Toll, dass beim Abendessen alles - bis auf den Salat - serviert wird. Nachmittagsjause sehr reichhaltig, da braucht man im Skigebiet eigentlich gar nix konsumieren :) Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet (wobei das wirklich auf das gesamte Hotel zutrifft), sehr sauber. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wäre toll, wenn man vom Saunabereich ins Freie könnte bzw es dort ein Schwimmbecken geben würde. Wir haben den Ruheraum nicht gleich gefunden, vielleicht könnte man den besser anschreiben bzw wäre es feiner, wenn man hierfür nicht durch Stiegenhaus müsste. Aber das ist wirklich summsen auf sehr hohem Niveau!!

Maar gelukkig voelde het niet formeel maar juist heel vriendelijk. Wellness had helaas geen uitzicht naar buiten op de prachtige bergen.

Dinner was a bust. I waited a long time for my main course and when it came, it was the wrong thing, then it was too late to eat so I went to bed hungry. (can’t eat after 8 PM🙄💔)

Breakfast is buffet, then between 3pm and 5pm, there is a plentiful snack buffet in the lobby, then dinner service from 7pm to 9pm. Staff is attentive and friendly. One massage room is available, and while the service is good, wish this area had more services available. However, there is a Finnish sauna, steam room, pool, and other spa amenities to help recover from skiing.

- Amanda (10/5): Lovely stay at a fantastic hotel - This is a wonderful hotel. It is close to the ski lifts and you can ski back to within a short walk of the hotel. All members of staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was great, with a large selection to choose from. Dinner was excellent, with all dishes cooked to a high standard and presented beautifully. The spa and pool area were great to relax in after a day of skiing. The ski and boot room are on site and ski passes can be purchased at reception. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing

- Robert (7/5): Good value for money comfortable hotel stay, but the food let it down! - The hotel is well located and the room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable (although they had no real double beds, just twins joined together). It had great views of the mountains and a large luxury bathroom with a high-pressure shower. We requested a balcony room three months before arrival, but were given a standard room, which was okay but a bit disappointing. They offered us a room change three days in to our holiday, but we decided to decline. The hotel staff are all friendly and welcoming as were the valet parking and restaurant team. The hotel is about two minuets walk to ski lift and has great access to the slopes. It has a modern bar and a stunning wooden design restaurant. The spa was nice, but small and very busy (closed way to early 7pm) and at times packed with and not managed well. We ended up going across to the road to their sister hotel which had a far better adults only Spa area. The food was plentiful and service was good, but overall it required improvement (read below). We found the price was reasonable, but not without a few gripes (see below). There was no room service or breakfast in bed, no mini bar in room, limited reception times (Closed during the night), they charge for tap water at dinner, no complimentry drinks in spa, spa opening times were limited to 7pm (their busiest time, a crazy time to shut the spa) adult spa was in the basement with no windows. At one point there was 35x people in the small swimming pool with kids bombing in from the sides, with no supervision or management. Ski room and boot room were on different levels meaning you have to walk up stairs with ski boots on (not ideal). There is no lounge!! The reception area is also the lounge with limited high seats and low bench seats (no sofa's and limited space to relax). Most of the ground floor is restaurant space and the limited seating around the bar is always overloaded in the evening. We went out to other hotels where there more space.. Parking has limited times and closes around 10pm so you cannot get your car in or out till the next morning as the parking area is under hotel and not accessable to guests. Conceirge was not available or limited at this hotel and there were very few English TV channels in the room. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest let down. The salads were great, the bread selection and quality was very good and breakfast buffet had an excellent selection. We also enjoied the cheese board and afternoon snacks which was a nice touch, but the 5-course menu was a big disappointment... On day one we were promised lamb shank on the bone (a hearty portion), but instead we were served three tiny slivers of overcooked lamb rump. Chocolate lava cake was over cooked and had no lava! A starter was a combination of the day before roast beef main course, sliced and served cold with potato salad taken directly from the buffet!! Sauces were made from powdered stocks and gravy powder and not from real stocks. Food was not cooked to order and was not freshly cooked!! Main course was a buffet (but served from the kitchen), hot held in Bain maries. Risotto was so over cooked on night it had turned to mush and was clearly cooked hours before we sat down to eat. Protein (meat and fish portions) were also tiny and wrongly described on the menu. Most meat portions were less than 100g!! A normal portion of meat or fish should be 160-220g !! Over all it was just disappointing. Our friends stayed at the Crystal Vaya and it was way ahead with food all cooked to order! We stayed at the Bergland in Solden and it too was well ahead and all cooked freshly to order. We felt this area was most lacking for a 4 star superior hotel.

Half board was perfect here because the breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and there's a snack buffet half way through the day which is perfect timing when you've been on the slopes all morning. The room was great, enough storage which i sometimes find a problem with in other hotels, a nice big balcony and comfortable beds. One side of the hotel faces out to a ski slope and the views are stunning to wake up to. The hotel is situated close to everything, 5 min walk to the nearest gondola, 10 min walk to the bus stop for other ski areas. The spa was great to hang out in after a long day of skiing. I wouldn't book anywhere else! nothing at all! Amazing hotel and staff!

Food was absolutely lovely, with loads of choice and catering for all diets The staff were all wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A big shout out to Andras - he was the best! A great team of lovely people. The staff over the road at the Josl were fab too.

- Chris (4/5): Too hot, no frills, expensive. good charming staff. - Breakfast was very good, dinner variable, staff excellent A Spartan hotel with poor quality bedrooms- No shower gel, no conditioner, and shampoo in a squeeze bottle bolted to the wall. No mini bar, no water , and the rooms were unbelievably /un pleasantly hot.
- Steve (9/5): The hotel managed to get the little things right as well as the big ones. - Catering facilities and professionalism of the staff. Very comfortable room with modern equipment such as coffee machine, flat screen tv with ability to connect via HDMI cable. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangars. Good room lighting. Good hairdryer - all the little things that you dont choose a room for but appreciate when they are right or curse when they are not. Nothing without looking for fault such as one supersize pillow and one cushion size as opposed to 2 regular sized pillows.

- Helen (10/5): Superb Hotel - we will be back! - Great facilities: The spa and pool area was well maintained and perfect for relaxing after skiing or during the day when it was empty! The restaurant had a fantastic buffet with selection of salads, meats and cheeses etc on top of the daily menu. The location was superb, 100 yards from the piste. The rooms got a little warm at night but soon cooled down by opening a window for a few minutes.
- Luigi (10/5): All in all a very good holiday - Food was excellent. Breakfast, snack and dinner every day. Very nice spa, steam bath, sauna and pool. Good connectivity Furniture in the room and how it was laid out.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Food was great. Rooms were very comfortable. Hotel in general was cozy and welcoming and staff were lovely. The rooms were a little on the warm side, heating could have been turned a down a little bit.

- Martin (10/5): Truly amazing ski resort with very friendly local people - The rooms, food and staff at this hotel were excellent, the rooms were clean, spacious and serviced daily, the food at Breakfast and Dinner would grace a high class restaurant and the staff were truly amazing...nothing was too much trouble for them especially Daniel (Restaurant), Petra/Dominic & Samuel (Bar) and Nora (reception)......thank you all for making our holiday. Nothing could have been better

Staff at the Gurglhoff are amazing, friendly and so professional. particularly, Daniel in the restaurant, Daniel and Petra behind the bar and the lovely Nora on Reception. Thank you for making our holiday so perfect and we look forward to seeing you next year. Nothing to dislike
- Joanne (10/5): It’s one of the best ski holidays we have had the hotel was outstanding we are booking next year - The location was excellent, the service in the restaurant was outstanding Daniel looked after us so well from breakfast through to our evening meal. All of the staff across the hotel were outstanding Nora on reception was so lovely and helpful…. Our room was cleaned to a great standard every day nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, we visited some of the other hotels for a drink during our stay but we all agreed that the Gurglhof was the best choice There wasn’t anything we had a problem with during our stay

- Oleksandra (10/5): Great place to stay, personal more than helpful! - personal was so nice and friendly, delicious food. we had a room at 5th floor with high ceiling and huge windows with a nice view. room was extremely clean after daily cleaning there is no any heating element in wc, it was really cold there (no heated floor or anything). there are two ski rooms: room to store ski at 0 floor and “ski-boot” room (was too small for amount of people) at -1 floor, so you need to go by stairs in ski boots every time you’re going to/from skiing.
