Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Keinen Parkplatz beim Hotel, jedoch hat es in 5 Minuten Gehdistanz ein Parkhaus.

• Matthew (10/5): Highly recommended - This is a lovely hotel, really well positioned in a quiet street away from the mayhem of the main city, just around the corner from San Giovanni railway station. There are really nice restaurants in the street and a large Carre For supermarket five minutes away. The breakfast is great, but the best thing was the staff,all of whom were just lovely and helpful. The terrace lounge is a pretty spot to relax.

• Vincent (6/5): Great place, but you can’t leave you luggage for free and be careful. - Very Nice and comfortable rooms. An enjoyable terrace to relax. Very good breakfast. It was not possible to leave the luggage at the hotel for more than 2 hours for free. We wanted to leave the luggage after checkout at the hotel in order to walk without luggage in the city of Como until our train would leave in the late afternoon. However, the hotel requested 3 Euros per luggage per hour after the 2-hours grace period. For us, this would have costed 45 Euros because we had 3 luggages and we had to leave the luggage until late afternoon. This is clearly inacceptable and this is the first time in my life that a hotel wants to charge me 45 Euros to keep my luggage after checkout. I don’t understand the reason for this policy, since the hotel looked quite large and felt almost empty so it had enough room to put the luggage in an unused room. The person at the desk was not willing to make an exception for us and we had to carry our luggage with us during the day in Como.

• mmb272017 (10/5): A comfortable well located hotel - This is a small boutique hotel situated near to the railway station and a short walk from the lake. Our room was comfortable and quite spacious. The breakfast was good. There is a roof terrace where you can have a quiet drink or just sit and read. The staff are all friendly and helpful. A really nice place to stay.

The front desk and breakfast staff were great, very nice and helpful. I needed ice foe a beer we bought and they didn't hesitate to provide a small bag. Another hotel where there are no hooks in the bathroom for clothes and towels even though there are 2 empty walls plenty of room. Towel warmer didn't work either.

She went above and beyond to fine us alternative transportation, which wasn’t easy during a train strike and flooding that day! Thank you for saving us from missing our flight! Lovely property, decent range at breakfast, nice little terrace to sit in if you need a communal area.

We were very pleased to be shown our charming room with green stripped wall paper and creature comforts. Staff could not be more helpful and kind. Good position however not across from lake. Lovely places to eat near by. Good walking distance to sights, train station and lake .
• Janell (10/5): Quaint and historic Como - We loved the lovely, quaint, historic hotel. The service was the best and our accommodations were comfortable. We were walking distance to the pier, funicular and restaurants. The hotel was a little tricky to find (better signage would have helped) and the public parking was not convenient, but we know that is often the trade off when staying in the Old Town centers in Europe.

We were very wet when we arrived and they had our rooms ready. We were able to change into dry clothes as soon as we arrived. Great advice on dinner options.

• TERESA (10/5): Hidden Gem! And Close to fantastic food - From checkin to checkout, the Hotel Borgo Antico was the perfect stay. We were happily pleased when buzzed in as it was like stepping into an unexpected sanctuary from the somewhat "blah" street. And a huge plus is that just doors down were two very good restaurants, one a casual pub style with traditional Italian food and the other an enchanting gourmet garden restaurant with great ambiance, food and wine. The Terrace garden is a big plus, a relaxing place to unwind. The entire hotel was immaculate. So impressed at how clean everything was. Our room was on the back side so we had views of beautiful rock formations and it was really quiet. Our bathroom was large and boasted a fantastic shower. The receptionist checking us in took the time to draw on the local map and recommended several restaurants. This place is in walking distance from the Lake Como, the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta - Duomo. and the funicular and Old Town... all within 30 minutes. Breakfast was included with a coffee bar where you could get tasty specialty coffees (also included). I'd stay here again. It's a fantastic base camp to explore Como.

Would definitely recommend If going to Bellagio, fast ferry can only be booked on the day and almost unachievable to do this. Recommend getting bus from outside train station, every half hour and takes about an hour and book return fast ferry on arrival in Bellagio for return trip

The breakfast was really really good, we were full until evening. Thank you! There were no slippers in the room. The soap was very small. There was no hanger to hang and dry the towels in the bathroom. The shower was too small altho I am a petite woman. It would be great to have a dustbin in the room as well. The guests should be given two room cards, not one.
