- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is a beautiful old Belgian mansion converted into a B&B. The stay is very welcoming and the rooms very comfortable, with a lot of furniture and decorations sympathetic to the age of the building. The locations is about 15 minutes from Brugge, but easy to find and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the nearby village does have some amenities, they do close fairly early.

Our room was beautiful with lovely vibrant blue wall paper and a unique bathtub our son enjoyed. Breakfast was large and plentiful, just perfect for our family ranging from 2 and 13 to us adults. The owners were very kind and showed our son their parrot, he loved it! I'd love to visit again in spring/summer because I know the property would be blooming to it's fullest beauty at that time.
- Eliandro (10/5): Outstanding - We had a very nice welcoming at arrival. Our bedroom was so clean and fresh. We loved the antique furniture, the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The B&B is set in a very quite area with lovely views. Good continental breakfast. I would definitely book it again and I would recomend it.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Herrschaftlicher Landsitz - Die Zimmer sind individuell mit antikem Mobiliar eingerichtet - wir haben Spaß an dieser Art von besonderer, individueller Einrichtung, die so gar nicht mit den Standardzimmern in Standardhotels vergleichbar sind. Das Badezimmer ist renoviert und unseren Ansprüchen, die durchaus nicht gering sind, völlig gerecht. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker.

- Scott (10/5): Nice stay in a beautiful Mansion - Our family stayed at Domain Leegendael while visiting Bruges. This was a beautiful Mansion with well maintained grounds. No air conditioning in July, but the room cooled off comfortably when we opened the windows.
- Tom (10/5): Moderne (w-lan) trifft auf klassischen Stil! - Das Haus führt einen auf eine Reise in die Vergangenheit, ohne auf die modernen Dinge des Lebens ( W-LAN, Flachbildschirm-TV, Boxspringbett) zu verzichten. Alles Top mit alten Materialien renoviert. Wundervoll!! Ausreichend Parkplätze, leckeres Frühstück und sehr nette Gastgeber...wir kommen wieder!

Très bel accueil de la patronne aux petits soins pour la clientèle Petit déjeuner correct , jolie salle à manger style ancien Pour les amoureux des belles demeures , c'est l'endroit idéal parc bien entretenu invitant à la promenade et la détente ! Nous avons reçu de bons conseils restaurants de la part de notre hôtesse, néanmoins pensez à réserver car le we , c'est pas garanti de trouver place !
- Michael (10/5): Simply a great stay... - Place is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were on a brewery pilgrimage of the Trappist and others. The staff made nice recommendations for dinners and side trip - and directions around the area. Hope to get back there with friends soon.

- Paul en Carolin (8/5): Rustig gelegen B&B met geschiedenis - Het onthaal was sympathiek, we hebben bij het uitchecken ook nog wat uitleg gevraagd over het kasteel waarbij de eigenares uitvoerig haar verhaal deed. Het is ook een geschikte locatie om met de ganse familie te verblijven. Centraal gelegen om kust en omliggende steden te bezoeken.

- Bilal (10/5): Lovely place to stay - What a lovely place to stay. The family room was huge with a massive bathroom and it's own seating area. Very fast wifi. Good Breakfast. Ample free parking. Easy access to Brugge. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable. There is also a lovely little lounge downstairs with a real wood burning fire place. The house is full of character and beautifully kept. Would love to go back again.

Das von uns gebuchte Familienzimmer war ein Traum . Die Einrichtung passend zum Kasteel. Morgens wurden wir vom Hahn geweckt. Sehr gute Lage zwischen Brügge und Ostende.

- Verified traveler (8/5): een aanrader - Het is een mooie authentieke locatie. Een bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaresse waarbij je gelijk een thuis gevoel krijgt. Daarbij wordt er tegelijk veel informatie gedeeld over de naburige stad Brugge, parkeervoorzieingen en andere bijzonderheden. De kamers zijn netjes en verzorgt. Een absolute aanrader voor een weekendje weg.

- Sofie (10/5): Charmigt hotell på landet - Ett fantastiskt mysigt bed and breakfast ute på landet. Charmigt, äldre hus med en mycket trevlig och serviceminded värdinna. Rummet vi hade var rymligt och mysigt för 2vuxna och 2ungdomar. Frukosten var en helt okej kontinental frukost. En bit in till närmaste samhälle med restaurang ca. 15 minuter med bil kan vara bra att veta och vi fick bra hjälp av värdinnan med bordsbokningen.

- James (10/5): Wonderful quiet - We had a wonderful stay at the home. My kids enjoyed playing in the garden. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with fresh bread and a good assortment. It was great to have the quiet natural environment after the people in Bruges. It is an easy drive to Bruges and very easy to park outside the city and walk or take the bus into town. Highly recommend this hotel.

The accommodation decor is in the original style when a Baron lived there which make it a quite different experience to the normal B&B.The local steak house was great fun with excellent quality steaks
