• MARY ELIZABETH (10/5): Unique boutique experience! - Very unique! The bar was great for a drink and cards after dinner. The girl at the desk was fantastic! Took care of with helping with parking, answered our questions and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Felt pretty special that we got yo park up in the gated city! We knew the rooms had two levels, stairs were pretty steep, beware if you have mobility issues! Lots of stairs, but the charm of the place more than made up for it!
• Julia (10/5): Beautifully restored historic hotel in the heart of the citadel - Excellent breakfast, with a choice of cooked dishes to order. And the rooms are all amazing - full of charm and character (the wooden furniture, the vaulted ceilings), reflecting the historic building, so sensitively refurbished as a hotel. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit Sighisoara! Nothing!

• Jens (8/5): - Die Lage des kleinen Hotels ist ideal. Direkt in der Zitadelle. Von dort kann man zu Fuß in alle Richtungen ausschwärmen. Es war super, dass wir den Wagen direkt vor dem Hotel parken konnten. Zuerst hatte es den Anschein, als ob wir diesen Teil der Stadt nicht befahren dürften (Schlagbaum), aber die Hotelangestellte hat uns super am Telefon geholfen, das ganze zu regeln.

• Kristóf (9/5): - Great location, wonderfully refurbished old town house. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was also more than great, with local products. Parking can be tricky, and I am not sure that you will have a parking place near the hotel. Be aware of the steps inside the house or ask for a room downstairs if you have problems climbing the stairs.

• Артем (10/5): - Очень вайбовое местечко, по возможности берите делюкс номер, он побольше, очень атмосферно и загадочно все выглядит, особенно вечером и ночью, зажигают свечи на лестницах с 1 на 2 этаж, старые деревянные ступени поскрипывают при ходьбе. Отель чистый и опрятный, не смотря на старинну) Вокруг уйма исторических мест,рядом на склоне старое кладбище, рекомендую ночью подняться посмотреть!

• Mario (10/5): - Trattasi di un'antica casa, trasformata in un graziosissimo boutique hotel con poche stanze, in pieno centro di Sighisoara. Per raggiungerlo in auto, occorre superare una barriera posta all'inizio della strada che dà accesso al nucleo storico (altrimenti pedonalizzato). Annunciandosi all'albergo o al custode della barriera e segnalando la propria riservazioni, l'accesso viene accordato. E' possibile parcheggiare nella corte dell'albergo. Le stanze, molto originali, con soffitti a volta e resti di pitture antiche, arredate con gusto, sono molto ampie (la nostra lo era). I pavimenti in legno, gli oggetti d'arredo e gli spazi in genere, conferiscono all'ambiente un'atmosfera particolare e originale. Fermandovisi a dormire sembra di essere trasportati e di appartenere ad un altro mondo (cosa che è impossibile succeda con le moderne e pur confortevoli catene di alberghi più conosciute). Gerente molto accogliente e pronta a fornire ogni tipo di spiegazione. Sighisoara - il nucleo storico - è una cittadina incantevole, ma come tutte in questa condizione, anche preda del turismo, per cui abbondano shop e bar che offrono prodotti standard confezioni apposta - e forse solo - per turisti. Perde quindi un pò il suo carattere peculiare (la cosa, però, come detto, non riguarda l'hotel).

• JASON (10/5): A delightful hotel - What a special, memorable experience this was! It was our first visit back to Sighisoara in 25 years, this time showing our daughter! And the Fronius was the perfect place to be; right in the middle of the Upper Town, but even with complimentary parking in the courtyard. The common areas are a delight, and speak of the ages this place has weathered. But best of all was our suite, which was appropriately and sumptuous furnished with interesting furniture, avoiding the temptation many places give in to to go for bland, standardised functionality. Please never go down this route Fronius! Your individuality is precious! Special mention also for the patient, kindly staff, and the delicious breakfast. Only a boorish visitor could find any fault with this place; we loved it! Nothing whatever!

Breakfast was amazing, pear juice was very good. John on reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the 1609 bar area. Dracula’s castle joke made it feel like an experience. Shop owners next door were also lovely. Helped us with parking, followed up and guarded our vehicle.

I arrived hours before check in, but the staff allowed me to bring my car up and park it at the property, which was a life saver. Very cute, unique hotel, and perfectly located for a nice day in sighisoara. Would definitely come back.
