Marni (4/5): - Unfortunaltey our stay was less than satisfactory. There was no running cold water and the microwave was locked so I couldn't use it. we also had to switch rooms cause our room was invested with ants crawling all over the floor. I will not stay there again.

Sally (8/5): - I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior of this motel is very unassuming but the interior of the rooms have been completely renovated. The bathroom had well appointed fixtures, with a nice deep tub for soaking. The beds were comfy however I found the pillows too plump. The room was very clean. I would stay here again.

No TV in the bedroom, little storage space. No kitchen utensils were in the kitchenette that had only a sink and stove.
Roberto (8/5): - The old Super 8 with renovated rooms and rebranded to Coast Penticton. Stayed in bottom floor room, 2 queen beds. Room was clean, roomy and had a bar fridge and microwave. The only negative would be that there was a number of smaller pieces of garbage and cigarette butts on the ground in front of the rooms. I am a smoker myself but I left no butts on the ground during our stay. Ashtrays of some sort outside would be handy.

Leeah (2/5): scamming and lying be careful. - Lady was very rude and called me after I checked out and everything was perfect, she was lying saying that I smoked in the room and wanted more money. I told her she was lying because I absolutely did not smoke in my room ever. Then she said “because of my pet” which was strange because I paid $75 for my pet already and to just switch the reason like that. Also there were bugs in the bathtub everyday.

Jen (10/5): - Room was very clean, new, beds were comfy, ac was blowing icy cold for me, and the bathtub was deeper than any standard hotel I have been to (and that’s lots!). Sure it’s not right on the beach but it was in a quiet area tucked away from the hustle of the main tourist area, but close to amenities. It was priced at about 1/2 the price of hotels in the area, I have zero complaints. There are some mixed reviews but I think that some people have unrealistic expectations of a budget friendly hotel. It was perfect for us. I will stay again.

Victoria (4/5): - I don’t normally write messages like this, but I felt really let down by our recent stay at your Penticton location and wanted to bring some things to your attention. While the room had potential, it felt unfinished and frankly, a little neglected - especially considering the $280 per night rate. From the moment we arrived, it seemed like the room was still under construction or not properly inspected before our stay. At the front door, the laminate floor from the outside walkway wasn’t cut or secured properly - a clear tripping hazard. Inside, a coiled ethernet cable was lying right by the entry - again, another safety concern. The inside front door handle had drywall dust on it. The electrical panel was exposed and an eyes sore. The walls were chipped and scuffed in multiple areas, which was surprising if this room is supposed to be newly renovated. Several electrical outlets weren’t securely fastened, which doesn’t feel safe. The bathtub still had the plastic protective film on it, as if the space wasn’t fully prepared for guests. On top of that, the air conditioner had black marks around the plug that looked like a past short circuit - very concerning. On the service side, we had issues with key cards on check-in and again the following day. And the water situation was frustrating - mostly running warm or hot, and barely cool even after someone came to look at it. It was 38 degrees outside, and we couldn’t even get cold wa

There was construction going on in the room next to us. Got woken up early in the AM to the sounds of drills and hammers after a 12 hour drive with no sleep. You would think they’d let potential customers know of this before they decide to book thinking they’ll have a peaceful stay. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Lisa (8/5): Newly renovated and good value for money - This is a newly renovated hotel under new ownership. The rooms are clean and there are good in-room amenities. Everyone I spoke with were friendly and accommodating. The only downside was spotty wifi. Everything else was great.
Wenguang (8/5): - The premises seems recently renovated. Most of the room fits the standard of a budget hotel. But some of the area need more attractions, the bathtub has stains which can't be washed off. Due to the lack off lobby space, guests tend to gather in front of the rooms at ground level, which could be noisy. In general, it's reasonable price. The location is in the centre of the town, only minutes drive to each corner of the town, but not walkable distance.

The sitting room had no couch and only 1 desk chair. The staff did provide a second chair when we asked. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were great and the bedding felt luxurious.

Chelsea (4/5): - Booked the rooms for 2 nights for crew, paid for rooms and were told they could only have 1 night (again paid for 2....), they were able to stay the 2nd night after some discussion. Next they were told there was renos going on so they would have to run the hot water for 10+ minutes to get it hot, no amount of running gave up hot water in either room. So there was no showers to be had in the rooms and unfortunately we were unable to move as there was limited accommodations in the area at the time. I don't like to leave bad reviews but unfortunately this was just a bad experience all around.

sandy (4/5): Coast Hotel Penticton BC - The place was under construction. Nails, screws, and other construction debris all over the parking lot. The craftsmanship in the room was below par. Drywall dust everywhere. Drywall mud not sanded in corners. Paint on cabinets not cleaned up. Cabinets not flush against the wall. Sheets on bed were very wrinkled. I did notice housekeeper pulling sheets/pillow cases from a laundry bin and taking them into a room they were cleaning, nothing was folded just in a heap in the bin. It rained while I was there and the stairs not constructed properly filled up with water and became very slippery and dangerous. Construction workers both days I was there smoking outside rooms. For the cost I was not impressed.

This locks up space on my card, luckily I don’t need it. It was just very inconvenient and they acted as though this was all normal.
