- Barney G. (10/5): Pleasant stay with a local atmosphere - I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Icis Villas. The units were clean and comfortable, and overall the property had a welcoming and local feel. Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. As the the stay was in February, the night breeze was cool enough to leave off the air-conditioning. I was able to eat some guavas straight off the tree next to our staircase! The property is far enough away from the capital to ensure peaceful surroundings, but for the same reason a rental car is recommended if you plan to move around the island frequently.

- Justin (6/5): - Keeping in mind it is only a couple years since Irma, this place could still use a little love. It has all the makings of an amazing location and ambience, but seems to be lacking any real passion to make it great. The staff was ok, and our room and the pool were relatively clean. There are no other real food options close by and we waited too long for a subpar meal, which was way overpriced. We left too early to "enjoy" the complimentary breakfast. We woke up to NO WATER in our room (and most of the property) and a staff that was clueless as to why and what to do about it. The grounds are beautiful and the infrastructure is there to make it better...just needs quite a bit more effort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place that is very isolated and quiet. Just a very short walk to one of the nicest beaches on Tortola. On days when there are no cruise ships it's one of the most peaceful places I've been.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was lovely and secluded. It felt like a personal tropical paradise. The property had beautiful mature plantings and a nice pool. On-premise dinner was excellent (remember to reserve your spot ahead of time) and the in-room kitchen was handy for nights you wanted to keep it low key / fend for yourself. The staff was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. The beach is a quick walk away and has a beach bar for drinks and lunch / snacks. Also loved the resort cats. Having them welcome you back after a trip to the beach made it feel like home.
- Craig (10/5): - A very pleasant and relaxing stay in this secluded tropical Paradise. The staff were among the nicest people I've ever met in my life. The plants were gorgeous. Dinner selections are generally just two items but always delicious. For a relaxing, beautiful, secluded getaway I could not more highly recommend.

- Roy (10/5): Best place to stay on Tortola - The room was quiet and comfortable. The people were very friendly. They made us feel right at home. The location was by a beautiful beach great for snorkeling or swimming. For snorkeling check out all parts of the bay. We knew a continental breakfast came with the room but we did not know dinner was available if requested before noon. Dinner was great. The only issue we had was finding the place. Most people take a taxi but we rented a car. There are no street signs on Tortola so we kept asking people for directions. Staying there made is worth being a little lost at first.

If romantic, peaceful experience, this is the bomb. They are going thru remodel from hurricane. Understanding ahead of time might provide some compassion. They were extremely accommodating.

- Lynn (10/5): - Stayed there from the 3/15-3/17/19. Loved the fact that it was away from everything. Across the street from the beach. Staff was friendly and courteous, especially Sandra, very humble and helpful. Only thing was, couldn't access wifi from room, had to go downstairs. Wasn't an issue this time, because I went for rest and relaxation anyway. I would definitely stay there again.

The spacious grounds are full of flowers and fruit plants and staff member Beverly gave me a tour of the gardens. They just refilled the beautiful pool as we were leaving, and charming Brewer's Bay and it's gorgeous beach is a short walk down the road. Our room was pleasant and the AC was quiet and worked well.
- Kevin (10/5): Romantic stay in Brewer's Bay - Icis Villas is a hidden gem in Brewer's Bay. It is very secluded and the immediate area (1 mile) offers very few restaurant options. If you want your own personal beach, this is the place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I had a very pleasant sleep the night of February 22, 2019. No real breakfast (coffee yes), limited dinner, but the location to me was ideal.
- sylvia (8/5): - The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very nice. But for the price per night of $200.+ you expect everything to be in working order or else discount the price. Example: Pool not operational; satellite signal not available in the room; A/C not working and not much hot water.
- elizabeth (10/5): - Still rebuilding from Hurricane Irma and only partially open. Our room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. We were treated like family by the owner and staff. Short walk to the beach at Brewers Bay for good swimming with a funky little beach bar.
- Dawn-Marie (10/5): - The staff were super friendly, recommendations for restaurants were great, got a room upgrade for no additional cost, easy walking distance to quiet secluded Brewers Bay white sand swimming beach and the local beach bar in Brewer's Bay, and flexible continental breakfast times. I even got a private tour of the gardens and took lots of photos! Lovely, quiet tropical setting. Something special for sure.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - staff was excellent. property was nice. however, there was not a restaurant and the property is too far from town. $60 taxi round trip just to get a bite to eat. beach bar is close but no food there either. rent a car if you use this facility.
- T (6/5): - Obviously, the whole island is still recovering from the hurricanes of 2017. This property included. This is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. And if you are a beach person there is a wonderful sandy beach a short walk away down the driveway. The wifi was strong and worked well. So, now the negatives: We stayed on a Friday evening, breakfast wasn't served until 8:15 am Saturday morning. That is not good at all if you desire to eat and leave early. The all-in-one kitchen did not work. The sink functioned, but the fridge and cooktop did not function. I don't care about TV, but for those that do, it didn't work either. The pool was being renovated and was not open for use. Too bad, or we would have used it. The office area was a little difficult to find when we arrived to check-in. A sign would have been nice. All parking is in the grass. Again, a sign to that affect would have been helpful. Our stay was in mid January 2019. I hope they continue to improve the property. The landscape was very nice with lots of tropical foilage. Overall I felt very safe there, but it was a little too pricey for so many things not working.
- Jon (8/5): The hidden gem that is Isis Villas. - The Isis Villas in Brewers Bay, Tortola BVI is a real hidden gem. Tucked into a lush valley surrounded by gardens and fruit trees. Family owned and operated the service was stellar. Unfortunately they are still rebuilding from hurricane damage, once that work is complete, it will be a five star stay for sure.

- BJ (4/5): Lack of pride and effective communication - Sad to be unable to get accurate instructions to the property then to have an unclean and ant ridden room. Staff was nice but couldn't effectively communicate.
- Michael (2/5): - I would not stay here again. Food was below average. Service was on island time. Wifi service did not work properly. Hair dryer in room did not work. Balcony was not usable as it had two inches of rain water sitting. It did not drain. Breakfast was poor. We asked that a cracked coffee pot be replaced. It never was. The bottom line is that they just did not care.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Very helpful staff - Isolated villa in Tortola. Challenging drive from the airport. Malcolm drove out to meet us half way and we followed him in. Our first set of rooms had plumbing issues so we moved that same night. Simple breakfast. The most helpful staff ever!

It was a quiet, secluded location with Brewers Bay beach within walking distance and the festive, active Sugar Cane Bay in the next cove (with an adventurous mountain road between). The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Icis is tucked into the corner just off of the western side of the bay, a short, flat walk onto the beach. We could spend time on the beach, swim and then return to enjoy the pool. Eat dinner in th restaurant or cook in your room. Kitchen is sparsely furnished but enough to do whatever you need to get the job done. Comfortable temp with fan. Never had to use the ac.

Grounds could be beautiful but need alot of attention. Food was below average. Pool needs to be resurfaced and cleaned. Very out of the way and if you do not have a car you are not going anywhere as taxis are expensive.

The room was fine with no problems. The people were great. Frankly it would be worth going there just for the food...no lunches but good breakfasts and great dinners.
- Vikki (10/5): Pleasant island experience - We had a night to kill and wanted to visit Brewers Bay. This Hotel was close right in front of it. It had an island home feel not luxury but almost homey. We where up graded to a house 3 bedrooms it was off by itself. We loved it the porch was a great place to spend our time and they made us lunch and dinner. For an extra cost with a honor bar and breakfest was included I would go back there every time I was on Tortola.

- Shawn (8/5): My full moon experience! - Checking in was a breeze, easy and convienent. The room suited my needs and was up to par! The pool however was in need of love, however, we had no use of the pool for that day. It does need a good cleaning no matter what! Ultimately, I could not have been more pleased with my stay and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you.
