Siu Ling (5/5): 住房遇上問題，前枱職員馬上回饋，大堂前堂經理羅小姐亦好誠懇向我們道歉，提供貼心安排我們順利check out - 早餐很好，多選擇，包含雲南特色食物，餐廳大廚亦在旁為客人們解釋雲南特色美食如何配搭食用，很用心，讚👍 酒店位置很好，很方便，附近也有食肆。喜歡前枱職員有禮貌，大堂前堂經理羅小姐很貼心幫忙我們退房離開酒店。這次入住安排的房間很差，如廁後冇水沖，叫維修員來修，維修員只回覆沒得修理，需要等數分鐘後才能上水，非常不便，令本人不滿。房間廁所鏡框疑似曾被燒焦，很多焦黑，牆上插蘇位疑似被毀壞，風筒插蘇頭插唔入，安全起見亦不敢用插蘇位。房間還有其他問題，令我當晚好不安，不能寧靜入睡。前枱職員馬上回應，大堂前堂經理羅小姐亦誠懇道歉，並貼心照顧我們退房及離開酒店。

Francesco (8/5): Un peu déçus ! - Nous avons aime la chambre, spacieuse et agréable, le service en chambre et la lingerie sont parfaits. Les extérieurs soignés et magnifiques, le hall d’entrée somptueux. L’établissement est vraiment trop grand à notre goût. En revenant du restaurant chinois (par ailleurs excellent) nous avons mis du temps à retrouver notre chemin en traversant d’immenses salles inoccupées ou utilisées comme entrepôts. Notre repas du dernier soir au restaurant Market (à la carte) a été très décevant. Le petit déjeuner était superbe et excellent mais un matin, alors que le buffet ouvre à 6h, nous demandons des gaufres à 6h45, la réponse d’un serveur a été “le préposé prend son petit déjeuner” ! Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels Intercontinental et c’est la première fois que nous en sommes partis um peu déçus.

Both the hotel itself and its surroundings are perfect for those who prefer calm walks in the fresh air. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options, ranging from European-style yogurt and pastries to local dumplings and noodles. - Although the hotel has a spa, the massage services are unreasonably expensive. - Very few of the hotel staff speak English, which can be a significant inconvenience.

Daniel (5/5): People make a place - A very beautiful hotel with grand lobby and majestic entry. The decor is elegant and the gardens are beautiful. The room was well appointed with a good view of the hotels central garden. I would have liked a small guest handbook explaining the available facilities. Good hospitality is made by people and unfortunately I did not feel super welcome here. Check in was flat and I did not receive any information about my room location or where and when breakfast where was served. Not a major issue but it led to me feeling very "foreign" while travelling solo so far from home. I ended up staying in my room for the duration of my stay.

You will need taxi for most of the activities. The hotel is walking distance to DianChi only. Overall, hotel is nice for getaway , but not too convenient if you are here for touring the city

The staff were very polite, although as with most hotels in China, one should have a translation app. The cocktail lounge was lovely, with live entertainment by a lovely couple ftom Ukraine. The all day cafe served a wonderful and vast buffet breakfast and dinner. The Teppanyaki restaurant was excellent. Try one of the multicourse set menus. Welcome and departure gift of tins of tea was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

The staffs are very helpful, especially Stacy Chen and Enzo, they helped me at 8pm to get my Skype working for my meeting at 9pm. They helped me plan my stay in Kunming and I got to visit all the interesting spots in Kunming. The cleaning lady noticed that i did not have a pad for my mouse and she got one for me, very observant and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean and with beautiful garden. Alvin (10/5): Excellent stays and experience. - The staffs are helpful friendly and always offer help when requested. They are well trained with highly etiquette. Few worth mentioning occasions are a concierge staff offer to drive me near to the lake where I wanted to go baggie and show me the hotel surrounding. Gardening staff politely wait for guests to walk past them before carry on their jobs. Staff try their best to extend for me a late check out where by flight is at mid-night. A management staff offer to bring me to the correct lobby lift and more. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you and will come again as along as you maintain your high standard service and pricing.

We had buffet dinner at the hotel, some of the dishes were emptied at 715 pm and was not replenished, reason given was there was a 100 day baby shower held at the restaurant. We thought we would have tasty food but were disappointed. Staff could have been better. Staff at the Japanese section of the buffet was great but not the staff at breakfast behind the counters, they need more training in terms of service. Staff on the floor were attentive.

But the see-through bathroom made it challenging for the roommates to keep privacy. The facility is huge and we got lost when trying to check in. It's nice to have live music in the evening but people smoked there. This made the experience unpleasant.
