Jérémy (6/5): - Facile d'accès, chambre correct dans l'ensemble, salle de bain a revoir niveau propreté, toilette avec traces de calcaire, la télévision ne fonctionnait pas correctement. Forte odeur de cigarette à l'étage en sortant de l'ascenseur, pourtant indiqué non fumeur partout. Le coin petit déjeuner est très bien , beaucoup de choix. le personnel est accueillant.

Pas de cafetière dans la chambre Pas de balayette pour nettoyer la cuvette des toilettes Problème de tête de lit décalée par rapport à l'oreiller Accès à la douche avec une hauteur de baignoire importante. Il faudrait prévoir pour les personnes d'un certain âge des douches à l'italienne. Petit-déjeuner sans problème

Clement (4/5): Visite en semaine pour le travail - La chambre est propre mais la chambre qui ma été proposée est différente de celle reservee sir le site en raison d’yne fuite d’eau, resultat un lit simple au loeu d’un lit double. La télévision toute petite, par comparaison avecd’autre ibis style celui ci est largement en dessous

Simon (8/5): A good value and convenient stopover - Very handy and good value spot for a stopover on the way to or from Calais. Loads of great restaurants next door and many offer 10% discount if you show your room key card. A good free breakfast is included 6-10AM and nice enough (if a little dated) rooms for one night many with a bath. I had a big suite which was very spacious. Nice and warm in the room and very comfy beds and bedding. They look to be installing several fast EV charging points in the car park too which is great.

Bruce (4/5): Décevant - Hotel pas du tout à la hauteur de ce que j'ai l'habitude de voir pour un établissement 3 étoiles et de la game IBIS Style... Système de chauffage Hors service donc entrée dans une chambre glacée. Après demande à la réception, il m'a été fourni un petit chauffage d'appoint...étonnant Ensuite je suis resté 3 nuits et à aucun moment ma chambre a été nettoyée/rangée. C'est la première fois que cela m'arrive. Enfin, lors du petit déjeuner il a manqué de charcuterie pendant un long moment sans que la personne en charge du PDJ ne change de rythme de travail pour combler les manques. Bref une expérience que je ne renouvellerai pas lors d'un prochain déplacement à Béthune Cordialement Bruce MAURICE

philippe (6/5): - Un Ibis reconditionné en Ibis Style mais avec des finitions peu enthousiasmantes. Je pense avoir séjourné dans des Ibis classiques mieux tenus. Literie cependant confortable. Disons que pour un court séjour, ça fait le job mais ne vous attendez pas à un miracle. Même impression pour le petit déjeuner. Succinct, des Ibis standart offrent plus de diversité.

Kate (8/5): Met our needs for a decent overnight stop - Good basic stay on a drive down to the East of France from Calais. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. It was quiet and we slept well. Nice to have a bath in the end suite bathroom (but no bath towels!) The decoration was pleasant but the views of the bins and the wall of the next door building made the room feel quite functional. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was excellent. Service at check in and at the bar was polite but staff seemed very slow/confused and a large queue built up at check-in. There are large decorative wall panels over the heads of the beds which made it uncomfortable to sit up in bed without worrying about hitting your head.
Jennie (2/5): - Stayed there a week ago on our way to Spain & my husband booked through Accor. Room was a good size for us and our dog and was clean and bright. Rebooked last night as decided to stop over on our way home. Booked a room with two singles and received a tiny double room on ground floor which smelt dusty and smelt. The carpet was full of stains. AC doesn’t exist and room very hot. Woken at about 2am by light and noise as staff in bowling alley next door opening double doors which lead to their kitchen/store room opposite our room window . Nightmare experience with no sleep.Very disappointed

Allan (10/5): Our preferred hotel in the area - Stayed before - Bethune is ideal for the tunnel for us - and price, security and availability of diners within walking distance are the deciding factors. Very easy to get to and from on the Peage too.

Five mins off the motorway, several places to eat within walking distance or 10 mins drive into Bethune - try to O Grand Buffet for a great value, good quality feast. Also great buffet breakfast at hotel.

I enjoyed it and I will be back. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, with enough space not to feel crowded. The breakfast was nice (continental). It's kid-friendly. Plenty of food options a short walk away. A lovely place overall.

richard (4/5): Air con deliberately decommisioned - Used this hotel several times as a one night stop over. This time however, we arrived to find the air conditioning not working. Having quized the staff as to why we were expected to sleep in a room with no air con at over 30 degrees C we discovered that the system had not been working for a whole month. The truth is of course that the system had been switched off at the expense the comfort of the guests and to improve the coffers of the Accor Group. Outrageous

Jay (8/5): Great pit stop - AC was awful. Could not adjust it and it was noisy. Apart from that, it was fine and we will use it again but ask for a AC to be better, or at least less noisy.
Keith (6/5): Disappointing - Not as pleasant as previous stays. Location is convenient. Idiotic headboard, television had about 1 in 10 channels working. Overall very tired. Breakfast not as adequate as it used to be. No where near as good as Ibis Styles Troyes or Reims.

Arthur (4/5): Worst Ibis stay encountered - On arrival we were allocated a twin room but a double was booked. We were moved immediately. The double room did not have working Air con. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was a joke!!! Only cereal was coco pops, other than children who likes these? Had to order bread roll or Croissant evening before, not knowing what was for breakfast. Only cheese and yoghurt, plus jam. Orange juice was nice plus tea and coffee.

Marcus (6/5): OK - We have stayed at this hotel several times before as it is convenient for the motorway and there is a good selection of places to eat. My husband also likes the hotel because the bar is open and after a long journey he appreciates a beer. However, I find the bar area extremely uncomfortable and in need of a make over. The room could also do with a refurbishment but is quite adequate for one night. Usually the room and the ensuite are clean but this time I was disappointed to find the ceiling mouldy and also mould on the floor of the shower. The price of the hotel includes breakfast and has a adequate selection.

NRA (6/5): Poor Value - Compared with the Standard Ibis at Chartres, this Ibis Styles did not live up to expectation. The first room allocate smelt of drains but a room change overcame this. The room was limited in size compared to Chartres despite the change per night being over €20 more. The breakfast inclusive was below the Chartres standard. Overall this was a disappointing experience.

Breakfast is typical continental style and plentiful

Hils (8/5): Great stopover - Good chain hotel for an overnighter on the way down France. Bed comfortable, shower good, loads of (continental)choice at breakfast, easy to find from autoroute. Bathroom ventilation maybe not the best, a touch of mildew here & there (come on chaps, a quick squirt of mould killer and I wouldn't have a thing to criticise!) but otherwise very clean amd I'd definitely use it again when the price is right.

No hand soap by the bathroom sink on either of the two days we spent there. And the a/c was poor. It was located quite close to a number of restaurants, and cinema.

Only issue was lack of gluten free bread at breakfast despite hotel offer to supply. Will stay again and would recommend for an overnight or two night stay just one hour from Calais.

Marcus (8/5): A convenient hotel - This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel although we have stayed at other hotels in the chain. The hotel was ideally situated just off the motorway and was easy to find. The room was small but adequate and importantly nice and clean. Strangely, the plug to the basin was missing, this is the 2nd hotel this trip to have a missing plug. There is a large choice of restaurants very close to the hotel. We went to the Italian and had a very pleasant meal. The hotel deal included breakfast and it was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and a reasonable choice of food. Please note it is a continental breakfast not a full English. The receptionist was helful and my husband was very pleased to find the bar open. We will use this hotel again.
Carol (8/5): Good value for money - Perfectly adequate room for a two night stay, although the shower holder on the bar was so loose that it just fell to the bottom of the bar, meaning that to shower we had to hold the shower head above our heads. I found the bed somewhat soft, resulting in the necessity to take Ibuprofen to ease my backache each morning. Breakfast on the first morning was very good, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, pain au chocolat amongst other pastries, and several different kinds of bread. However, on the second morning the cereals were still in evidence along with the yoghurt, but there was a distinct lack of fruit, although this was remedied when we mentioned it, little in the way of cheese, but the only bread left was about a third of a baguette - no more was forthcoming - and a couple of tired looking pastries. Disappointing for us, and I'm not sure what anyone coming down for breakfast after us would have eaten. The area is fairly industrial, but with a 12 screen cinema and a large bowling alley on the complex, there is a wide range of restaurants in very close proximity to the hotel. We would really recommend the Italian restaurant where we had a superb meal at a reasonable price in very nice surroundings. All in all I would say that the hotel offers good value for money, the staff were very helpful and, although there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, the 24 hour tea and coffee available in reception was very good.
Tracy (8/5): Did the job - This was just an overnight stay before catching Le Shuttle home and it suited that purpose just fine. Staff were lovely. Hotel and room were great, except that the extractor fan in our room didn't work, but we were probably just unlucky. I have no doubt the staff would have happily moved us if we had mentioned it, but we were too tired to move!

Dennis (8/5): Great location - Looked for a lower cost hotel close / central to World War I sites. This place fit the bill. For a Canadian, this hotel is between the Vimy Memorial and Ypres / Paschendaele. The location is also close to great restaurants (I personally loved eating at the micro brewery / restaurant two doors down - great food at great prices. Oh, and REALLY good beer) and even shopping. The hitless staff always had smiles and were willing to help with questions. Comfortable, clean and safe - who needs more from a discount hotel chain? Loved this place.

On a retail park but several good restaurants within walking distance. Ibis Styles hotels have carpeted bedrooms as opposed to hardwood flooring in regular ibis. Carpet them all please ibis! I'll stay at this hotel again.
M (6/5): Comfortable hotel - Good place to stay on way to car ferry. No map so difficult to find. Road not on our Sat Nav. A long way from Bethune. Comfortable, clean with secure parking in front of hotel. Would stay again.

joe (8/5): Could be excellent if - Could be excellent if the wi-fi in the room was decent. Unfortunately is very week. Breakfast is included in the price but the buffet is only sugars, the breakfast area is small and if you clash with a big group of students you have no chance. Everything else is very good indeed.
