• Maria Cecilia (10/5): - La ubicacion privilegiada (a metros de todo los edificios turisticos y mejores comercios), un hotel con estructura antigua , colonial, pero reciclado y con todas las comodidades de lo moderno. Tiene ascensor para acceder a las habitaciones y buenos y necesarios aires acondicionados. El personal siempre amable, dispuesto a ayudar. El desayuno es super completo, frutas de todo tipo(hasta granadilla y fruto del dragon, entre otras), huevos , yogures, pan de zanahoria como novedad, integrales con semillas, fiambre, delicioso cafe. Sin duda, lo recomendamos, vale la pena lo que sale, lo volveria a elegir. La calle es un poco ruidosa, pero es parte del encanto de Cartagena. A la hora de dormir, se silencia bastante y no es un problema. Mas aun en la premium, q esta en el 5to. Piso.

• M7641SIanneg (10/5): Amazing experience at the Delirio Hotel - The Delirio Hotel delivered above our expectations. Firstly, the staff created the first impression of friendliness, and were ready to help with any questions we had. A special mention to the kitchen staff, who were always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, cereal, fresh juices, eggs, omelettes, and croissants. Our room was clean and our little balcony provided us with a magical view of the world passing by beneath us, while we sipped a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. The bed was comfortable and the shower amazing. The location within the walled city is perfect, and attractions and restaurants are all easily walkable.

Las instalaciones les falta un repaso…el precio no está ajustado al mantenimiento de las habitaciones, el cristal de la ducha de nuestra habitación no cerraba y el agua se salía, se lo comentamos al chico de recepción. Creo que para el precio deberían de tenerlo mejor cuidado.

• Alejandra (9/5): Un hotel con dos secretos: una colección fotográfica y una cocinera increíble - Buenísima ubicación al lado de la librería Ábaco y la Nacional. Muy tranquilo, con cafés al lado, restaurantes. Y con un gran gran plus: 20 fotografías gigantes en blanco y negro del gran fotógrafo colombiano Hernán Díaz quien fotografió como pocos a Cartagena. De lujo la cocinera y su desayuno hecho fresquito y con mucho amor. En los cuartos se empieza a notar el paso del tiempo y la falta de mantenimiento: cajones que no encajan, puertas que no cierran, pintura que se cae. Ojo con los detalles.

El aire acondicionado funcionaba estupendamente y eso en Cartagena en esencial. El hotel está bien, aunque una manita de pintura no le vendría mal en la habitación y una mejor iluminación en el baño. El desayuno honestamente era muy limitado para ser buffet.

• Road37618877115 (10/5): Great Hotel & Friendly Staff! - The location of the hotel is amazing if visiting Cartagena. Very walkable to all local tourist spots we wanted to visit! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, I don’t know Spanish very well and thankfully a couple of the staff knew some English well to translate. The room is a bit on the small side, but that’s because we chose the one with the terrace view. Otherwise A/C worked great for the hot temps, and we had no issues staying here! Breakfast was simple, and met our needs for the 5 nights we stayed here. Would 100% recommend to a friend for the price and location!

All things considered it was good value for the price. My room had a small balcony overlooking the street which I enjoyed very much. The room did not have a kettle or cups to make a cup of tea.

Unfortunately we were not warned of INSANE construction going on. The beautiful courtyard with pool does not exist - it’s full of scaffolding . Hammering & drilling at all hours until 7:30pm! We had to call the front desk daily to ask them to stop drilling in our wall, they would stop when we called but continued each day. Otherwise would be a great budget stay with pretty balcony view .

Everything seemed close, the action was so easily accessible, restaurants etc etc. I am recommending Delirio, 4 star facility, 5 star service, location and breakfast.

Many reviews compliment the location and I would go so far as to say, perfect. The other 5 star piece is the staff and breakfast. Beautiful people, fabulous food and a great way to start your day! 4 star is the room and facility. I would choose to stay here again and again.

The kitchen staff was outstanding, they went far beyond offering us all kinds of choices from typical arepa de huevo , to omelets with all sorts of breads and bakery . We loved everything
• Diem (2/5): - This is the most unclean and cheap looking room I’ve ever stayed in. Not worth $160 a night. The room, shower, sink is very poor quality and with grime and rust. Cheap chipping paint. The floors and room emanate every single sound from the outside so we couldn’t sleep. There is no balcony or view. They only show you the best rooms in their photos. The stairs don’t even have hand rails which is so dangerous when walking down (I’m 6 mo. pregnant). The WiFi constantly went out so i ended up using a lot of data on my phone without realizing it. The concierge have a poor attitude about working. Look at you crazy if you ask them a simple question (we speak fluent Colombian Spanish). Won’t refill the waters in the lobby (pitcher always empty) and never brought us the juice they promised during check-In. Even when I asked for it he pitched be filled so I could have a glass of water, they didn’t want to. Even in the daytime, they’re not at their desk to buzz us in at the door. My goodness, we’ve stayed at many beautiful hotels in Cartagena for much less and better hospitality. This place was such a scam. The only exception was the nice gentleman that served us our eggs in the morning who was the only hospitable person.

• Peter (10/5): Excellent and will be back again and again - Seriously from the moment we walked through the door two beautiful ladies dressed elegantly in white with the most beautiful sincere smile were there to welcome us and check us in. All the staff were amazing with us. Breakfast was awesome and quality. Rooms were very clean and internet. Hot shower with pressure and the lovely fragrant quality body soap and shampoo/conditioner. Great working A/C. Note: we were invited by staff to use the pool and spa at their sister motel (very nice facilities) as well no charge. Super secure. The location is fabulous and of course there is a little street noise as you are in the heart of the old city and would be no different to any other place in proximity. From the balcony we could watch the people interact …horse carriages pass by etc which was so nice. I hate writing reviews but this places was certainly deserving of my time and want to encourage others wanting a sincere opinion as we also review ed when choosing this place. Great value 👍 Nothing

The room was very small with a tiny sink in the bedroom not in the bathroom. The bed creaked when you moved and it was a bit too firm.

We were put in a room that had an overpowering ammonia smell. I thought it was cleaning solution. Turned out it was mold. Parts of the bathroom were not only shoddily constructed but were black with mold. Beyond gross. I couldn’t understand all the good reviews. After one night of this we were moved into a smaller but mold free room on a higher floor. Then it was a whole different experience and worthy of good reviews.

I'm very happy we stayed here for our last night in Colombia. Alexa Jimenez recommended my family go to Vadana for food and it was one of the best experiences I've had in my life! The food was amazing and the waiter was a joy. I hope to come back someday

• Michael (8/5): Ok but could be better - This could be a super boutique hotel & is in an excellent location but it's a little tired and is in need of some TLC. The windows in the room were in a poor state, the bathroom window was missing it's handle so was always open, the bedroom window had a handle but was very difficult to close because the window frame was bent.. not a major problem in terms of safety given we were on the 5th floor but does mean the air-con never really works properly. The electronic keys for the bedroom sometimes took many attempts to unlock the door & despite changing the keys 3 times things never really improved. Breakfast was good, the pancakes were soft and fluffy and the arepa stuffed with egg was good too. It was just a little unusual that despite being told breakfast ran until 10, that we essentially found the breakfast area closed at 9:30... they were good enough to reopen and make some more of the delicious pancakes though!

Walls were thin as I could hear neighbors talking next door late into the night. The staff was nice and helpful. Great being in the old town, but also too much hawking for my liking. As soon as you left the lobby there was someone yelling at you and trying to get something from you.

But even more important was the gracious staff. Especially Alexa who happily took care of all my needs. If I ever return to beautiful Cartagena I would absolutely stay here and highly recommend to friends. Make sure to meet Alexa!

The breakfast is delicious and fresh each morning! The AC works well. Great view on the balcony. Bed was comfortable.

• A9951RZrebeccav (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel - In April, I attended my Nieces wedding. I had booked another hotel, but it ended up not being anywhere close to the festivities. I called on the same night I was staying and the Delirio was able to accommodate my needs. This is a charming boutique hotel close to the center of Cartagena. My queen size bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot and cold water for my showers. The complimentary breakfast provided a selection of hot food made to order, a selection of fruit, cheese, freshly created juices and other beverages. I loved the pancakes they made me, delicious and light served with real syrup. Try a Granadilla. The staff would allow me to take a few with me for later in the afternoon. Refreshing. Across the street from the hotel (heading to your left) several doors down, I discovered a restaurant on my first night. I had the BEST Salmon Dinner ever in my short 59 years on this planet! The staff at the hotel were warm and friendly. At the end of my stay, they were attempting to teach me Spanish. One of the Starbucks in Cartagena is literally less than a few blocks up the street from this stunning hotel. The price per night was reasonable and the convenient location to everything my niece had planned for the 5 days. Each day, it was like walking home and being greeted like family. I highly recommend this hotel!

• Marijn (9/5): Pleasant stay with the friendliest staff - Great location. Super friendly staff! Little balcony to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. The rooms are not very big which is ok but would like to see a more competitive price for that.
