I do not recommend staying at this motel as it is very overrated even though I was upgraded it was certainly not an upgrade. It was noisy from the traffic passing, the interior environment is very tired and the kitchen needed a good clean.

- maikha (9/5): A simple motel that works for us. - Location - it's a short drive to attractions and there are supermarkets within walking distance. Very convenient. Spacious - good space for one bedroom unit with a kitchen and dining area. Beds were comfortable, which was a plus since we were tired from travelling the day before. Check in was easy and the gentleman is kind to show us the unit + explain where things are. Nothing.

We booked a studio with a kitchen which had cooking utensils included and teas/coffees. The owner was very friendly at check in as well. Would definitely recommend :)

- Colleen (8/5): Comfortable stay in central Rotorua - The motel is well situated for access to the centre of Rotorua, approximately 10 minutes walk. The studio room was clean and the staff helpful - it was a very hot night and a staff member brought us a fan, without being asked. There is a pool at the motel, but we didn't try it out. Bed was comfortable.

The fact that I felt like I was committing a crime in requesting another roll of toilet paper. On our arrival we reported that a light bulb needed replacing in a dark shower area. We were told that this would be rectified whilst we were out but it was not addressed during our 2 day stay. The swimming pool was dirty - sediment in the bottom.

- Norman (8/5): Our stay at the Rotorua Motel was comfy, relaxed and enjoyable. - We liked the fact that when we learned that our room had a kitchenette with only a microwave and we asked for a hotplate and pots and pans, our host supplied them so that we could cook the meals that we wanted to. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and spa pool. There was nothing we did not like about the Rotorua Motel.

The location was less than a 5 minute drive to the lake. The motel was as shown in the photos - rundown but perfectly functional and great value for money. The bed was firm and comfortable. Parking for you car is off street and out of site. Bathrooms are old and in need of an upgrade but it didn't bother me too much as I only stayed 1 night.

Decently appointed and useful kitchen. Comfortable bed. Fair amount of road noise, but I acclimated pretty quickly. Knives in kitchen were about as sharp as river rocks; a knife sharpener would go a long way.

Bed was comfortable . Outside pool and spa were excellent . Big smart tv Room had no air con , and air tower provided was only a fan not a cooling tower . Had a temperature gauge on it that registered 27 degrees all night . Leading to a very uncomfortable hot sleepless night , sleeping without top sheet / duvet cover ( sewn into one ?? ) . Parking was noisy at night ( loose gravel ) and parking car lights shine into your room . No Sky ( for price maybe understandable ) but could not get ordinary channels on it either . WiFi was too slow to sustain watching streaming channels

- Adrienne (6/5): Es war ok aber nicht für mehrere Nächte - Gut gelegen und bequemes Bett. Es war extrem laut. Die Fenster sind sehr dünn und man hört die Autos sehr laut suf der einen Seite. Auf der anderen Seite haben Leute sehr laut geredet bis in die Nacht und ich konnte nicht schlafen. Die Einfahrt hat eine riesen Dell und riss mir jedesmal am Mietwagen fast die Stossstange weg. Ohne Oropax schlief ich nicht. Das Motel ist ok für eine oder höchstends zwei Nächte.

Location is close to supermarkets/town. As a mum with a toddler, I felt very safe here. If you're wanting new and flash then this isn't the place for you. - Freia (8/5): - Wir haben uns leider im Datum vertan, sind einen Tag zu früh angereist. Es war überhaupt kein Problem uns kurzerhand ein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen - vielen Dank dafür. Es war ein prima Aufenthalt.

- Lorinda (8/5): Convenient for one night stay - The staff were amazing. The pool and spa were nice too.
- Olivier (9/5): Motel à l’ambiance familiale proche du centre - L’accueil charmant et la disponibilité de la propriétaire des lieux, le confort de la chambre, la présence d’une piscine extérieure chauffée ainsi que d’un jacuzzi. La situation du motel le long d’une rue assez passante le matin mais situation peu gênante car le traffic est orienté côté salle de bains.
