- abigael (10/5): - My sister told me the ambience was spectacular and convenient for her especially the venue just literally in that building.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I’m very sorry but I stayed here only 1 night of the 5 nights reserved. This place smells horrible. It smells of old moth balls. Staff was nice but I couldn’t stay here.
- Joselito (8/5): - Great value and solid internet
- Ronald (8/5): - Good service
- Jocelyn (8/5): - I like that the location of the hotel is convenient to malls, restaurants, transportation and the airport. I like it that their staff provides excellent service. I’ve stayed in this hotel so many times because of these
- Jocelyn (8/5): - I’ve always checked in at this hotel because I feel safe in this area. The staff provides excellent service. It’s nearby eating places and shopping.
- Jocelyn (8/5): - I’ve always stayed in this hotel because it is near the malls, restaurants and I always feel safe.
- Min-chieh (4/5): - No hot water
No TV
Staff was great to help but no avail
- Charles (8/5): - The staff are very helpful and accomodating. That was the best part of the hotel.
The in room facilities are old but eventually worked and ok. (had to change rooms to get access to wifi which initially didn't work - but the staff worked to provide portable wifi access until it was corrected.
I also didnt have access to much warm water to shower, which wasnt too much of an issue as it was hot. The Pool was good and the loacation was very close to shops, restaurant and laundrymat which was very useful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a very nice hotel.
The only problem I had was my taxi had a hard time finding it.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was portrayed to be much more than it really is. Very dated rooms and amenities
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Needs Immediate Renovation!
- jeff (8/5): - Wifi in the room could be better - had to sleep at the foot of the bed to get a signal :-)
- Mayor (10/5): - The staff here is second to none!! They are awesome!! I also was introduced to the GM she was walking by and one of the staff introduced me to her. She was very interested in what I thought of the hotel and staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff service is excellent. I love that it is accessible to malls and transportation. The hotel is clean but it needs renovation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Place is clean and have all the basic things you need. Checking in and out was prompt. Service staff is good. I would say it is excellent value for money - limited amenities but it is one of the less expensive places you can find in the best location. Location is the best aspect as it is just across a major shopping mall where you can find a grocery, bank, drugstore and lots of food outlets. Very accessible
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very reasonable place to stay in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - good and convenience, friendly staff and accommodating
- Rosemary (10/5): recommend this to our USA friends going to Manila - Great and safe location friendly and helpful personnel
- Che (8/5): - close to simple amenities like McDonald's and 7 eleven. Like that it is also quite central within the business district.
- Hua Tien (8/5): Next to Makati shopping area - It was my first time to stay here, well its old but clean ,simple place to stay..its safe & near shopping malls..location is just 15 mins from the Airport..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is the best in the world.I am speechless me and my wife loved it.They treat you like a
King and
Queen.
- Jennah (6/5): - The shower heater doesnt work. I took a cold bath at night and in the morning
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic goodness - Good basic accommodations close to everything. The Cafe serves good food at reasonable prices.
- Feebie (4/5): Rundown hotel close to Mall - Good location but otherwise very average hotel. It was quite rundown and small. Old curtains, couch and very basic facilities!
- Stanford (8/5): Ok for price - WiFi a struggle. Old building great location
- Trygve (8/5): - Good location, close to shopping mall. good aircon.
- John-Paul (6/5): Avg Hotel with top location. - Average class Hotel with old décor and appearance.
You are mainly paying for the location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent
- Leon (10/5): Excellent accommodation for less money - All you need no frills accommodation right smack in the middle of central business district and shopping area, Makati. Clean rooms, very helpful staff, and 1 minute walk away from Greenbelt malls. Room and facilities may need updating but can't complain with service and definite value for money. Staff will happily assist anytime, just ask.
- Rita Marie (10/5): Great Place - The staff at AIM Conference Center were friendly and helpful. Location is great. Walking distance to Landmark, Greenbelt and Glorietta. Has easy access to rides going to and from airport. Definitely coming back to stay at the hotel.
- Ross (10/5): - I got a swollen knee. AIM provided a doctor , nurse, medicine and crutches. THANKS!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Comfortable at a very reasonable price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good conditions for a very reasonable rate. Attentive and responsive staff.
- Lolita F (8/5): - Staff is very friendly efficient bathroom needs upgrading
Needs bars for handicap
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location - Nothing beats this hotel for its accessibility to a lot of places i like to go to in Makati - restaurants, shops, church, museum. Wi fi sometimes weak but staff always ready with remedy. Some showers hard ro manipulate. Needs upgrading.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good and happy stay - Second time stay here in aim conference. The hotel is a bit old but with the money you spend is really good. The place is walking distance like 10 mins yo greenbelt. The restaurant on 5th floor is good and ground floor has a fance cafe and food there also good. I enjoy there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Renovation was done and looks great. - This was our second stay in the hotel because we like it. Location is perfect, just across Greenbelts. Staff are friendly.
- John (6/5): Aim manila - The only problems i had for my one day visit were that the water didn't work in the shower and the wifi connection was so bad it kept cutting off and when it did work was very slow. This place was not good value for money.
- Michael (8/5): - Pros: excellent location, friendly service and right for the budget
Cons: a bit dated, bathroom a bit moldy, internet has poor connection
- Willy (8/5): Adequate in a great area - Excellent location a block away from Greenbelt shopping Mall. Very safe and secure even though it is in the same building as the Asian Institute of Management. Always have people running around. The room itself is old and small but the bedding was fine. the Bathroom was clean and working. the views were nothing to write home about. Nice writing table and the internet worked. The amenities I never bothered using like the swimming pool.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, right across the shopping malls - Hotel is quite small but clean and very accessible. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - right across the shopping malls, McDonald's 24 hours store, banks and Catholic chapels.
- E.T. (8/5): good location and room is comfortable - the staff are friendly and the room is fairly good with space and everything work fairly like aircon shower and the price is reasonable with near greenbelt and makati.
- Marlon (6/5): Nice stay for short stay , near to shopping mall - The hotel is near to the greenbelt shopping mall. Excellent place if you are looking for budget hotel near to the makati shopping mall
There is a restaurant at 5th floor the food is good and the price is reasonable.
The hotel staff are approachable and polite.
- FELICITAS (8/5): - We stayed in this hotel for 2 nd time, good location
- Edward (6/5): Close to mall - Inflexible on checkin time and checkout, without incurring additional charges. Impossible to read in room at night with two dim yellowish overhead lights. Room good only for sleeping and showering. Draws and closet doors very difficult to open and close.
- Joel (8/5): Nice place to stay in the area - Pleasant stay -- staff was very nice and accommodating. The area is exactly what and where we want. We're booking for another stay.
- Richard (6/5): Nice hotel near Glorietta and Greenbelt - Have been returning to this hotel for several years whenever I visit Manila. Despite it's age the hotel for the price is located in a very convenient location close to the two major shopping malls and in a relatively safe area for tourist.
Have been travelling to Manila for a decade and after discovering this hotel two years ago have been staying here.
I travel to the Philippines at least 3 times each year for over ten years and have stayed in most of the ***+ hotels in the area all within waking distance.
- Richard (6/5): Pleasant hotel near Greenbelt/Glorietta area - Have been staying at this hotel for the past three years as I find it's close proximity to the Greenbelt and Glorietta Shopping Malls the most convenient 3 star hotel. It is a safe and short walk to the shopping center with a large variety of shops and restaurants. The large SM supermarket and Ayala rail station is within walking distance.
The rooms are reasonable with space and high ceilings but old in appearance. Bathroom and water pressure is good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very clean and quiet except for rush hour when you heard the noise of the car horns. Very nice place to be near everything and not have to travel by car. Water pressure in the shower was weak but had very clean facilities and a nice large shower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old building but Great Location - I booked the deluxe room but for some reason i was given a room that was very small. I dont have enough room to have an open luggage. It was seriously small. I complained at the front desk first i was told that all the deluxe room are the same size. I went back the next day to the front desk and i was given the larger room. It was mentioned in another review that there's pretty much no hot water. It was true, I didnt shower for almost 3 days then i finally complained.
The restaurant on the 5th floor and 1st was decent and convenient. The one on the 5th floor is better. However, i didnt know about the restaurant on the 5th floor until 6 days later since the front desk failed to inform me.
Pro:
Location-across from greenbelt, staff, convenient restaurant
Con:
Old facility, Poor water heater. No iron, No hairdryer, no microwave. Rooms are Tiny.
If u care about location more than anything and save money at the same time, then it may be the place for you. However, I would never stay in this place ever again.
- Teresa (2/5): Needs major renovation - This hotel needs major renovation. I was put in a renovated room already and there was still a musty smell. I was initially assigned a renovated room but I asked to be changed as the carpet on that one smelled. Overall, not a good experience. The cleaning staff and the ones working in the restaurant were great however. There was supposed to breakfast included for one night but the staff would not honor it saying it was a mistake on the site.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable stay - The room was very clean. The hotel itself is near the commercial district and just walking distance to key destinations in Makati.
Overall, my stay was very comfortable
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location is so close to the mall and restaurants. - Had a wonderful stay and staffs were so helpful. I would surely come back to this hotel.
- joyce (10/5): Nice hotel, close to Shopping Centers, Restaurants - Hotel staff were very courteous, accommodating and helpful to customers
- Jacques (4/5): Very basic room. Nothing special. Bathroom not ve - I would not recommend it. Just too basic and not a clean bathroom.
- Humphrey (6/5): Slow wifi makes you cry - The hotel is in a fantastic location and staff is highly professional. The rooms are small and basic but clean. Breakfast/food @ restaurant was better several years back. Wifi is extremely slow and not suitable for business travellers.
- Rita Marie (8/5): Unexpectedly Great Hotel to Stay in Makati - Our stay at AIM Conference Center was a pleasant experience.
The room was clean, spacious and equiped with amenities.
The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful
Internet connection inside the room however was slow and intermitent.
Hope the hotel will improve on its inroom wifi connections.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice place close to restaurants - Was pleasantly surprised with my stay and will stay again. Highly recommend this hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Situated on a less busy street yet a minute walk away from Greenbelt mall.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient lication. Restaurant is excellent. - Found the need for: 1) brighter lighting 2) bathroom renovation. Shower is difficult to get the right temp.; shower door sticks and difficult to slide open when wet, 3) towel rack is too high to reach. 4) fridge needs an upgrade; can be small but roomier for fruits not just drinks. A simple renovation will help improve all this.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Actually great location and comfortable hotel - Courteous staff including front desk. She was able to move me immediately to another room without plumbing problem and adequate wifi coverage...
- Luca (8/5): Good - Just been her a night cause I had a flight the next day, overall tho it was a good place to spend the night at
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - Great location, house keeping. However staffed more for a conference center then a hotel.
- Raymond (8/5): YLP 2017 - comfortable
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - staff not like a hotel more of a business center but handled my needs. Pool is disgusting and no one uses. Great location.
- stan (6/5): Location - Best part of hotel is location and price. It is close to Greenbelt and many activities. Price is good.
Reception is cold, room is small but adequate and price is good. Wifi can be an issue
- Jocelyn (8/5): Love the location. Near Greenbelt. - Staff are polite and accommodating. It was accessible from the airport. Taxi fare cost about $5.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Wifi is so slow. The room looks dodgy. Shower needs renovation. Toilet doesn't flush properly.
- Atif (2/5): Dirty and very aged. - One of the worst hotel i have stayed in. Dirty rooms, smell is intense, wifi is the worst. Staff is friendly but can't really do anything but charge fee and upgrade your room which i pretty much the same.
- Liew (8/5): great location with budget in mind - moderate
- Reby (8/5): Best location and excellent service - It was a good and comfortable stay. Close to seminar location, accessible to shopping sites and several food choices. The neighborhood is quiet so you are guaranteed a good night's sleep.
Service is friendly and prompt.
- Boboy (8/5): Pleasant Stay - For the rate paid the accomodation was value for money. It would be nice if the TV the room was upgraded as they are almost antique models & too small. But one thing that never change was tje commendable staff.
- R (8/5): Great hotel close to Makati business centers. - Great stay so far. They have restaurant inside with great staff. Across the street there are more selections of restaurants and great Greenbelt shopping centers. This is close to almost anything in Makati with a reasonable rate. The hot shower seems not too hot enough but acceptable. Overall I am satisfied with my stay.
- Tessa (10/5): Upgraded Rooms 711 & 712 - Bathroom was upgraded, new carpet and whiter beddings.
- Michael (10/5): Couldn't fault it! - Short but very sweet stay! People are very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel room. Value for money and location are 10 out of 10! Would never think twice to stay there again!
- CARLOS (4/5): on a budget - Pretty basic hotel, staff was helful and courteous.
- Thomas (6/5): Good value for money - Good value for money, good location,
Friendly staff.
Improvement is needed in bathrooms, no warm water, the carpeted rooms are kind of smelly and the interior decor is outdated.
- Robert (6/5): Close to Greenbelt Mall - Very good rooms.Close to Greenbelt Mall. Not from the airport
- Jo (4/5): Good location but tiny cramped room - I wasn't expecting much because of the good price for a Makati location. However, there are also many other similarly priced condo units, also near the Greenbelt malls, that are much bigger and newer. The room was just too small and too dated, although I must say the bathroom was nice and clean. There was a big dead cockroach on the floor when we entered the room. At least it was dead, and did not see any live ones during the rest of my two-night stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs Renovation - It was ok, nothing special.
- AR (4/5): - not pleasant..receptionists are not really welcoming..so much attitude
- Raymond (8/5): Accessability to many fascit of the city. - A decent place to stay while in Manila or Makati.
- Ms Adelaide (6/5): Needs to renovate / upgrade / repair . - Needs seroius improvement. I stayed for 2 weeks, my first day was almost like a survivor challenge. Aircon was turned off so room smelled like old furniture, smell gradually went away after a few hours I turned it on. Was to put some belongings inside this wardrobe but could not move the other sliding door , it was broken and did not want to see the tall heavy door falling flat on my head as it will surely cause an accident. Went to take a shower but the knob was literally hard work. Only cold water was coming out sparingly. Called front office to inform them and was told that knob just needs to be pulled and pushed with full force. The next day I told the front office that I was NOT happy with the room that they gave me and asked to be transferred to another decent room. They have confirmed that thay can organise for that after 4 days as they were fully booked at that time. Eventually I have decided to stay in my room after I worked out the shower plus did not want to stress about packing things up again only to find out that another room has got about the same issue. So then I remained in the same room and where the wardrobe door was left unfixed for the rest of my stay. On one occassion I have stained the hand towel and bath towel and was charged for their replacement. On the positive note, Bed was very comfortable, housekeeping staff named Sherwin was very hospitable and most of all, hotel was very accesible to the shop.
- Jesus O. (8/5): An Excellent Vacation - I highly recommend AIM Centre primarily because of its price, and secondarily because of its location. Also it is very well managed. The Staff are great in the performance of their duties and responsibilities. I arrived early before my room is vacated and the front desk staff offered to attend to my accommodation right away. The front receiving staff assisted me with my luggage and gave me my luggage claim tickets and as soon as my room was available, I was assisted with my luggage. The daily room attendant diligently made my room cleaned thoroughly everyday and changed my bed sheets as I requested. Bottled water was always replenished in the refrigerator and the water heater a big plus for my coffee and tea. The Safety Box was great! I can leave cash, passport, and other valuable items safe where ever I go. Overall, I highly recommend AIM Centre to Everyone.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pros and Cons of booking at AIM hotel - My stay at AIM was convenient and efficient; nothing frilly and fancy.
The hotel rooms were clean, its the most reasonably priced in the area considering that Makati is the CBD.
(+) (1) personnel are accommodating and they address your concerns promptly, (2) you can have your food delivered in your room, (3) you can arrange for a masseuse - from their recommended service-provider, (4) their hotel toiletries are unisex - neither too masculine nor too feminine, (5) internet is reliable
(-) (1) towels are not too white. they are clean but you know that they have been used over and over again, (2) the hot shower takes some time to rev up. you will have to settle for lukewarm temperature.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Efficient and reliable staff. Quiet an safe location.
- Duncan (6/5): Ok. But they need to improve guest requests - Friendly service .. Very slow internet , slow to react to request for help as a guest .
- Jennifer J (8/5): Good location - I would say that it was a very good experience. I always stay in this Hotel everytime I have meetings in Makati as it is strategically located.
- Stephen (10/5): Great Deal! - This place is a great deal. It is a little hard to find but is located right across the street from the greenbelt mall. Staff was friendly and polite. Room service food was excellent. Rooms were slightly smallish but nicely decorated and very comfortable. Shower stalls could use an upgrade but for the price and location? this place cant be beat. I will certainly stay here again
- Martin (6/5): Good hotel - I booked 5 nights in this hotel, in general its OK, I love its location. I booked a room with 1 double bed, I have given a room with 2 single beds. the next day they moved us to the correct room.
The towels are pretty old, please bring your own, or you need to accept what they provide. Hot water wasn't really hot, just warm to cold. Overall good for what you pay.
- Lee Hung (6/5): an okay place, close to green belt 2, tourist area - area was good. close to shops and food. its tricky because its on a one way street, and the lobby isn't that amazing, but the rooms are fine enough.
- robert d. (6/5): You get what you pay for - Everything was satisfactory in basic terms. The bath towels looked like they had been bought second hand from another hotel chain, the shower was seldom hot and the rooms badly need reading lights above the beds. In the end it's no good complaining that you don't get in a $100 hotel what you get in a $200 hotel. The staff were very obliging and always helpful and the hotel's proximity to the Greenbelt mall was a great advantage.
- Jason (4/5): Much better places available - I attempted to check in at 2pm, to be told my room wasn't ready, it was 3pm before I was given the key card.
When I asked why say 2pm check in when the rooms are not ready till 3pm, the receptionist told me I just have to wait till they are ready, no apology and no explanation, just a shrug of the shoulders, customer service skills?
Shown to an elevator, that only took me half way, had to find some staff who explained I had to change elevators to get to my floor.
Once at the room, key cards did not work, back to reception, then back to room, they still didn't work as luck would have it, a member of the cleaning staff allowed me into my room, at least that saved me a return on the elevator.
Room is very basic, or at least 20 years out of date and is desperate for some redecoration, sheets are worn and had some small holes.
Bathroom is clean and the shower worked well, but take your own towels as again those provided are past much use.
If you want internet the free one in the lobby works well, however once in your room, you would be better investing in a carrier pigeon as it would be faster than what is supplied. I understand the Philippines has slow speeds, but waiting 10 minutes for basic e-mail makes it worthless.
Food is mediocre at best, but plenty of cafes and restaurants around within walking distance.
This place is a conference centre, that's the core business, the accommodation is very tired, there are better Hotels within walking distance and at comparable rates.
- Antonio (6/5): Old inn in great location. - Great location. Old dormitories of students. Needs bright lighting and fresh, not 10 year old towels.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Location and service - This hotel needs a renovation but the staff did their best to serve the needs of guests. Location is excellent and very near greenbelt. I think they need to replace their old towels though and buy new flat screen TVs.
- Humphrey (6/5): Great location, needs refurbishment - Great location, near restaurants, shopping, transportation. The hotel staff is excellent: service-oriented and attentive. The bed is comfortable and the pool is sufficient for short laps. The room is basic and clean although it needs refurbishment (esp shower). I find it a tad expensive considering the quality of room you get.
- Travel Mum (8/5): Comfortable Stay - Our stay at AIM Conference Center was comfortable and value driven. The biggest draw card for us was its location and accessibility to Makati shops. Beddings were clean and staff were friendly and efficient. Venue atmosphere was pleasant and safe. Facilities are very basic. There was no hairdryrer or microwave, limited cutlery and ironing was not allowed.
- RJ Torraco (6/5): Great Value. Excellent Location - For the price and location this is the best option in Makati. Room is adequate, staff is helpful, wifi is very good, cable TV is not the best.
