pool was the main reason we chose this location but I guess I should've called first to ask if it was heated. It's labeled spa but there was nothing spa related. There was only 2 towels in the king suite and no extra linens for the pull out bed. (the sofa bed was incredibly hard) The wifi was very laggy, Netflix kept loading. No bags in the trash cans. When we woke up the bathroom was covered in ants. COVERED in ants. They could've carried me away. There was no microwave in the room to warm food and the coffee maker was very cheap, you could only use their coffee with it. Not k cups or ground coffee of your picking. The outlets were lose, I used my laptop for charging. House keeping woke us up 3 hours before our check out time and was waiting at the door on us as we walked out. Wont return again due to the price being way too high for the quality of stay. Ill post a small snip of the ant invasion.

The rooms needs to be updated, also your towels are old and needs to be replaced the facility didn't have any extra towels to replace the old hard dry towels. So I went to Walmart to purchase new ones for my stay.

• Nikolas (10/5): - The service was top notch . The systems were down to no fault of their own but these employees were making it work. Outstanding and friendly customer service. The managers were not on site helping but I hope everyone working during these dates gets a bonus. It was so much extra work for them but they shined out! Front desk , employee who worked PM 07/19, the next lady working 07/20 were patient and 19/10 competent . The ladies working at Starbucks were so kind and lady from Pensacola that met us raised the bar for making us feel at home at this hotel. The room was clean, pool was also nice but shallow and small. Fine for younger guys but older kids might get frustrated.
• David (8/5): - This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The few shortcomings were 1.) Our particular rooms did not have a microwave and 2.) The refrigerator was small. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay and would stay here if in the area again.
